Rachael, a young woman who gave up on men after finding her best friend and beau in a compromising position, agrees to help a wealthy woman adjust to unexpected grandchildren. Mrs. Payne’s son dropped a two year old and newborn at their house telling them he was not capable of caring for the children. The infant could not digest anything they tried to feed her and cried constantly. The poor woman was frazzled and begged for help. Thinking it would be a good distraction for Rachael, her mother encouraged her to go and live at the Payne house. Finding a wet nurse to supply milk, Rachael was able to calm the situation and start providing the love and care the two children needed. Because of her natural ability with the children, the Payne’s offered her a permanent position as their Nanny. They were offering more money than she could earn clerking at a store and they supplied all her needs encouraging her to accept the position. When the Payne’s learned, from their disgruntled son, that the children weren’t his, they were left with a decision of what to do with them. That’s where Rachael’s unthinkable choice came from.
ANOTHER REMARKABLE STORY by an outstanding Author Jean L Kuhnke. I have read every single book she has written and I am always amazed and grateful she continues to write the stories. This story is about the youngest daughter of a family that catches her beau with her supposedly best friend and then wants nothing to do with men. She goes to a wealthy family to help take care of two children that were dumped by their estranged son. You need to read to find out what happens.
A young, unmarried woman cares for two children believed to be the grandchildren of the couple who employ her. The so called father of the children does not want them but requests his inheritance instead. The woman and the children move to a house that requires restoration in order to avoid the so called father. One thing leads to another, the young woman falls in love and lives happily ever after.
What a lovely and inspiring story of self-less love and sacrifice to ensure a loving a stable life for two unrelated children. I especially enjoyed how the characters learned to be different by Rachael's example. The story sure showcases the evil gossip can bring to bear. It was all resolved in such a righteous manner, it was truly satisfying. A lovely story with a truly satisfying end. Highly recommend this Author's work. Always uplifting and inspiring.
Is not my favorite book by Jean L. Jungle but it was interesting nevertheless. I recommend this author to anyone liking good clean Christian books. This one was just a little heavy handed in my opinion. I will read it again in a few weeks and see if I can upgrade my rating and give a more favorable review.
A brave young woman takes on care of two orphans left adrift by those more concerned about social standing. Rachael is about giving love and stability regardless of pressures. Hal is the one who sees and silently, at first, supports her as allowed. Very compelling story.
It was amazing book it was someone who cared about others more then themselves loved the Lord work hard loved children that were not hers fell in love with a good man and as they the rest is history
