It was just supposed to be a one-night stand. Instamate and babies weren’t on the menu. Gigi’s on a mission. All she has to do is inform Adam he’s going to be a father, listen to him claim zero responsibility, and then she can head back to her lonely life in the city. Too bad his wolf pack has a whole other plan in mind. One night and one night only. That’s what they agreed to. So why is Adam’s one-night stand wandering around pack lands with a ridiculous pink poodle at her side? Even worse, the woman’s conned his entire pack (and his mother!) into adopting the duo. This book was previously published in the anthology, All I Want for Christmas.
Sadly, Pepper was not born a shifter. She dreams of being adopted (or mated) by one, but until such a glorious day arrives, she consoles herself by writing about shifters instead.
Either that, or she really IS a shifter and is just pretending NOT to be a shifter, to protect her people.
Whether the former or the latter is anyone's guess, but either way, she's living her absolute best possible shifter-life.
Though this is the 8th book in this author's Shenanigans series, it’s only the second book I've read. While I have enjoyed both these books overall, the beginning of each is flawed. I feel the author jumps into the middle of the story, not providing fundamental background that would help you understand the characters better and appreciate what comes next. In both books, all it would have taken was one pivotal prologue scene. Once past these somewhat rocky beginnings, though, the books are fantastic. In fact, the other book I read in this series over a year ago is still something I actually think about on occasion, as the story has a delightful twist that still makes me just go, “awwww.”
What I found most enjoyable in this particular book are the female relationships and how the heroine made the hero work to earn her. I loved how the hero's mother treated the heroine as soon as she met her and understood who she was to her son and ultimately to their entire family. She likes her so much that she assists her to understand the workings of an alpha wolf's mind, this help being something even the heroine can't quite believe as it comes across as the woman working against her own son. But she isn't; she just understands him and the male mind of those in her pack. Yes, the hero must work for the heroine—not just her, but also her persnickety dog. I loved how creative he got; there are certainly some “awww” moments in this book as well, and I loved watching it unfold. For the hard-working, loner hero, the heroine is a splash of color in his somewhat rigid world that he didn’t know he needed. I love how the pack's females came to appreciate her so quickly. Needing to belong was a deep need of the heroine. These ladies even supported her, sometimes in opposition to their pack's alpha. Just a lot of fun. Highly recommended.
I received a free digital copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.

Cute Rom-Com. Gina, a shifter Snow Cheetah & Adam an alpha Wolf Shifter have a hook up & Gina gets pregnant. Because they are both scared & have very different lifestyles, neither will admit to it. The attraction is mostly good sex.
Of course, they eventually come together & have an HEA. Easy to read, fun other than I really didn't like Gina's lifestyle & values.
I thought the USA dropped the "dating rules" decades ago........
The book is amusing, & different than the last few, which though I like them, it's nice to have a change.
This is actually a short Novella, & Christmas is only given a peripheral part (fine with me).

This was a fun addition to the series and I loved following Gigi as she put Adam through his paces to earn her forgiveness. He felt a strong connection to Gigi when they had their weekend together in the city but he knew her life was there and his was on pack lands. Well, with the surprise he left behind, Gigi had to track him down to give him the news of his impending fatherhood. Of course, he made things as difficult as possible until he realized she was his mate. Yep, I was fully caught up in the shenanigans of him trying to woo her, and her dog, along with the help of the pack. So entertaining and thankfully, he got his HEA in this humourous reading ride :D
Adam and Gigi are very different animal shifters from very different lifestyles. She is a total city girl with a poodle and he is from a tight pack. Their one night becomes more with a surprise and now his pack wants them both to stay. The characters are fun and spirited, the chemistry is great and there are a lot of entertaining situations. The storyline flows well with plenty of comical banter and moments. A delight to read just before bed. Totally enjoyed this book and hope to read more by this author shortly.

After a weekend spent with Adam, an alpha wolf, Gigi is shocked to learn that she's pregnant. So, she tracks Adam down planning on him rejecting her. She wasn't planning on staying but the pack has other plans.
This has been an excellent series and this book was one of my favorites. It was a quick, fun read that pulled me in from the beginning. I loved Adam and Gigi's story in this humorous paranormal romance. I'm really looking forward to the next book. I highly recommend both book and series which I think is best read in order.
Holiday Shenanigans is a fun fast read that was an amazing escape for the afternoon.
Gigi and Adam have an unexpected weekend together, but when it was up Adam left with a simple "had fun" note. Gigi soon found out that he left her a gift or three she did not ask for and knew he at least needed to know even if he was to reject her.
Good addition to the series, with character that keep you on your toes and warms your heart as you get lost in Gig and Adam's tale.

Gigi is a snow leopard who spends a single weekend with wolf shifter Adam, no strings attached. Unfortunately, she ended up pregnant. She knows that when she tells Adam, he will deny everything, reject her, and she can then go home with no further hassle. But the wolf pack has another plan and she might not like it… or was it exactly what she needed?
This is a short read. This is Gigi and Adam's Christmas Surprise. Whats Adam going to do when his one night shows up in pack lands and they accept her? Why won't he accept their as his mate? What will happen when he finds out about the baby?.

I mean the story is cute with some funny moments but I guess I was expecting more. Also the mention that even though her hair is pink now she's actually a blonde did not win this story any bonus points with me since a blonde female heroine is and probably always will be the most clichéd overdone character description in all of fiction.
Adam is an ass. This ebook is broken and won’t go past page 79, at which point it freezes my ereader. If I try and start from the Thank You page and work back to page 80, it freezes on page 81 which advertises the next book. So basically this book is incomplete.
