I really liked the first book in this duet, but I loved this one. The romance is top notch and Lauren Rowe brings the heat, the humor, and the feels!
This book starts out shortly after the last one left off. I don't want to talk too much about the plot, because I don't want to spoil- especially for those who haven't read the first book- but I absolutely loved the direction this story took. Where I had a few minor issues in the first book, I had zero with this one. It was so great for me.
Adrian Savage. What a man. I loved how much he loved Laila. There is nothing better than a hero who would do anything for his woman, even before she's actually his. Savage has a hard shell, but for those he loves, there is absolutely nothing he won't do. I also adored Laila. She can have a tough exterior at times, she's strong and independent, but she's also soft for Savage. I couldn't get enough of these two together. Their banter, chemistry, and how much they truly cared for one another.
One of my favorite things about this book was the music. I loved being able to listen to the songs as I read. What an experience. And I know for certain I'll be grabbing the audiobooks right away because I imagine these are a dream to listen to!
If you're looking for a fantastic Rockstar romance with some fake dating thrown in, I can't recommend this duet enough. I had so much fun with it. Lauren Rowe outdid herself with this one. Aside from 'Ball Peen Hammer', this is my new favorite from her! 10/10 recommend reading this and falling into love with Savage yourself.

I've sat on my review for a weeks now. Mostly, because I couldn't settle on a rating. Also, because I'm lazy. *blinks sheepishly*
I've been the unfortunate victim of a book slump this past two months. And it's difficult to figure out if you felt indifferent about a book because of your mood at the time, or because the book made you feel that way. Does that even make sense? It did in my head. But I digress.
I fell hard and fast for the hate lust/enemies to lovers vibe between these two. And while I enjoyed this book for the most part, I was also pretty meh about it. The couple did a complete 180 and I found myself getting less and less invested. They went from one antagonizing, hate lust extreme to another where everything is fine and they're suddenly *gasp* talking their issues out *another gasp*
Essentially, the story just felt stretched out. There was barely any conflict, nothing to make me invested. There were some outside things, but mostly it all just smoothly fell into place. This book didn't feel necessary. I think I would have gotten the same satisfaction from it being an extended epilogue. But again, this is coming from a reader going through a slump, so could very well just be a me think. If you like rock stars and enemies to lovers romance, this duet should do the trick nicely.

In this installment, the falling in love part of their story begins thanks to forced proximity and fake dating obligated by a TV program. Except they did everything but fake their romance.
If I wasn’t as invested as I was with this couple I would have dnf this right away when Savage did the only thing Laila told him not to do.
Thankfully he groveled and they both handle the situation like mature people.
Once I got past that, every misunderstanding that happened in the 1st book was cleared out and the swooning began 🥺 they were just so cuteeee and their chemistry 👀
Also the fact that you can experience in real time the 7 original songs they are singing in the book is so nice, made me love the book more.

Words can’t even begin to explain how epic this duet is! I thought I’d seen Lauren’s best work, but these books? They are on a level of their own. The heat, the push and pull and chemistry between Laila and Savage... holy hell..

What a perfect ending to one of the best hate to love romances I've ever read! I can't stress enough how amazing the audiobook to this is. The narrators were perfect. Jacob Morgan's voice fit Savage's personality perfectly and both he and Andi Arndt nailed the humor. (Of course, I miss Lauren Rowe's narration on her books, but Andi is a close second!) Not to mention THE FREAKING MUSIC! I will never get sick of this world. I want every single side character's story.

This is the conclusion of Laila and Savage’s story. It’s pretty good. They run around in circles a little bit once again, but honestly this reads like the last 20% of a book, even though it is as long as an actual book. There is a cute stuff, then the big angst, the resolution, and then what reads, in my opinion, like a super duper long epilogue. So if you enjoy musician romance, with a ton of angst and running in circles, but then a long look at their HFN, then I’d definitely pick this duet up.

this might sound bad, but i don't like reading about happy couples.
I'm not saying that i love a couple that fights all the time, but this book felt like a long epilogue.
since they know are judging this show (basically the voice), i picture them as Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani.

Okay, well, that was kinda awesome! After reading the first half of this duet, I still wasn't completely sold on this couple, but I was intrigued enough by their combustible chemistry to keep reading. And I'm so glad that I did. This installment was everything I hoped it would be - and then some. These two go from volatile to adorable and back again, constantly changing up the dynamic to make for a compelling, highly bingeable read. I absolutely ADORED Savage by the end; he steals the show. This rock star is brought to his knees in a big way, and this half of the story is all kinds of swoony. It's still a pretty intense, HOT read, but there's so much more to it than that.
This picks up right where Falling Out of Hate With You left off, so it's 100% necessary to read that first. While I didn't love everything about that portion of the love story - the love is largely absent - this references so many events from that and reframes them to advance the story. I loved all of the threads that were woven in, and everything that I disliked about that part became essential to making this half great. The focus is primarily on the reality TV show that Savage and Laila are a part of, and the new dynamic between them.
Initially, I still had a few doubts about this. Laila and Savage make the transition from loathe/lust to love in the blink of an eye, but there are still major communication issues between them. They've chosen to ignore the red flags that have popped up along the way. But the author is fully aware of that, and it all comes to a head later on. It's still a mega STEAMY installment, but the focus is on establishing the emotional connection and finally digging deeper. That's without a doubt the best part of the book, and the contrasts between the two parts of the story are striking. If you're in the mood for a wild, sexy, intense ride, then this duet is well worth a read. I received an early copy and am voluntarily leaving a review of this intensely sexy love story.

An awesome conclusion Savage & Laila
This was a really nice story with good people who were finding their way in career, family and love. Savage’s love for his grandma Mimi completely won me over. The sacrifices, how he sings to her etc. He got to me simply with that. Laila and him together was fun, hot and humorous.
Lauren Rowe hit this one out of the park and the whole duet was amazingly written. Just beautiful and I am so glad I tried this author. I’m definitely a fan now.

First, who doesn’t love a good rock star romance? This book follows how the fake relationship between Savage and Laila develops into a real relationship while filming the TV show. Won’t spoil how it ends!
What I adore about this audio is the inclusion of the songs written by the characters. I fully support more authors doing this. It really adds a whole new layer to the audiobook experience. Music is so powerful and helps you feel the emotions the characters may have been going through. Jacob Morgan (Zachary Webber) is one of my favorite male narrators and he always does such a great job. I don’t know what it is about him, but he does a book with banter better than any other male narrator. Andi always does a fantastic job and she killed it as Laila!

okay so i would not recommend reading this duet as two separate entities. To be honest, I kind of view this duet as one 650 page book, instead of two shorter books. i also think the last 100 pages of this one could have been cut out.
that being said, laila and savage were super fun and i loved the playful banter throughout the entire duet. this is definitely not where i would start with lauren rowe books, but if you're a fan of her, i think you'd really like these.

I'm definitely glad that I read this second book in the series....it is so much better.
Circumstances are coming to light and things are clicking into place as far as how Savage and Laila feel about each other. It was nice to have some hope.
And it certainly helps that Savage and Laila are not only working together but living together as well. However, I hated what the show executives tried to do.
The relationship between Savage and Mimi was amazing but some events were too heart breaking!
One of my favorite events was Laila's birthday party...I loved how everyone came together - dancing and singing.
The ending was pretty sweet as well. I was really happy with Savage's growth.
Not to say that everything was amazing...one of the issues I had with the first book is still front and center but at least this one flowed better.
Some of the songs are linked so you can get an idea of how things sound. I always enjoy that. And there is a link for a honeymoon scene if you're interested.

I thought book one was amazing, and it was, but damnnn!! Book two is LIFE! I’m so caught up in these delicious feels.
Savage and Laila 4 LIFE!!
Can I gush about Lauren Rowe for a minute? This duet was the fire I didn’t know that I needed at this moment. I feel like Lauren has upped her A game, and she’s already beyond perfection. When I tell you that no one writes with the humor, fiery lust that turns to passion that turns to love like Lauren does. I feel like I can reach out and touch it’s that electrifying. I also love the fact that LR writes diverse characters in every single book she has written. It always feels good to be able to see myself in my reads because it reflects real life.
Thank you Lauren for being authentically you, always and for being the real deal.
I just found a new book boyfriend spot for Mr. Adrain Savage. He is scrumpdillicious!!

𝖠𝖽𝗋𝗂𝖺𝗇 𝖲𝖺𝗏𝖺𝗀𝖾 just sealed his spot on my book boyfriend list for this year, his's character development in this book is such a great facet to the story. He feels so much you know, and he's willing to change for the better and love that for him. As for 𝖫𝖺𝗂𝗅𝖺 𝖥𝗂𝗍𝗓𝗀𝖾𝗋𝖺𝗅𝖽, I love her characterization from the get-go she's this sassy girl-next-door, sweet, loving heroine, and she doesn't back down when it comes to Adrian no matter what. They're just great together.
I will say though my favourite part/scene in this book are those moments that they bonded over music, and how close Adrian towards Mimi, it truly evokes some emotions and rawness.
I also love that we got to listen to the book playlists, it helps the story become more realistic and genuine.
To conclude I love this book so much, it is hilarious, sweet, hot and emotional at times. I'd had such a great reading experience.

𝗙𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗬𝗼𝘂 is the conclusion to 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙃𝙖𝙩𝙚-𝙇𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝘿𝙪𝙚𝙩, and hands down to this! 𝖠𝖽𝗋𝗂𝖺𝗇 𝖲𝖺𝗏𝖺𝗀𝖾 just sealed his spot on my book boyfriend list for this year, his's character development in this book is such a great facet to the story. He feels so much you know, and he's willing to change for the better and love that for him. As for 𝖫𝖺𝗂𝗅𝖺 𝖥𝗂𝗍𝗓𝗀𝖾𝗋𝖺𝗅𝖽, I love her characterization from the get-go she's this sassy girl-next-door, sweet, loving heroine, and she doesn't back down when it comes to Adrian no matter what. They're just great together.
I will say though my favourite part/scene in this book are those moments that they bonded over music, and how close Adrian towards Mimi, it truly evokes some emotions and rawness.
I also love that we got to listen to the book playlists, it helps the story become more realistic and genuine.
To conclude I love this book so much, it is hilarious, sweet, hot and emotional at times. I'd had such a great reading experience.

This is completely personal preference. I loved Savage and Laila. They had chemistry and steam and were really perfect for each. Seriously, they had some of the best bedroom scenes Rowe has written, and they were adorable together as a couple.
For me, though, they lost that edge of enemies. All the conflict and potential issues feel away so seamlessly. As a reader, I need more conflict, more angst.
The writing is still great, and if you love low conflict, then you’ll fall head over heels with these two.

First of all let me get this out-of-the-way… I wasn’t as blown away In love with Falling Into Love With You as much as I was with Falling Out Of Hate With You….maybe it’s the bad girl in me that loves that push and pull, game playing, cocky alpha, strong heroine with a bitchy attitude that can give it as good as the H can…kinda like the first book.
So what I say next is solely my opinion….Falling into Love With You was…. How can I say this without sounding negative….it was extremely mushy with way to many swoon moments that I kinda got bored with it. 🤷🏻♀️
Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed this book very much, hence the 4 stars and I absolutely still loved the chemistry between Laila and Savage. Again Lauren Rowe didn’t disappoint in that factor, because Laila and Savage sex scenes will melt your panties right off!
I just felt like every chapter was them confessing their unconditional love for each other. It kinda got repetitive.
I also felt like Savage was a different character in this book. What drew me to him in the first place was his cockiness and his confidence. Yes, he does have some insecurities including jealousy Lol but in this book, I felt he was more emotional and less confident and that was a little disappointing to me. Again don’t get me wrong I love a man that can show their emotions, but it just was so drastic from what he was like in the first book…Maybe Lauren Rowe was trying to give her readers some character growth In this book, but since it was in the same timeframe, I really don’t know how much character growth you could give in such a short period of time or maybe she was just showing her readers what Savage is like when he finally does feel emotions.
Either way, I just wasn’t feeling this new and improved Savage in this book.
I guess I was hoping for more of Savage and Laila’s push and pull game playing like we got in Falling Out of Hate With You and as the story continued on we’d gradually see them falling in Love with each other, Instead of the insta-love we got from the get-go.
Overall I enjoyed the book and would definitely still recommend this duet. I think Lauren Rowe did an amazing job with The Hate-Love Duet Story..

What started as an Enemies-to-lovers romance in book 1 Falling Out of Hate with You takes a left turn towards fake relationship romance.
But it's a frustrating kind of love Between two headstrong people, who seem to be perpetually at loggerheads.
You know the kind of angst where you wanna pull at your hair in frustration
Where you wanna jump in the story and just bang their heads together - What is wrong with you guys that you dont see true love?!!!
Yeah, that kind of adamant, rigid love.

Since both are creative people, they tend to be more sensitive and sentimental, hence the misunderstandings that crop up eventually in their forced proximity love.
The story twists around the emotional bends like a pro and quite a few instances had me teary eyed. Lauren has created a hypersensitive hero who follows his heart and it usually runs around like a puppy behind Laila. Obsession is his driving force, so obviously decisions are made from the heart rather than the head here.

Literally anything.
And yet, clearly, no matter what I do, she doesn’t trust me as far as she can throw me. And I don’t understand why.”

This is my first series/book by Lauren and I'm completely blown away by her writing prowess. She writes with finesse and acute perception. I had hard time putting it down and devoured both books. Also the song inserts were Genius. I've been listening to Hate Sex High on a loop, cannot get enough of it.

What can I POSSIBLY say about this compelling and COMPLETELY CAPTIVATING conclusion to Adrian Savage and Laila Fitzgerald's heart-thumping, sexy-as-sin love story??!! These two truly unforgettable characters have become enmeshed in my heart and soul, they are simply PERFECT!!!
In the first part of this duet, Laila and Savage do everything they could possibly do to push each other away, even though the chemistry between them was INSANE! Falling Into Love with You is all about the PULL between them, eventually accepting that chemistry and getting honest about the true emotions that are felt toward one another! But, oh boy, did they give me a run for my money! I felt like a human pretzel, tied up with so many emotions....and the sinful chemistry is AMPED UP TO THE MAX!!!
I think I fell irrevocably in love with Adrian when we get the whole story of his childhood and the events that led to him living with and being loved by Mimi (his good-for-less-than-nothing father's mother). It's no wonder why he is as closed off and untrusting as he is! I ADORED Mimi and the way she loved Adrian! She is the epitome of a loving, caring Grandma and he was very lucky to have her in his life! She is the reason that he eventually lets go and let's himself feel all the emotions and love he feels for Laila. Well, Mimi AND Laila herself! Because Laila is a sweet, yet sassy and feisty woman who I want to be my bestie! She puts the B in Bad@ss!
The journey to Savage and Laila's HEA was a twisty, at times gut-wrenching, at others laugh-out-loud funny, but always entertaining and SEXY one! SAVAGE AND LAILA ARE PERFECT FOR EACH OTHER!!
After reading falling out of hate with you I honestly thought I couldn’t love these two anymore.
I WAS WRONG!
I could definitely love them more!
Savage is the absolute sweetest. Laila is his obsession and more. Savage has become the same to Laila as well.
I loved all the side Character's as well there were many and they added the right amount of entertainment to the book.
There was the right amount of HEA to the HEA! It was just beautiful.
I thoroughly enjoyed Savage and Laila's Duet.

Falling Into Love With You by Lauren Rowe is an absurdly amazing romance. How did the author made this book so perfect? Romance. Drama. Music. Passion. Emotions. Friendship. Love. Angst. Swoon. Absolutely ridiculously utterly mindblowing.
This is the conclusion of the duet and I feel like I can keep talking and praising till I am frothing at my mouth but still it won't be enough. Rockstar playboy Adrian Savage and upcoming singing sensation Laila Fitzgerald had a lust-hate-love kind of dynamics. And now they have to pretend to be in love for sake of the singing reality show where they are both judges. But the line between fake and real is getting blurred too fast. Will all their secrets come out? Will they accept their true feelings?
Savage and Laila both are very passionate characters. They are full of violent emotions. And none is ready to back down from the emotional challenges. And their frictions create the most beautiful feels. Savage is obsessed with Laila. He is crazy for her. But his ego and fear of rejection didn't allow him to be honest and open. When he did..butterflies and fireworks all the way. He has his faults. He is super possessive, reckless, impulsive and hot headed but the way he worships Laila..just WOW. Nothing captures my heart more than an alpha hero with issues and dark edge. He is my Kryptonite. Laila doesn't give in to his mad demands. She stands her ground and I love this girl so hard for her bada$$ attitude. She is fierce and sassy but her heart is so sweet and soft. The combination was deadly for Savage. This couple is just epic. The reality show dramas, the press and all external factors made their journey harder. They had to work out their trust issues and bring the lies out. But their passion, their dedication, their heartfelt love and their undeniable connection shone so brightly. It was super steamy, super angsty and two hundred percent swoony goodness. Also all my favourite musicians and record label owner made an appearance and I live for these reunions.
I basically just devoured Falling Into Love with You by Lauren Rowe. I relished this musical journey. I adore this rockstar romance as I got high on the emotions. The writing captured my heart and soul.

Falling Into Love With You is the second book in the Hate-Love Duet, and is even better than the first book! It’s hard to say too too much without spoiling the first book, but I love Adrian and Laila so much!
Laila is such a strong female heroine, and I absolutely loved her for that. She is not willing to put up with Adrian’s nonsense, and is not afraid to let him know. Adrian is definitely an “alphamellow” hero. He is a strong hero who is used to getting his way. However, he is completely infatuated with Laila just after locking eyes with her for the first time. I loved how he never lost interest in her, and continued to pursue her no matter what obstacles were in their way. Sometimes pursuing her looked like backing off and giving her the space that she needed, but he only ever had eyes for her.
The romance definitely picks up in this second book. We see them falling in love with each other (as the title suggests) instead of hating each other. All of the misunderstandings and lies from the first book are cleared up as well. I absolutely adore this couple, and getting to see several past favorite couples make appearances as well.

3.25 stars because I liked it more than book 1.
So this series took a sharp left turn from 'rockstar romance' to 'reality tv show romance'🧐mid-way through book 1 which I gotta say I did not see coming lol and that was the main plot for the entirety of book 2. I didn't hate it, but that also wasn't what I thought we'd be getting out of this 'rockstar' romance when the duet was first announced. I also didn't love the focus on the money-making side of music and celebrity, it was all just a bit...bleh, but *shrug*
That said I liked this book more. It was cheesy at times, again word choice during sex scenes didn't work for me, but overall I enjoyed this one a little bit more. The timeline was also more cohesive this book which was a big annoyance of mine for book 1. Savage's character was redeemed a bit in this book with the "pretentiousness" I complained about somewhat explained away with good excuses in this book.
I don't have a ton more to say about this book. It was a quick, enjoyable read. I gave it 3 stars because although I didn't find the writing or plot extraordinary I still wanted to read the whole thing and see how it all got wrapped up. Laila and Savage were cute even though they barely felt like real characters lol, the scenes with Savage's grandma made me cry cause I'm a big ole softy and this was honestly such an easy series to devour quickly.

I thought book one was amazing, but then I picked up book two in the series and love it so much that I can't even find a word to capture the epicness that is this book. Falling Into Love With You is Lauren Rowe's best work yet. Savage and Laila have undeniable chemistry that Rowe has carefully created in a way only she can. Laila is probably the most powerful female character I've read. She is strong, harnesses her sexuality in an empowering way, and it leads to a female character that you really fall for. Savage is amazing in his own right and will make you think very...very naughty things when you read this book, but Laila steals the show for me.
It is so important to have strong female characters in the romance world and Rowe has absolutely delivered on that front. Laila is no damsel industries and I truly think it is why Savage wants her so badly. And Savage...well, let's just say that his sexual nature and entire personality will leave you drooling and looking for new panties because yours are going to spontaneously combust!
I want to say so many good things about this book, but I don't want to spoil a single detail about this book. Trust me, just read it. You won't be able to put it down. I know from peraonal experience. Just be prepared to have an epic book hangover because this book is going to ruin you in the best way.
It is so important to have strong female characters in the romance world and Rowe has absolutely delivered on that front. Laila is no damsel industries and I truly think it is why Savage wants her so badly. And Savage...well, let's just say that his sexual nature and entire personality will leave you drooling and looking for new panties because yours are going to spontaneously combust!
I want to say so many good things about this book, but I don't want to spoil a single detail about this book. Trust me, just read it. You won't be able to put it down. I know from peraonal experience. Just be prepared to have an epic book hangover because this book is going to ruin you in the best way.

What a great conclusion to this duet. Once again Lauren Rowe wrote a story that I was absolutely engrossed in from start to finish.
This book picked up where the first one left off and basically started off with the “story” Savage told Laila about his song and moved into their stay in the house and the beginning of their fake relationship. I loved that they really got a chance to get to know each other beyond their initial attraction. Savage began showing all his depth and kind heartedness to Laila right away. I loved the moments with his grandmother and cousin. I loved the way he was willing to sacrifice for Laila. And I just loved his sometimes obsessive, manic drive to fix, understand or express his relationship with her. Basically I loved Savage. That pretty much sums it up.
Laila was actually really funny in this one. Even more so then the previous book. But I was so happy when they finally got to that moment when everything was laid on the table and the big issue from the previous book was resolved. The ending was so sweet and perfect, and the music was excellent.
Overall this was another winner from Lauren Rowe and I am once again looking forward to what she’s going to give us next.

I finished this duet at 1.30am I felt everything and literally had my heart was in my mouth. What an amazing power couple not to be messed with. He may carry the name Savage, but Laila wow!!!!! SAVAGE I love her so much 🤩
I loved her take on things and how strong she was right from the beginning, with some things in the back of her mind that she’s not really to give a voice to yet. Her character is truly fantastic in this duet she is definitely not one to be forgotten ❤️
There were parts of this book that hit me in the feels because they mirrored some of my real life, Savages relationship with his family reminded me of mine with my grandmother, mine was the same to me as Savages is to him and it brought me right back and stirred real emotions in me, which in turn made me fall so much harder for him like I completely understood him 💙
If you’ve read Reed Rivers Trilogy I never thought anyone would take his spot but I can tell you now this power couple are in a league of their own ❣️❣️

These two I don't even know where to start. I don't know who is more stubborn, talented and dang hard headed but there fierce and protective. The chemistry these two have is crazy and they fight it but you can only do it for so long. There journey is smooth but it was so worth it and the ending made it all right.

I've ALWAYS loved when the hero falls harder and deeper than the heroine.. and Savage is that man!! You can't help loving his misunderstanding a$$!! Lol
Savage started off with this quote unquote playboy reputation but deep down, he is a scarred man who doesn’t know how to really think before he reacts, especially when he thinks he’s being reject He genuinely doesn’t understand himself and gets himself in these bad situations trying to redeem himself. But in the mist of all this, he is a man who knows how to love unconditionally. I don’t know about you, but I feel if Reed and Keane were to have a love child, Savage would be him. 😆🥰
Laila definitely is the perfect match for Savage. In book one, she showed us just how strong of a woman she is, sassy to know limit. One who doesn’t take crap from any man. Although let’s face it, her attraction for bad boys isn’t the best, although she thinks. Because honestly falling for Savage didn’t end her up with a broken heart, a few headaches, yes, but no brown heart.
I just have to say get ready for an emotional read. I don’t know how many times I swooned, laughed, because Lauren sure as heck can write good humor, or cried.
This duet is honestly a masterpiece, especially this conclusion. Let’s not forget the music Lauren wrote! Those songs are fire! How many authors can write a book AND write their own music for it. Not many. But I can honestly say no one can top Lauren on this. The lyrics to each song and music are superb!!! She’s a beast! The bottom line is that you have to read this duet. Savage and Laila have taken the crown away from Reed and Georgie for me.
