Part three of this twisted tale of deception. It seems as if Camaiyah has not learned her lesson. Ce'Anna is not much better. Follow their journey as the two stumble through the consequences caused by their shady behavior. Will they come out on top? Or will their actions catch up to them, causing them to be broken all the way down?
Wasn't a fan of Camaiyah's, but she was entertaining, as was the other lead in the story. I was pleased with the ending, although I don't see that with the Camaiyah's I've encountered in real life. However, everyone's response to Camaiyah was what I expected. This book was a page turner.
If you read 1 and 2 in the series number 3 is a Must.. I think it’s a great short series 3 was the icing on the cake.. Truly recommend checking out the series felt like a TV series..
Camaiyah certainly did redeem herself in this story. She had some hard times in this book and that is understandable given her history. Ce'anna's story wasn't very interesting to me but that is because her backstory didnt pique my interest, however, she fit very well into the story and I do encourage you to read her Book. The only reason for 4 stars is I would liked to have seen Camaiyah go through what Ce'anna went through at the end. Otherwise I would still recommend not only this book but the entire series.
Would have been nice to see how things turned out with Camiyah’s journey into cleaning up her act and her new relationship. It seems like the story was more focused on the introduction of the new characters, however it did spark my interest in their story so I will be reading that book as well. Good job, story was short and to the point I finished it in an hour.
Just finished it. Loved it! I was curious where she was going to take Camiyah, but I really enjoyed seeing her face her inner problems. The story is def full of drama, which I love, but it's also very realistic and genuine. Loved the addition of the new character! She is a hot mess! Hot in the pants! But her storyline is not confusing and fits perfectly with the story. Can't wait to see where this whole story goes! I can relate to all of the characters!

Hurt people, hurt people! 🥹 I wondered what the hell was going on with Camaiyah to make her so mean and behave in such a callous fashion. She felt nothing for all the hurt she caused to many, and I was just over her ass! 🤬 Glad that June finally got her lick back and got the happiness she deserved. It took Camiyah forever in a day to get some act right, but she finally did! 👀🤯
This story took me about 2days to read not because I find it hard to read but, because I badly don't want it to end. Tanshia Stewart has this magical writing skill to bring each characters to life through writing and her story always stick with you. This is a good read..a powerful read.
Good book. I’m glad Camaiyah started making positive changes in her life. She wanted everyone to be miserable and unhappy because she’s miserable and insecure about her weight. June deserves happiness.
I found this story to be fun and full of extra surprises packed in a quick read. Coop and June's relationship hopefully will stand the test of time. Ceanna is a total mess. Camaiyah hopefully she can find her own piece of happiness with Rashad. Great job once again Tanisha Stewart
I loved this story! What a great way to end the series. I loved how the author was able to bring out the deep-seeded issues of Camaiyah and how she was able to face them. Glad to see that her character started to put her energy into making her life better. Great read!
I completed this cute series in a day. OMG i loved it SO MUCH better than the Mary Monroe series, and MUCH better than ETHIC. Because the characters are NOT Caricatures of black women or black womenhood. The villian in this series didn't DIE....she GREW! THANK YOU! Something DIFFERENT and positive for US and by US. Camaiyah was a real piece of work. But I understood early on that she was a hurt girl trying to hurt people. We see that in most of the urban fiction literature. I liked learning the reasons why each person participated in the prank on June. But I LOVE that Camaiyah gets to the real BOTTOM of her reasons and hurt. She actually recognized her problems, went to therapy and did what she had to do to apologize to those she had hurt and move on with life. And I LOVE THAT for her! THANK GOODNESS for urban lit that is beyond love interests, and NEEDING a man AT ALL COSTS, and selling drugs and then dying about it. Ugghhh! OVER IT! I like a ratchet story...but not the SAME ratchet story. Just ALL THE, ALL THE TIME!! IMO NOTHING GROWS you up, and GLOWS you up like working out. Like a CONSISTENT workout routine WITH WEIGHTS. You notice how it wasn't until Camaiyah started her exercise classes on a regular basis that she finally figured out what the HELL her problem was. Also she has a REALLY good and supportive family in her Aunt Karen and cousin Coop. I love the nice firm TALKING TO her Aunt gave her at the end of the book. Her Aunt gathered her like a ponytail and she NEEDED it. Because she wasn't a EVIL girl all the way through, like Leah in The Prada Plan...Camai'yah was a HURT girl all the way through. Oh but she RIGHTS her wrongs and grows for the better and we didn't have to suffer through book after book of an arduous and MENTALLY DRAINING trek through the mind of the worst kind of "PickMes" or "Mammies". Someone actually chose THEMSELVES over someone else. A MAN! THANK THE HEAVENS!
I was not a fan of either Caimayiah or Ce'Anna before this as I read A Husband, A Boyfriend and A Sidepiece first (great, quick read by the way) and knew all about her. These two linking up to become friends made me nervous because I was expecting a fire storm but what I read instead was much more rewarding. These women had to see themselves for who they really were and take full responsibility for their actions, which was admirable. Their resolve to conquer their demons and change made them courageous. I enjoyed this series.
This book just like the rest in the series was great. Cam was a very sad case instead of her lookin at her faults she wanted to blame others which she shouldn't had because all this time those same friends she judged so much could have been by her side helping her. Ralph was sweet its great that he got her to see that she was something special and her auntie was a gem as well. Cam definitely needed some guidance and she got it and decided to step up to her faults and do for herself. Great book as always
Camaiyah and Ce'Anna are not what you would consider "good people." Camaiyah was a snake who pretended to be best friends with June for years, all the while secretly despising her and doing hateful and hurtful things behind her back. Ce'Anna wasn't much better. She had a husband who loved her, but she was always trying to get with the next man. They both realize that their actions are not right, but will a wake up call lead to a road of redemption, or is there no hope for these two?
Girl, I was thinking who hurt Camaiyah for her to be so evil and messy? Now, I understand. I finally have a glimpse of this author's writing style, and I enjoyed this series. This is the first time I've read anything by this author and I liked it. I understand she made it right, but that's no reason to treat others the way she did just because she was unhappy with herself. I wasn't expecting this, but I liked it. I'll be reading more.
Camaiyah is something else I swear she needed that whopping she got for the things she did to her friends but I'm glad now she learned her lessons and getting herself back together they way she need to and so is Ce’Anna because she better be glad her man even want her back for what she was doing behind his back they all needed to grown up..can't wait to read more stories
Camaiyah, rather than have used everyone else as a scapegoat, she was her own worst enemy 🤦🏾♀️‼️…Foremost, admit there’s a problem & it’s me! Duah 🤷🏾♀️🥴‼️Help was/is at Camaiyah’s disposal, just ask 🙄🤦🏾♀️‼️Meanwhile, “Betrayed 3: Camaiyah’s Redemption” was necessary process but long overdue. Now, if we can just super glue Ce’Anne’s knees together & simultaneously discourage her from collecting men as a hobby 🥴. She too, should just ask. Therapy is on the way‼️
Ummm…. Though I am happy Camaiyah finally accepted accountability but I think we need a back story on the friendship between June and Camaiyah. A story that gives us insight into how her hatred for June began. I can relate to Camaiyah as a big girl myself but I would never do my friends like she did hers. But I can relate to Camaiyah in how men treated her. This entire series has very relatable characters, there is a June, Ilana and Camaiyah in very friend group.
I don't remember seeing the cuss words not spelled out on the other books but they were in this book heavy. To be honest it's irritating like we are little kids or something. I'm glad that Camaiyah has finally spoke on what her problem with June is. I would love to read more about these characters.
Once again.....love all your books bout to read book 3 I was going to start reading it tonight when I'm n my comfort zone n decided that I will just wait to do that because that's what I enjoy the most my storyline for me n thank you so much for these great reads n do keep them coming GOD BLESS.
Pretty good ending. Hopefully her accepting responsibility for her actions really gets her together. Bitterness always creates other misfortunes and misconduct. Nice short read.
I didn't enjoyed this storyline at all to sow and uninteresting I guess because I went out cause my reading experiences but it was pretty boring band slow
I read all the books in this series which all are good but I which it was combined in one book. I don't like when the authors do this it deters you from reading their books just charge one set price for pete sake. I really prefer the stand alongs.
So shawty was just a jealous fat bitch boo hoo, however I am glad that she has gotten over her damn self and decided to do better with her life and stop being an unnecessary ass hater because she's insecure, that ain't nobody fault but hers and I'm glad she working on that.
I wish Camaiyah recognized sooner than later that she had self esteem issues and got help instead of making everyone’s life h3ll. I like how it ended. I will be moving on to Ce’Anna’s story next bc I just have to know how she ended up in her situation lol.
