Sloth: Seven Deadly Sins Book 5

Rate this book
Sloth. Habitual disinclination to exertion; laziness; indolence. Imagine living a life where you couldn't do the smallest thing without immediate exhaustion. Axel was resigned to that kind of life which for a wolf shifter was detrimental. He couldn't enjoy his pack, or even work the way he was used to. With his possession, even mating the woman he'd promised himself to was impossible. Just as he resigned himself to an endless loop of nothingness, he encountered a beauty of a she wolf who seemed stuck in the same loop that he was. Celestial was trying to find her place in the world, after living away from her true nature for most of her life. Little did she know the world she needed was all wrapped within the mysterious shifter who barely spoke but had a smile that said a million things. They found in each other what was missing in their lives; but what would they do when Axel's ugly past came rearing it's head? How could a demon of Sloth fit in with the other sins dedicated to fighting for and protecting the innocent when he was destined to want to do nothing? Find out in this installment of the Seven Deadly Sins.

3.5 Stars Rounded Up

In the beginning it was a lot to have so many characters going at once but I liked the fact that it took all the attention off of characters I didn’t like.
Ashbel and Kapono are my all time fave!
Axel about to make me punch him in the eye at first and then he became tolerable. I don’t care how Violet acted or was. You don’t just ditch someone for another without communicating with them. Celestial better than me because it could’ve never been me.
Imagine falling for a guy and yall been together for years, but he just doesn’t want to commit to you. Of course you’re a little bitter when you find him cheating because that’s what it was! Idc about the shifter rules!! I’m going to stand beside Violet!!
I have to mention it was the cutest thing for Jagger to feed Xiva while she was breastfeeding!
I enjoyed a little backstory on the sins.
However, it seems like it’s starting to get wash, rinse, and repeat. I’m going to finish the series though. I guess it’s hard to keep this amount of excitement up after 5 books.

Sooo good!

My favorite one yet!

Axel had a big heart, Nobel, brave, and caring. He deserved some happiness but was sacked with sloth, the total antithesis of his true character. He was always down to help, to jump in and save someone, but once sloth got ahold of him he couldn’t even bother.

Sloth, eww he pissed me off how he would strip Axel of his will and energy and paralyze him. I learned that all things are not always what them seemed when it came to this sin. That thang be having a slant!

Celestial was a lone wolf, no friends, no family and no pack. She was even raised around witches. She just wanted to belong and be apart of something. She was inmates too which brought on all kinds of problems for her. She was loyal and willing to love and trust.

What happens when these three worlds collide? No resting on their laurels that’s for sure.

My fav

This is by far my fav out of the rest so far. Unfortunately even with that being the case the errors, grammar, misspelled words, wrong usage of words, etc were HORRIBLE. This is the 5th book in this collection and you would think the editing would be getting better but it’s getting worse. I almost stopped reading because it was as if the author and her editor if she has one didn’t care. I was sooo frustrated and the only reason I finished it is because I’m too invested in the series to stop now. But I probably won’t read anything else by this author after this is over. It’s ridiculous.

Exceptional

As always this author did not disappoint. I can’t wait to see how this series ends. I consumed this book in a day and a half. It was phenomenal and a quick read. My only complaint is the many grammatical & spelling errors. A few times I had to re-read a sentence because of the mistakes just to figure out what the author was trying to say. It’s honestly the only reason I didn’t give this a 5 star rating. But again, this was truly a good book.

GOOD READ

This series is really coming together nicely. Sloth definitely lived up to his name and I loved Axel. He wasn't aggressive but helpful, caring, brave and protective when it came to Celestial. She was the perfect mate for him. I loved how the other sins have come together to comp, ete the mission of finding the other two sins. Can't wait to read about Greed and Gluttony, females who I'm sure will give the males something to talk about.

Love This Book

This was a really great book, minus the typos. The whole series has been great, but I think this one was by far the funniest of them all. Axel and Celestial’s romance is really cute. You have to love the wolfs and their true mate connections. Being in the vicinity of your “one” and just knowing that it’s them. I really loved how the five sins and their mates all bicker like siblings and fight to the death for each other. This is a must read series!

Another One

I’m really enjoying the way this series is unraveling. This is my first by this author so I hope there are many more to keep me entertained! I’m a fan and it’s torture waiting on the next piece of work lol Regardless, she’s got a new follower in me! Sloth was veeeery interesting. Once again, the story was unique and entertaining. Can’t wait to get started on the next book!

Wow

I didn’t think sloth would be a big contributor like the other sins but he definitely surprised me. It’s funny that he didn’t have to grow on me like the other sins because I’m always down for a nap and keeping people 6 feet from me. I can’t wait to see how the other sins story end and how they conquer the demons

Good story

I loved Axel and the love he and Celestial developed for one another. Was glad to see the whole gang come together as the story unfolded as well. Did not like the random typos in the book though. There weren't enough to make me stop reading but there were enough that it became noticeable.

Loving it!

I’m actually loving this Seven Deadly Sins series. There were still a few grammatical errors in this book, but it didn’t take away from the overall book. I enjoyed the banter between the sins and the way that the mates were able to calm them down. Since the next two sins are female, I can’t wait to read them.

Fantastic

As usual the author did a superb job in mixing a love story amongst teaching a lesson. Love & War is always captivating but to include paranormals is definitely a hook for me

It's exciting to see how the host of Sloth was able to get a better look on true mates vs.dealing with someone who he thought was his mate. Sloth had me laughing with his over protective self for chipmunk. Can't wait for the next book

I understand why you took it down. But damn this was good. I' m just in awe how you come up with these stories. Sloth's story had to have been the hardest to write but you did your thing. Celestial was everything Axel and Sloth needed. Can't wait for the last 2.

Oh my goodness! I now do not know what book in this series is my favorite. I love this Axel character. He's caring, always try to do what he can for others, no matter how he may affect him with the sin, Sloth living inside him. Axel

Man Violet pissed me off royally. If I was Axel/Sloth I would have slit her fucking throat. I'm so glad that Celestial and Axel/Sloth meet because baby they were meant for each other.

Another great book

This series is so good. Even with them being a vessel for a demon. They still are so pure. I’m ready for the last two sins.

This was a great read. Sloth wasn't as bad as I thought he would be. I'm glad that other she wolf wasn't his true mate. I didn't like her but celestial is the best.
