CeeCee Morgan grew up knowing several facts about herself - she was worthless, she should never have been born, she was stupid, and she was a waste of space. However, at six, her life changed for the better and she became part of a loving, happy family.
The scars left behind, however, keep her from dating. Determined that she will get every best thing, her best friend researches local tattoo artists until she finds one that can help cover up the past so that CeeCee can have the future she truly deserves.
Callum “Loki” O’Rourke has made a name for himself in the tattoo community. While he’ll do the flash art that folks want, his passion is helping those who are scarred regain their confidence and self-esteem. From burn victims to mastectomy patients, there’s not much he hasn’t seen since he first picked up his tattoo gun. He’s never been affected by a client until she walks into his shop.
Now he’s a man on a mission - to design the best possible tattoo to show what she has come to mean to him during their long sessions while hopefully building a life with her - his earth angel.
But the past that was dead and buried comes roaring back with a vengeance into CeeCee’s life. Will she crumble or will her newfound self-confidence enable her to keep walking tall? And can she handle being enfolded in the family Loki’s made with the Poseidon's Warriors MC?
**This is an MC romance not suitable for anyone under 18 due to steamy love scenes, and child abuse that isn’t fully described, but IS alluded to.**
Lover of words. Author of "perfectly imperfect romance". Since starting this journey in August 2016, I've published eight books, two children's books, and have been part of two different coloring books. In short, I'm fulfilling a lifelong dream and would love to have you join me!
My heart broke as I was reading the start to this one. So glad that Cee Cee met Pasty and her life changed for the better! I also really loved that Cee Cee was ready to cover her scars with a tattoo and what a tattoo it was! It was great to see Cee Cee come to life the more she got tattooed and the more time she spent with Loki. Loki really lifted her up in all the best ways and let her know he was interested in her, while moving at Cee Cee's pace. I knew when she met the other women of the MC, she would fit right in and she did, expanding her friend circle. The ending to this one was great! Loved seeing how easy Cee Cee's life was now, something she deserved.
This is a beautifully written emotionally charged story which had me totally intrigued and hooked throughout. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend for all readers.
So far I enjoyed the first two books in the series, light on the MC but great relationships between the characters. In this book if you didn’t get the few chats in between all the characters I would have forgotten it was an MC book. Don’t get me wrong it’s well written with a storyline that really works and any one who likes romances would enjoy, it just missed a bit for me.
Later on in the series, it's mentioned she has gestational diabetes yet she's constantly eating cake. It's a "joke" and all of a sudden she's ill.... Patsy's right, that's not a joke it's dangerous, and should have not been written like it wasn't.

Cee Cee ...at 6 yrs of age we read to find she had a horrible childhood ... no child should experience due to a rotten mother or father ....which in her case is a mother who should have never been allowed to have children, when so many women would give their right arm , so to speak.. just for the honor to carry a child.... She being cee cee was so lucky to have met Patsy and Momma M,..that fated day, Momma M was a licensed foster parent, and she quickly made sure Cee Cee came to live with her and Patsy. When flash forward to the time Cee Cee is 20 (or early twenties), she wanted to get a tattoo to cover the scars she got from her mother's abuse she endured during childhood. That's how she met Loki, he managed the tattoo shop for the MC. Their relationship was magic ... like the saying foes "love at first sight" :) .
For this read it seems a few mistakes were overlooked during proofing or editing because Bearded dragons have/ need a specific care. Then the birds also do not always speak nor do they always repeat in sentences mainly just a word or two now cockateils(sp) might do or even Parrots..... Right when the main characters began to have something monumental happen, the writer seemed to just skip past that moment without the details. I feel there could have been so much more material to love. ....
The one moment of love that I truly found inspiring was when Loki said >> his tattoo for her would say Loki's Angel and she she said her's would be Cee Cee's Savior.....
This book was wonderfully written, it shares the plight of survival and strength for the woman who sought out resources for herself, something that would grant her a closure, or a way to overcome her doubts and fears ....
Plot didn’t match the book & loads of plot mistakes.
It started off really well, but nothing and I mean nothing, happened! When I read the plot I was guessing who it was from her past that comes back and made her life miserable, I was really disappointed when it fizzled out. A few major plot mistakes; In the last book, Poseidon and Lilli have to move back into the clubhouse. As their house is dangerous, and the council buy it off them. In this book they’re still living in their house, and Poseidon talks about selling it!! At the beginning of the book, Speck is stood talking to Kaya the new tattooist. Then later on he meets her for the first time. A massive build up surrounding Cee Cee’s housemate and it ends with the reader being none the wiser what happened to her. I’m guessing that she’s going to be in another book.
Cee Cee is a sad lonely character, after she was abused by her mother as a child. When she goes to have her scars covered by a tattoo, she meets Loki, the owner and main tattooist. He instantly thinks ‘she’s mine.’ Without knowing anything about her, whether she’s married or not. As they get closer, Cee Cee comes out of her shell and they fall in love.
There’s no excitement or build up in their relationship, no tension or danger, and a lot of unanswered questions. Especially what happened to her housemate!!! 😡 Just boring.
Loki’s Angel is the third book in Darlene Tallman’s Poseidon Warriors MC series. In this book, readers meet CeeCee Morgan and Callum “Loki” O’Rourke. She is a free lance medical transcriptionist. As a child she was abused by her biological mother. Her torso is covered in cigarette burns. She turns to Loki, a renowned tattoo artist to help her cover the scars. They are attracted to each other, however, CeeCee has trust issues. Loki recognizes this and sees her true beauty and strength. She awakens his possessive and protective streaks. Can Loki keep her safe? Will she ever be able to fully trust him? You must read this biker romance to find out.
Yet again, Ms. Tallman penned a fascinating biker romance wherein she shatters the stereotype of the biker world through the interactions of her characters. I enjoy Ms. Tallman’s writing style and the way Ms. Tallman moves her plot through an array of emotions. Readers witness familial love, romantic love, cruelty, betrayal, and healing. Her skill in crafting dialog, both conversational and internal, is outstanding. Her descriptive scenes are vivid and capture the reader’s attention, thus making it a captivating MC romantic read. Way to go, Ms. Tallman!
I want to start by saying I really enjoyed books 1 and 2. Poseidon and Trident getting their HEA amidst the drama was well written and drew me right in to this series and group of men. This MC is slightly different than some of the other MC books as these guys are not 1%.
I liked Loki. I like how loyal and dedicated and strong he is. How he didn't waver on his feelings and went for CeeCee and was determined to help her. CeeCee broke my heart. As a mom myself, reading about child abuse is difficult. I am grateful it was not actively described. CeeCee did not give herself enough credit to her strength and ability to love. The two together work and I would liked more on their chemistry. It didn't feel as hot as the others and felt more like a really good friendship.
The story felt a little lacking with the outside drama and angst, like the first 2 had. There were things mentioned and set up for future books to have that gripping, page turning drama, but felt this was slightly dull. I still enjoyed it and appreciate it set up for more books, but was hoping for more. I am hoping we get more answers and see more of Patsy as I want to know her story too.
Ok I'm gonna be honest here. This book was okayish. The story would have been amazing but.....
Truthfully, I cry at books all the time. If it's sad, I will cry. This book tried to be that but fell so short of the emotion it needed to be a wonderful book. I wanted to feel her pain from the abuse instead she spoke of it with no emotion but the author expected us to believe a group of women were crying about it.
Also, the time line of the book felt off. At one point CeeCee mentioned all the time spent at the clubhouse over the past months getting to know everyone but we didn't see any of that. He finished her tattoo, which he claimed would take a month, and then that comment was made. Maybe I missed something but 🤷♀️
And hello! Your bff, the person who rescued you from your abuser is "off" and has been off for awhile and you don't press her for answers. You don't dig deeper. You just move out so you can get your groove on. Wow your an amazing friend.
I only finished it because I had hope it would get better. It had the potential to be an amazing story but just fell flat for me.

CeeCee Morgan was raised by a Mother who only put herself first and made sure that CeeCee knew she was of no value to her. Years later and saved by her best friend and her Mother, CeeCee has decided to cover up the scars from her past by going to a tattoo artist whose career has been helping others in similar situations with their scars.
Callum "Loki" O'Rourke is awaiting his newest client when CeeCee enters the room and it only takes a moment before he knows she is going to be his. He realizes CeeCee is weary about him but Loki has plans to prove he s worth putting his trust in. Can CeeCee let go of the past to have a start at a new future?
I think this book is the best one in the series so far. I was hooked from the beginning and really liked Loki's character. I am curious to see if there will be a story for CeeCee's best friend Patsy. Terrific series, really enjoying this series thus far.
Darlene has once again have us one heck of an amazing story. I laughed, I cried and I fell in fell in love with Loki and CeeCee. CeeCee had a childhood no child should ever have to endure and her story literally brought me to tears. Thanks to Mamma M she grew into an amazing strong women. Loki is swoon worthy the man literally brought me to my knees with love, care, attention and patience when it came to CeeCee. I loved when he said his tattoo for her would say Loki's Angel and she she said her would be CeeCee's Savior. The birds omg they are a trip. I can't wait to read more of this series it's absolutely amazing.
Loki’s Angel is another hit addition to the PWMC. I’ve been following this series from the start and fall more in love with the PWMC men with every book. Loki and CeeCee are amazing. She’s the soft to his hard and he’s the tough to her gentle. Of course they have the spark at first sight but the way it develops and builds is amazing. I love how the relationship developed and not just a straight jump into love. “the boys” crack me up and oh if the beardies could talk!!! Can’t wait for the next book in the series and to find out what happens with Patsy.
Loki is the Mc's tattooist, and has a special place in his heart for people that need scars covered. and Loki waited a long time to find his "one", and when she walks in shy, nervous snd looking like a scared kitten, he knows he needs to claim her.
Ceecee has felt worthless since she was a baby, neglected by her mother. Ceecee has since grown with the care and love from her best friend and Momma M, but she is longing for some one to see her scars and all.
Loki and Ceecee are perfect for one another and when Ceecee finally let's Loki in their chemistry explodes.
Her mom was a fucking bitch and she sooooo deserves everything she gets in life!! Loki is a awesome tattoo artist and helps people cause of his mom in mind, but when he sees a woman that's been through hell what can he do? What is going on with her best friend/sis? I like how it flows but I feel like he leaves a little bit out. The birds r freaking hilarious!!!! I don't understand about How many babies Trident's old had? At the beginning it says about 1 but yet at beginning of the next book after this 1 it has 2 names like she had twins instead of just 1. I'm disappointed that there's not a part in the book when she delivers and how many, etc.
Wow I really hate what Ceecee endured during her childhood, because of her birth mother, but very glad that she found a bestfriend with Patsy and especially Momma M taking her into their home. It was very cool to know that Loki learned his artistic skills as a tattoo artist because of his mom having a double mastectomy and he's able to beautifully design tattoos to cover up different types of scars. These guys love hard when they find their one and only. Happy reading.
This book is raw, emotional, and really hard to read. What Ceecee went through as a child shouldn't have never happened, in the end she was protected and grew up to become her own person. Ceecee and Loki met for a potential job, while Ceecee is thinking about her tatt, Loki is already falling in love and practically claim Ceecee as his own. Their attraction is instant, you can see the way they're falling for each other, they're adorable and perfect for one another💚🤍💚
This was a better read... but there seemed to be more errors/typo's and proof-reading needed.
Never heard of 'whelps' being used in the context that is was. All I could picture was Patsy covered in very new-born pups.
Colin Farrell not Ferrell...
And what was going on with Patsy? More interested in that than any other part of the story, tbh. I really don't like 'cliffies'... think it's kind of a rip off to the reader unless it is a definite & developed part of the story being told...
I choose this rating because this was actually a pretty good book. I really enjoyed most all of the characters. This was a book of determination, compassion, kindness, believing in your cell, and getting your life back. I enjoyed Loki and CeeCee story. I think they made a really interesting couple. The author did an awesome job with putting these two characters together. I think Loki brought a lot out in CeeCee. This was a pretty great story. I recommend this book to all romance readers.😄
Loki’s Angel is the third book in the Poseidon Warriors MC series written by the talented author Darlene Tallman. This is CeeCee Morgan & Callum "LOKI" O'Rourke deep and emotional romance. She's a free lance medical transcriber and he's a tattoo artist ( and owner of the shop ) that help lots of cancer victims covering their scars. CeeCee aka "Angel" had a very difficult childhood with lots of abuse from her biological mother. Loki helps covering the scars in CeeCee's upper body and they fell in love during the process.
A sweet romance between Loki and Cee Cee. They meet when Cee Cee walks into Loki's tattoo parlour wanting a tattoo to cover up the signs of her childhood abuse.
The story follows their romance as he tries to help her heal mentally as well as designing something special to cover her physically.
The only irritation was the repetitive 'I love you' dialogue. Their conversations were less than interesting. How they got to know about each other is a miracle.
I can’t help but give this story 5 stars too. These guys are incredible with their tats and muscles and bikes. I love it all. With Loki now number 3 on the meet the ol’ ladies list having met his Angel, whom I love more than Lilli and Gia, although they have their bumps and bruises but damn not like CeeCee. No child should ever experience such evil at the hand of their own mother. Knowing that she is a survivor, strong and kind makes her a winner! Thank you for giving me thrills and chills again. You are an awesome writer.
Absolutely in love with this author and the cute fun reads. But I kept cringing at the information for bearded dragons. My bearded dragon was ironically on my chest asleep as I read this book and I really wish it had more accurate information about bearded dragon care. But that’s me being picky….. having said that, I can’t wait for the next book to come out and see the characters develop.
Loki's just met his Angel as she walked into his tattoo parlor. CeeCee had a traumatic childhood and is looking for a tattoo artist to help. Little did she know she'd also find love.
I LOVED Loki and how he helped CeeCee come out of her shell. I can't wait for the next book in this series!
This book is wonderfully written. It draws you in from the start and you get an excellent sense of the pain and trauma the female lead character has and is going threw. What a wonderful third book in the series I highly recommend this author and this series of books.
This series is about love, laughter and family. It is such a warm hearted series that you can’t help but fall in love with this MC. If you haven’t started this series, you need to. Darlene is an excellent storyteller with her wit, love of family and just the right amount of sass. Anxious to continue with this series. Thank you, Darlene ❤️.
Ceecee was always told she was a waste, shouldn't of been born and has been repeatedly abused. Then she met Patsy and they became best friends and Patsy's family saves her, Patsy convince her to to get tattoos to cover her scars. This is when she met Loki who is a tattoo artist Good read
It isn’t often that words like lovely, sweet and delightful can be used to describe an MC book, but this one is all those things. The story is both sad and happy, the characters are sweet and sexy, and I love how Loki’s with his angel. A little damaged bird that he cradles close to his heart and loves completely enough to heal her soul. Love those kind of stories best.
