I grew up in London and now live on its edge, in a village where the sprawl of the city turns into lavender fields and lakes. I live with my husband, son, two suspicious cats and some very ungrateful fish.
I write because I’ve tried very hard to quit, but I don’t seem to be able to.
Sometimes I climb mountains.

I picked this book up for free on a Bookfunnel-giveaway a while back, but haven't really gotten around to reading it because of my whole eye-issue thingy. Then someone pointed out how I can activate TTS on my kindle, and that finally made it possible for me to read this book!

There was a lot of downtime in this book, despite it only being 35 pages long. A lot of doubt and hanging around. I liked the idea of of the magic, but we didn't really get any info other than the whole ''humans lie, so we avoid them'' thing. Which is a good message, to be sure, but I don't think this story really did a good job of delivering it.

It was entertaining enough, though, and I was curious throughout the first half or so of the book. The rest was a little sludgy, for it felt repetitive to me. But I'm considering checking out the author anyway, cause science fiction witches is my jam!

A cute short read. David an Astronaut arrives on Ceres where doing testing he sees a female sitting on a rock. She convinces him to remove his helmet and he sees more than before. It seems it was a glamour and only he can see the reality. What lies in his future. Well worth reading.

An explorer to Mars sees a girl and then the glamour is lifted and he realizes that Earth is prevented from seeing anything non earth. He awakens on his space ship, returning to Earth and is told by the girl that he is being tested for the next fifty years and cannot lie in that time.
