First read by this author and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I love to see what an author does with the “hidden child” trope. Usually, the reason never seems to be good enough. This book really delved into the reason as well as the feelings around it and consequences. It all makes perfect sense!
Diondre was always willing to risk it all for his love Tanisha. Tanisha was willing to sacrifice it all for love Diondre. When two peoples love of each other has them willing to give their life for the other it’s hard to see there may be other options available instead of making decisions with huge consequences. Love this deep cuts deep and wounds deep too. Sometimes there’s no get back from the hurt and pain one can cause. Sometimes there’s forgiveness. I enjoyed this book. Great story of sacrificing for love and living with the repercussions of that sacrifice. Love lost but still there in your heart despite the pain. Hoping to get that old thang back.
Tanisha made a decision that she thought was best for her and her man. Three years later her plans backfired. Then she had to deal with the fallout. Diondre found out his girl lied to him, and took some time to get over Tanisha's decision. The story was emotionally taxing, but it was also realistic. A good read.
Ummmmmm...Tanisha....Ma'am! That was quite the situation that was created and changed the course of not only her life but Diondre and DJ's life as well. The fact that Banks, Books, or whatever her name is made it to the end of the book is crazy cause Sis woulda had to go. A great feel good second chance love story!!
This book took me on a journey of love and how we love other people more then we love ourselves sometimes. Tanisha thought more of Diondre than her self she didn’t want him to stop his dream . But that secret she kept from hurt him more . Let’s talk about it reading the series you will enjoy it
Ms. Virgo Girl is truly talented. I typically don’t like to read books where the female keeps all knowledge of the child to themselves and then expects to be forgive.
I did not like or respect Tanisha, there is never a reason to keep a kid from a parent and she lied horribly to everybody! Her reason was stupid it wasn't a sacrifice, she was complete trash from beginning to the end. I can't get with that at all.
