This is the second of three books. Crazy apocalypse story with some cool monsters doing the damage. I liked this book better than book one. Got to know the characters better, plus more action. Almost didn't come back for book two, but glad I did. The last book should tell us how humanity will survive. Hang on.
I was a bit bored, to be honest. I probably should’ve read the books in order. Being in a reading slump didn’t help either—it just made it harder to get into the story.
But hey, I love dinosaurs. So if you do too, definitely give this series a try!
Good story with good characters. I got kind of dizzy trying to follow all the relationships, but it did not detract from story. Will Otto ever be gone? Will the world ever be the same? Will T-rex and giant monkeys ever really get along? Looking forward to book three cause that Otto got even up to the ISS . And...will Jr and Mark always have that frienemy thing going on?
Very good reading. Not quite what I expected. But really a great book. These books have been so scary that I have had trouble getting to sleep after reading them. However, these books were so good that I had to keep reading them. This author really knows how to keep the reader interested. The monsters are really scary. The author has done a great job researching the different types of dinosaurs. That is what has made the books so incredible. Great job!
Awesome book and story. You will become so involved with the characters you can not wait to see what happens next. Can not for the next book in the series.
3.5. It was definitely better than the first, much more action, but still a lot of dialogue. Gives me more hope for the 3rd since it seems to be picking up. Those freaking Ottos though...I want to stomp them like the Rex does!
