About the author

Jason Cannon is a best-selling author and publisher, as well as an award-winning actor, director, playwright, improviser, and teacher. He has an MFA in Directing, a Masters in Drama, and a quarter-century in professional theatre. As an actor, Jason has portrayed everything from a rapping dinosaur to a robot and from a hitman to Hamlet. He has written plays about J.R.R. Tolkien and Aesop, directed plays about hiccuping dragons and foul-mouthed puppets, and once while improvising he was attacked by a stage light. Jason has been a voracious reader his whole life and dreamt of being a writer even since his story about a tiny hero riding a grasshopper won the Principal's Prize in 4th grade and was taped up on the wall of his school's hallway. I don't reach many thrillers, but this book hooked me. Ghost Light has so many fascinating elements: a great ensemble of characters with mysteries to unravel, page-turning action, and a fascinating backdrop of current events. I recently got to host Jason Cannon for a Lindenwood Book Club event and he is so personable, engaging, intelligent, and funny. I am a lifelong fan and think you will be too after reading his first book in an upcoming series.

This is a fun read. Lots of action with interesting characters. I leered more about acting from this book than my high school acting classes. Very interesting!
