Leaving home is never easy, but for single mum Tabitha, Carnarben is no longer a safe haven. Plagued by memories and smothered by well-meaning meddlers, the witch knows it’s time to start afresh—and where could be safer than Echo, home of the largest werewolf pack in Australia and its sexy Alpha? But a blown secret and a shadow from her past threaten to ruin her new beginning.
A HOT alpha. A badass witch. Scorching love scenes. Guaranteed HEA. No cheating.
Novella length. Previously published in Warlords, Witches and Wolves: A Fantasy Realms Anthology.
Holy moly, this book! There is so much packed into this novella length story that I am absolutely stunned. I love how Tabitha & Jarrad’s story developed. This book has it all, a sexy alpha werewolf, a sassy witch who is very capable to taking care of herself, an evil organization that is after the witches, phenomenal sexy time & so much more.
As I mentioned before, this is a novella so a lot happens in a few pages, but I really loved how SE Welsh balanced the story. Definitely will have to check out book 2 when it comes out later this summer.
Tabitha moves with her daughter to Echo, where she encounters Jarrad, the local hottie - and the local Alpha. He looks after his own. Especially his mate. I had the pleasure of reading this last year in an anthology and I really enjoyed it. I'm always a sucker for witch/werewolf dynamics! And there's a delightful amount of tension in this novella.
A fast paced fated mates tale. The main characters are instantly likeable. Cole the baby wolf protector in the first pages is just super adorable. I love the addition of elemental magic. That definitely brings another layer to the shifter story. The setting is easy to picture, especially as it is my home country and a backdrop i have visited. This little story packs a lot in. Intense with good momentum. Instant chemistry and compelling storytelling. A nice little teaser. I'm definitely hoping for a continuation of this story among the pack in Echo.
Another new author and I am hoping this becomes a series!!! (Tabitha’s twin brother Ryan needs a tale) I loved the spicy, fated mates vibes between Tabitha and Jarrad and their banter had a flirty overtone I couldn’t resist! Tabitha’s daughter Luna was also too cute and sassy as was her new friend Cole... The bad guy had the hair on my arm raising up with his evil stench...All around great story!
I don’t normally care for werewolf shifter romances, but this was definitely the exception and has reKINDLEd (hah) my interest in this particular type. It’s fun, fast and written so well. I fell in love with the characters and the amazing world building so far.
Go ahead and download the other two, because you won’t want to wait a whole two seconds to read more!
this is a really good book I started reading this book and right from the start I can not put it down. I read it all the way through in one setting. it is a sweet steamy romance with an exciting adventure. It has sweet children which I love in a book. This is a really really good book. I gave it five stars I'd give it more but that's all there was. I highly recommend this book

Tabitha is trying to start a new quiet life with her daughter, in what she hopes will be a safe community (surely a pack of werewolves keep their community safe right?!). But when her start gets a little fiery and she has to rescue her daughter and expose her powers the threats from her past may well be on tail. But when the pack's alpha meets her and realises she's his mate, there is no chance to run. Loved this book. Lots of action. Witches, elements and hot alpha werewolves - what's not to love.

Love this. Believable characters. The burn between Tabitha and Jarrad is delicious. And Luna, Tabitha's daughter, is a delight. The story itself is intriguing, and introduces a variety of characters who leave you wanting more. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.
I enjoyed reading this story; it had a good plot, (although it left a bit of a cliff hanger for future books), good characters and lots of action to make it hard to put down. I am looking forward to reading the series that this story started!
She wants a new start in life away from the hurt. He finds her and she is his mate. What a love story this turned out to be. Amazing book with fantastic characters. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Plenty of action throughout
This is a fast paced fated mates. I absolutely loved it. Jarrod and Tabitha are perfect. I loved loved loved that neither fought the pull and I love that Tabitha also didn't fall in line she made him work for it. I am now addicted and can't wait for more.
Tabitha and her daughter left where the coven because of how they were being treated after her husband was killed by the inquisitor. Luna her daughter caused an incident at school didn’t mean to Cole and her had to be rescued, Tabithia had to use her magic. The sheriff and alpha Jarred helped them her mate almost messed up but he admitted she was right. Inquisitor was taken out. Things were looking up for Jarred and Tabitha, Luna and Cole! Great book by a new author!
Tabitha and her daughter move to a new town after a danger arises but will the new town be better with the protection of the pack ?
It's not long before Tabitha meets sheriff Jarrad and the two both understand the differences about each other but when you see your mate that doesn't matter.
Read to find the extent Jarrad will go to keep his mate safe.. will these two have their happily ever after ?
And let's go for mentally and physically more mature characters 👏🏻👏🏻
Fantasy romance Supernatural romance Alpha 🐺 romance
Wow this book is only a novella but it’s chock full of so much goodness with Tabitha a witch and her daughter who leave the coven when her husband is murdered she moves to Australia where she meets the sexy alpha Jarred but I will let you find out the rest for yourself. This is a fantastic novella I loved the characters and I highly recommend this book.
This was ok nothing overly exciting just your basic they meet fall in love then epilogue where she's pregnant. Still trying to get use to another countries slang. The funniest thing was when they were to put ice on daughters ankle it was written as RICE!
Werewolves, witches and the inquisition. What could go wrong? Apparently, everything. This novella packs a LOT into a short read, but I didn’t feel dissatisfied. Actually, just pre-ordered Book 2. Great Book!
It Grabbed My attention and focus so strong I could not put it down. A word of advice when you get your copy. Grab a snack, a comfy seat, kick back and relax. You will not be moving until you finish this bad boy here. Remarkable job. Thanks for sharing.

A fast-paced, action-packed love story, I absolutely devoured this! It’s the perfect novella for anyone looking to take a quick pause from the day-to-day and dip into the world of supernaturals and shifters. Can’t wait to read more!
I will say of all the novella's I have read this one by far has a fast plot and has a lot of story for only 78 pages.
There are personal preferences that I don't particularly care for in this novella primarily being an insta-love trope and common werewolf depiction in books. The depiction just being the writing style portrayed in reference to supernatural power in more of a handle holding approach. The heroine is depicted to be strong and powerful however she still needed saving by a hero in the end so it was just not for me. Please take into account I have read more complex paranormal novels at a young age so everything just being tied in a nice happy go lucky bow isn't particularly my type of book logic anymore.
With my personal preferences aside, the author was able to make use of the pages enough to keep the reader engaged however, it won't stand out as a memorable read for me. I can see how readers who particularly like these tropes would like this book and would recommend it to those individuals.
I enjoyed reading every page of this fantastic book by the talented S.E. Welsh. Shadowed Moon is about a fed-up grieving mother and witch. Determined to get away from the meddlers of her coven, Tabitha moves to a new town to begin a new life for her and her young daughter. Jarred, police superintendent and Alpha of the wolf pack, realises the new teacher in his town is more than what she seems, including she’s his mate. He’s determined to keep his new mate and her daughter safe, and he will do anything necessary to keep them that way. Great characters, storyline, and world-building. A fabulous story to keep you turning the page with the right amount of tension in this witch/wolf novella.
Tabitha, a witch who has lost her husband and has a daughter, moves to a new town. Jarrod, the sheriff of that new town is also the alpha of a wolf pack. They are mates but so different that it takes a bit for the heat to start. The storyline is a great start to a new series, with plenty of drama and surprises. Loved the locale, the romance and the characters - both the main and the townspeople. The ending was perfect. Can not wait for the next book to come out.

I didn't know this author yet, but was pleasantly surprised! The story is about witch Tabitha and her daughter Luna who move to a new town, where she meets werewolf alpha Jarrad (her fated mate). Good story with solid characters, and lots of action and romance. I hope there will be a book about Tabitha's twin brother Ryan!

This is the 3rd book I've read written by S.E. Welsh; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
This is the 1st books of the From the Shadows Series; she has written a good short story. Tabitha is a witch, after her husband is killed she takes off with her daughter to another town where she meets the sherrif Jarrad, he’s the alpha of the wolf pact.

This was intense from the start. Tabitha and her daughter moved into a small town that housed a strong pack of wolves. When the Alpha, Jarrad, meets her he knows she is his. Then the chaos begins. This was so good. Chaos, love and magic all in one book!!!

The first book in the From the Shadows series a well written story that kept me turning pages. Single mum and witch Tabitha, her daughter Luna, and Alpha wolf shifter Jarrad’s story of suspense, drama, danger, evil, twists, turns, a villain, and romance. I want to read the next book. Story about a witch who already has a daughter but lost her husband. She meets an Alpha Wolf that recognizes her as his mate. Unfortunately things are trying to track her down and she has a fight or run and hide to stay alive...she really needs help. Will the Alpha and his pack help her? Read and find out! Pretty entertaining read
I am totally hooked on this story. I loved it from start to finish. I could not put it down. I love stories about shifters and their mates. I need to read more. More from this author and more in this series. Well written.
