Shelley and Ty can't stand each other—or so it seems. But one smart cat sees through them both.
I am Zeno, a highly intelligent (and quite handsome) Persian cat. I am also a worried cat. My person, Tyson, is in bad shape. Ever since his baseball career ended, he’s become grouchy and impossible.
I made a promise to look after him. To keep him from being lonely. But there’s only so much I can do. Tyson’s lost. He needs human companionship.
Shelley, who’s right next door, could be the answer. I’ve seen how he looks at her. Though she clearly doesn’t like him, I’m sure Tyson could change that if he only showed her his kind and caring side. The side I see every day.
It’s going to take all my ingenuity to get these two together. If I succeed, they’ll have happiness and each other. If I fail…
But I won’t fail. I must keep my promise. Even if it takes all my nine lives to do so.
Christie Logan writes sweet romance straight from the heart. She lives in upstate New York with too many pets, too many dust bunnies lurking under the bed, and too many plot bunnies bouncing around in her head. She thinks everyone deserves a happy ending and in her books, everyone gets one.
This is an entertaining story with strong characters both human and cats. The author does a great job developing the story and keeping you reading. Her scenes are painted perfectly and the story moves fluidly. It's well written and is an enjoyable read.

Shelley and Tyson had a previous run-in and can't stand each other, or at least that's how it seems. Tyson has been in a funk since his baseball career ended while Shelley has fallen on difficult times and is house sitting the place next door. Zeno is Tyson's cat, but he did belong to Tyson's grandparents first and he made a promise to look after Tyson. Tyson isn't making that easy, but Zeno is determined and has a plan to get Shelley and Tyson together because he sees beyond their so-called hatred. Will his plan work?
This was the second book in this charming series and I really enjoyed it. The book's well-written with well-rounded characters and a well-thought-out plot. While baseball is a factor, it's not the main one and doesn't take over the story which is great in my opinion as I am not a sports fan. This sweet, fun romance is told by a a few perspectives, but I especially love Zeno's. You just have to love a matchmaking feline! :) The various relationships were honest and done well showing the importance of communication. I was drawn into this engaging tale and kept hooked from beginning to end. I'm actually binge reading the series and have already started the next book. I highly recommend both book and series which I think is best read in order.
Shelley Kaminski is a vet technician who was left with loads of debt by her ex-boyfriend. She's struggling to pay it all off. She meets Tyson "Ty" Garrett at the local school fair when she is the mermaid for the dunk tank and he's the rude guy who keeps buying balls and dunking her. They don't meet under the best of circumstances. Ty was a professional baseball player who's trying to find himself. They meet again when Shelley is housesitting for her friends on their honeymoon and discover they're neighbours. Ty inherited his grandparents' house as well as their cat, Zeno, when his grandmother went into a home and his grandfather passed away. I enjoyed the banter between Shelley and Ty. They slowly get to know each other. He wants to know what makes her tick, and she wants to know if he's more than the rude guy from the previous encounter. I really enjoyed the camaraderie between Zeno and his neighbour Boots. I have two cats and I really enjoyed their interactions. I highly recommend this book. It was an enjoyable read.

I didn't like Ty in the last book when he took his frustrations out on Shelley at the dunk tank. He ends up being Shelley's boss's drunk neighbor. His friend Drew decides Shelley is the perfect person to pay to help Ty clean up his act so he can get a job in sports TV like Drew. I laughed when she went over there with the smoothie and dumped out all his bear. She gives him a reason to change, but when he hears something he doesn't like he turns to alcohol and feeling sorry for himself again. Shelley should have opened up to her boss about her ex stealing money and ruining her credit instead of trying to figure out how to handle it on her own. There are several characters who have too much pride in this book and I'm not referring to the two cats that rule their roosts. Boots and Zeno are hilarious in the way they manipulate their humans to get them to do what they want them to.
This is a cute story line mixing cat and human characters for an interesting outcome. An injury caused Ty to lose his baseball career, and he has had trouble bouncing back from that, despite his cat Zeno’s assistance. Zeno realizes Ty needs human companionship too. Ty and Shelley, first having to overcome a rough start, would be good for each other, so their matchmaking cats entertain us with their efforts to push these two together. Will the humans be attracted to each other at last and ready for a relationship to their mutual benefit? Grab your copy and see what effort it takes keep one’s human healthy and happy!
When I read the description of this book and saw that it had two cats being very important characters in the book, and we could hear what they were thinking and saying to each other, I was not too sure about it, but I decided to give it a chance. I am so glad that I did!! I loved this book. Shelley and Ty had some problems in their lives, and they really needed help, but could that help be each other. Enter two of the best matchmakers ever, Zeno and Boots. The focus of the book is still the humans, but the cats add lots of humor to their story. It is such a wonderful sweet romance that I really enjoyed.
I enjoyed this book and the cats being part of the main characters. It was cute, fun, and romantic. I liked Shellie trying to stand on her own two feet. She has had a rough time, but she has an optimistic nature to her character which I Iiked. I thought it was funny how she met the other main character, Ty at her neice's school carnival and I laughed at how she paid Ty back.
Ty and Shellie were good for each other and the matchmaking cats were funny with their antics to help nudge the two together. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.
Ty is depressed and shows his unfriendly side often, especially to the new neighbor. He needs help and his cat Zero is up for the challenge of bringing him together with Shelley. With the hilarious help of the felines, Ty and Shelley start to see the real side of each other and fall in love. Loved the characters and the storyline, which is fast and fun. Prepare to smile a lot at the antics and situations. Very heartwarming.

What a cute book!! I loved the chapters from the cats points of view.Shelley is housesitting for her friends while they are honeymooning. Ty blew his elbow out playing baseball and lives in his grandparents house he inherited. Shelley and Ty start out as enemies who can’t stand each other. Thought this was a very clever way to tell a story. It sure made me smile.
I was given this advanced copy for free, and am leaving this review voluntarily.
Shelley is house sitting for her friends when she is told by Ty's best friend Drew asks her too help clean him up by taking away his beer and getting him ready for an interview with a sports network will she do it? I suggest reading the book the series is so good and I especially like it because the cats are running the show.

I wasn’t sure what I thought of the story at the start but by the end I was totally hooked! Loved hearing from the Zeno the cat’s point of view as well as the main characters Ty and Shelley - the journey from their unfortunate first meeting until their happy ever after takes time with bumps along the way! Grab this book for all the fun and serious bits...really enjoyable read! Received this as an ARC for my honest opinion.
A sweet and enjoyable romance you'll be glad you added to your reading list. The characters are endearing, fun to get to know and easy to love. How can you not love a book that has kitties doing the matchmaking! It's well written and captures your attention as you follow the characters go from enemies to lovers.

The second book in the Fur-Footed Friends series and it was just as much fun to read as the first one was. Shelley, and Tyson with Zeno the cat who is bound and determined he will keep the promise he made. I enjoyed reading this story, and hope there is more to come in this series. Two cats decide they know more and these humans need help!
He injured his elbow so can no longer play play baseball! Feeling sorry for himself beer becomes a friend! A woman house sitting feels close to him! Romance started by cats! Great book! Animals cause love! Could use more storied! Try these out ! Enjoy these three books!
Shelley and Tyson are definitely two people who need a friend. If they could just set aside their trust issues and have a little faith they might just find that friend. It is always nice when a story has a happy ending especially when they have the help of two smart cats like Boots and Zeno.
This is an adorable small town/contemporary romance. I liked it.. It is cute, sweet and entertaining. Very lovable characters.. I'd love to read more like this..

A Purrfect Promise is the 2nd book in the Fur-Footed Friends series by Christie Logan. This book was as fun and entertaining as the first. I absolutely adored the match-making kitties! Even though it stands perfectly fine on its own, I love that it starts with a scene from Book 1 and we finally learn the reasoning behind that "incident."
Story line is great, and I loved the characters. I really enjoyed reading this book and I would recommend it! Unexpected twists and turns had me reading this book in one sitting. Great storyline and character development made this book a hot and enjoyable read!
Wonderful!!! Enjoyed this story. Very relaxing and likeable, interesting characters. Looking forward to more from this author. Made my day as it took me away from problems and was a fun time with special blessings.
A sweet clean romance and definitely different with the cats having their parts and words. I'm not a cat person so it didn't make me feel all warm & fuzzy. A first read of a story by Christie Logan for me.
I received an ARC from the author through BookFunnel. Shelley and Ty met under strange circumstances, so they certainly didn't have a great first impression. Then they end up as neighbors. I liked how Christie Logan started the story and then took us through their getting to know each other. Some would say they both had hit rock bottom and as we know once you get there, there is no place but up. Thanks to two cats, playing matchmakers, things just might work out for those two. This was an honest book about the way life is sometimes. Sisters who only had each other but didn't realize what the other had been through in life. Shelley and Ty who liked each other but was having trouble communicating. But, once you get to talking about things, then things have a way of righting themselves.
I read an ARC via the author and I'm voluntarily choosing to review it.
Shelley is just coming off from a bad breakup. Ty is not feeling like himself anymore after retiring from baseball. Shelley and Ty are neighbors who don't get along. It's a funny story that involves 2 cats trying to get them together to form a friendship.
