The Call Girl just shows that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover "Envy" is doing what she has to do. Pleasuring men for a living isn't exactly what she planned for her life but when her husband dies and she learns of his secrets it's now up to her to pay his debts by any means necessary.
Being a single mom means the person holding this debt over her head knows he can pull her strings every time he threatens her daughter.
Cris.....you wouldn't think it to look at him but growing up he ran with the wrong crowd, did some things he shouldn't have and almost paid the price but that was years ago and now he's a movie star!
Unbeknownst to them these two past lovers are going to cross paths again and when they collide so many things go down!
The Call Girl is full of lies, betrayal, decit and surprises!

Call Girl
Neither the cover nor the title appealed to me, but I recently rediscovered this author and I'm catching up on what I missed.
Never judge a book by it's cover! This story was sad, touching and good. Never doubt what a woman will sacrifice to save her child. To keep her family safe. Proof that she's stronger than the man who claimed to love her.

Amazing 👏
The story was great and I loved the surprises that were thrown in there. At first I thought I'd be pretty boring and predictable but the story kept my attention the whole way through! On to the next book...
