I graduated from the University of San Diego with a B.A. in English (Emphasis Writing), and I have a Master's Degree in Education. I attended Texas State University where I studied graduate psychology. I also won the prestigious Rupert Hughes Award at the Maui Writers' Conference and First Place at the Southern California Writer’s conference for my one-act play, The Man Next to Me. Most recently, I was one of five finalists for the Brevard Library Foundation's Literary Award for my short story, "Winter Retrieval," now available at Amazon.
For eight years, I taught high school English near Los Angeles.
I currently have several sci-fi novels available at Amazon:
Cosmic Rift,
First Communication,
Battlefield Matrix, and,
Astrocity Sagan.
I have a collection of short stories entitled: Commuter Collection.

Nineteen-year-old June Merk is a 6th generation Martian. Her father George becomes trapped in a lanthanum mine while her stepmom Rona mysteriously disappears. Meanwhile, June discovers several evolutionary enhancements occurring with her quantum-computer processor. When the Earthens invade, can these enhancements save Mars?
