This is Isabella Starlings writing that I have known and fell in love with. Tyrant Twins is a little more on the darker side and taboo with some severe craziness. Half the time, I was sitting on the edge and biting my nails.
After the split of the twins from June, June is lonely and misses her stepbrothers and desperately wants a relationship with them. One brother was her best friend and hoped to have that again, and the other brother she has secretly loved. Both brothers are very reluctant to have a relationship with her also. After a crazy night of drinking, the twins come up with a way to get everything back; each twin keeps from the other their real intention is. This is not a Ménage relationship. Good luck choosing what brother.
I knew going in one brother was crazy. I embrace that. Hell, I love that. Makes for a dramatic storyline. So I boarded the crazy train, but see, here is the thing about crazy trains, they are unpredictable, and man, he is a different level of crazy. He stalked his prey, sat back, watched and plotted every detail, that is dangerous on so many levels as he hides it so well from his loved ones. His twin knew he was off but not like this. God help me, I didn't want to get off the train. And I applaud Isabella for that.
Of course, we can not forget about the sex scenes as always. They are as hot as hell. One of the twins and June, like Damm, the sexual chemistry is off the charts. To me, Tyrant twins is some of Isabella's best work since Peep Show and Pet. Not that I haven’t enjoyed her others, I have, but Tyrant twins is up there for me. But do take the trigger warnings seriously. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did.

This was the first time I have read this author’s work, and I’m glad I gave it a chance. I was hooked from the beginning! It was definitely dark, which is what I was looking for! I eager to continue to the next instalment, although I’m curious how this author is going to redeem Nox… to me he is pure evil… we shall see!

This has to be one of my favorite Isabella Starling reads. The men here are mean, hot, and scene-stealing. It read like a thriller at times. This book kept me on my toes! And oh how I love that first beautiful cover!!!!

June Wildfox used to be family with Kade and Parker Miller. But a tragedy led to complicated circumstances that ripped the family apart. She held on to hope that one day they’d be together again, without realizing the darkness that would potentially plague her life.
June was young, but at times she was too immature for my liking. As for the twins, I should have liked the psycho one much more considering my inclination, but his character wasn’t strong enough to fully shine. I did like the other one for what he stands for.
I may have let him touch me… But there wasn’t one second, one moment while we kissed, that I didn’t wish those hands he touched me with were his brother’s.
This book had all the right factors that would make my dark heart pitter-patter. However, it didn’t capture my attention as much as I wanted it to especially with some of the trivial scenes and the lack of intensity. I did enjoy the depraved sex scenes at least lol! I’m glad this book was not what I originally expected, and it had so much potential if only it was executed better.
Tyrant Twins is a story of revenge and obsession. It would appeal to readers looking for a dark, semi taboo Romance.

I was SO mind blown after reading this but i guess i would classify Tyrant Twins as a dark erotic thriller rather than romance. I found myself attracted to the psychotic behaviour of this particular twin and his twisted obsession for his stepsister. Hiding dark secrets, he planned and plotted everything carefully. His inner monologue gave me chills.
"I watch them leave before getting into my cab, my twin brother's arm protectively draped around my girl's shoulders. And I tell myself it won't be for long. Only a little while left before I claim what's always been mine."
As for the other twin, he had his darkness controlled, being the slightly normal twin but yea there's still some messed up moments.
This book is definitely NOT your usual naughty stepbrother/stepsister trope! It's intense and dark and sometimes fucked up. A plot for revenge quickly escalates into something deadly. The suspense was there as well.
You can't fix crazy. that's my thought after reading. Patiently waiting for the next book. 4 stars!

** Spoilers ahead **
This book is not at all what I thought it would be. It is a psychological-mind feck. This is not a RH-romance story or a story typical of a naughty step-brother trope - no, this book is about one brother's twisted obsession and desire for revenge that goes wrong, another's need for the one thing that he has been denied his whole life, and the stepsister that is the center of all of their fantasies in one way or another who yearns for one brother while the other secretly burns for her.
The storyline of this book really makes no sense to me. The brothers were left out of the inheritance, so June got everything. If June loves them so much, why was she not able to move things around to even the wealth out. That is what would have happened normally if it went to the 3 of them. The author states that it was because the money was all tied up, but then talks about how expensive her clothes are, her trainer, etc. She has years to move portfolios around but nothing happens. The boys remain penniless.
What started as a plot for wealth/revenge turns into to an obsession/psychological twist pretty quickly. The story morphs into one that involves a very disturbing character that reveals an even more twisted past.
June's character is needy and lonely despite all the money she has. All she wants is Kade, though she knows she shouldn't. She basically throws herself at him. When Kade does start to show her interest, she pulls away saying it's wrong. She does this goody-two shoes, back and forth that drives me crazy, but apparently is suppose to make her look innocent . She is a tease and says she always gets what she wants.
Kade thinks he is the bad boy twin. He works hard to support Parker. He has it bad for June and she leads him on a marry chase all the while he thinks he is leading. He is blind to all the bad that Parker can do. He will forgive him anything. It makes him weak and an easy pawn.
Parker hides dark secrets and am even darker side within him all the while people see an easy going artist. He may lead June into believing he is her best friend but he has ulterior motives. He uses everyone one, including his brother. They are all his pawns in the game he is playing to win his prize - his stepsister. He's a psycho.
Kade and June are blinded by family loyalty and the ghosts of the past to see the intrigue and manipulative nature of Parker. He uses their weaknesses against them and each other with such ease like the true psychopath that he is. I don't know if the author meant for their characters to supposedly come off so disgustingly naive or if it was an accidental. When Kade and June forgive Parker for all he has done and they want to help him (all the while Parker is thinking horrible thoughts), I just think WTF is wrong with these people. My momma always said you can't fix crazy, but apparently they don't tell that to rich people because that is what they try to do. It will have you almost pulling your our hair out wondering what will happen next. Of course nothing good.
Overall the book left me with the feeling that the characters lost themselves along the way (a little disgusted too with the flashbacks) and thus made me lose my connection with them. The storyline was overly complicated which emotionally lessened characters instead of strengthened them. Hated all of them in the end.

O!M!G! HOT HOT HOT!!!!! Isabella Starling, I thought I was going to have to sit in an ice bath to cool off, it was so HOT!!!!! Pitch dark, filthy, and HOT... just the way I like them!!! Five stars isn’t enough, but it’s all they give me!!!!

I picked this one because I thought it was a MFM ménage which it turned out not to be. I’m a little disappointed about that part.
I don’t know why these twins where obsessed/in love with the the heroine m, June….she’s as as bland as it gets. And tbh Kade & June are one boring couple although their sex scenes were a little steamy.
The only thing that kept me entertained and glued to this book was Parker’s psycho ass and the only reason for the 3 stars.

Whoa! This was a dark read...the kind of dark Romance which checked all boxes for me: obsession, Forbidden stepsiblings, love-hate relationship, Stalking, and a HEA...
This story revolved around our TWINS and their forbidden step sister June...Both Kade and Patrick have a dark side but one embraced it fully and the others hide it...both of them are obsessed with June...but something is always stopping them from acting on it.
I was so invested in these characters from the Prologue...There was no doubt out of which Twin June is going to end up with but the journey till the end was full of twists and turns which made me change my mind but...I was right in the first place...
Both of them are Dark entities...and June is like a Moth to fire...attracted to them even if death waiting around the corner for her.
As the story progresses...it gets darker and darker ...and the triggers were flowing in with high speed...
The ending was amazing...just what we need...a quiet peace after the storm passes...

Told in multiple POV, the narrative unfolds showing the contrasting dynamics between these characters. As each character is developed, their vulnerabilities leave them exposed and this leads each down a certain path. Filled with animosity and a sexual push/pull, battling for the prize becomes the goal.
In this book, the level of darkness offered many possibilities and I was intrigued to see how far it would go. With a certain character being more intensely established, it left the other two characters to more assumption, and for me, ultimately less connection. That said, I did like the sexual propensities that were explored.
Tyrant Twins is dark romance thriller steeped in revenge and obsession. This book would appeal to those looking for a taboo read.

June, Kade and Parker have always been friends. Well , mostly Parker and June have been. Kade never really seems to like her and only tolerated her for the sake of his brother. June has always loved Kade. Her heart wanted the brother who never gave two shits about her and there was nothing she could do about it. All three of these have been circling each other since their childhood but never found a strong ground. That is until everything gets messed up. June inherits all the money that was supposed to be of the twins too , which leads to the twins hating her and leaving her.
It's been years since she has heard from them , even though she has tried to contact them , they never return the sentiment. Now after Years, Kade is tired of living his life as a poor man when he should have had all the money in the world. Money that his stepsister stole from them. They both comes up with a plan to lure her in and then work something out to get some part of the inheritance. Things go sidehill when his brother wants in too. It has been no secret that both kade and Parker like June. Now it's a battle between the two brother , of who will get June first and keep her too!
There is this thrilling edge to this author's book that automatically makes them one of my top reads! This book was definitely a dark read and there were a few scenes in which I had a hard time wrapping my head around them. The storyline was very very good and there was not a certain part of this story that I did not enjoy! I expected something else from this story but the author definitely shocked me with her idea of plot twist and damn if I didn't love it very much! A definite recommendation to all the dark Romance lovers out there , if you are into second chance and psychological thriller Romance , then this book will be perfect for you!

I was thinking of DNFing this book until Parker, one of the twin brothers, went psycho. If any of the brothers seemed bad, it was Kade. So it was a little bit surprising and I wish I would have pinpointed where it happened in the book for reference.
So it's a dark romance because of Parker. Though it does seem that Kade embraces his dark side at the end of the book too, especially during sex with June.
This isn't a menage novel. It shouldn't have been tagged that.

I should have known from the moment June Wildfox appeared on my doorstep, holding her mother’s hand, that she would end up being my downfall.
Oh boy, I'd be damned! I'm still shocked of how dark and gritty this was. I thought this was gonna be another one of those love triangle plot device between Twin brothers but man! It doesn't even cover the depth of the story. Also you can truly feel the dark atmospheric theme and how the storyline woven twistedly. I have watch SWF and loved it, and this book can be the male version of that, given how intensely and crazy Parker's character was. As for Kade and June ugh! I really wanna knock some senses out of them for overlooking the situation. They're are so trustful to tee. Meanwhile I am sedated now my hunger for darkness has been feed.

This is the worst piece of garbage I ever read and I would love to know how much the author is paying the reviewers who are actually giving it stars. The plot had so much promise and Starling just chucked it, and not even for a half-assed attempt (more like a quarter-assed). To top it off, looks like the crazy brother is getting his own book (sicko stalker) and the main female of that plot is someone who in this book he didn’t give two shits about and carved up, seriously the only appeal that the girl had was that she looks exactly like June. Save the minutes of your time and devote them to another piece, one being worthy of being called a book.

Phew, this book was one dark roller coaster ride! Do not read this book if you don't enjoy dark books, or have triggers.

Tyrant Twins is a twisted story about two Brothers who look at their stepsister in different ways. Kade feels drawn to June but Parker treats her as his "lil sis".

If you have read Isabella Starling before you know that she does dark book and she does them so well she is one of my favorite dark authors. I love that this one is dark, delicious, taboo and ticks off all the boxes that you look for in a dark story. We find in the beginning of the book that June is separated from her stepbrother. She is lonely and misses them and hopes that they can reconnect. One was her very best friend and the other she has been secretly in love with him for a while. However the twins are mad that she inherited money they don't think she should have. After a night of drinking they come up with a plan to get it all back but really don't tell each other their true intentions. This one is a nail biter and will have you one the edge of your seat. You do not want to miss it. I can't say it enough It is amazing and one of the best taboo, dark romances I have read all year.

I’ve only read one book from this author and I really need to read more as I enjoyed this story. A taboo read with June and her stepbrothers had me gripped from start to finish. I couldn’t read this fast enough and ended up staying awake until the early hours as I couldn’t put it down. I’m so looking forward to reading more from this author.

June, Parker & Kades story is much more twisted then I anticipated and I thought it would go one and I was floored when I couldn’t have been more wrong but this story kept me hooked from the very beginning until the very last page!

I LOVED this book! I was on the edge of my seat the entire time I was reading it. Without giving too much away I will just say, I did NOT expect one of those twins to be that CRAZY.
I loved the way June, Parker and Kade were written. I am obsessed with all 3 of their characters! And I absolutely LOVED the ending! Now I see theres a Sicko Stalker book coming and I AM SHOOK! I know who the female character is because she was in this book as a side character but the guy....IT CANT BE HIM...RIGHT???

Like most of Isabella Starling's writing you're expecting to go in one direction and you end up on another planet all together.
Yes, she uses adult situations and themes but she does them in a way that keeps you coming back for more.
I could go into my thoughts and feeling about this book, but in all honesty read it for yourself, make your own opinion about it You won't be disappointed in the very least.

Wow...what did I just read!!
This dark and disturbing story had me on the edge of my seat, THIS is why I love issabellas writing so much.
The twists and turns, the shock factors that shook me to my very core, I just didn't see coming at all, I had my heart in my mouth throughout, I was flipping through pages so fast my, I just couldn't believe it! This was isabella at her best and I absolutely live for it.
What a truly amazing story, and so worth more than 5*

Overall, the storyline was entertaining, although I did skim quite a bit because it felt disjointed and slow in spots. The pacing also felt off. Also, there seemed to be inconsistencies in the story about how the hero felt about the heroine. This is my first book by this author, but I'll probably give her another go.
