The topic of this book is so substantial and important for the era we're in. I see no one around me NOT assosiating themselves with a particular madhhab/sect. Throughout my life, I found this practice...unsettling.
'how are people following a way of a person? how do they know if it's the right one?' Back then, with the little knowledge about sects and what they were and how they came into being (not gonna lie, even today I know little to nothing about the major divisions), I denounced them for myself. I decided I'll only be a follower of Qur'an and Sunnah.
I'm glad I came across this short book. It reiterates my personal view. I hope more people read it and understand where they're wrong.
The pace of book was fine. The thing that I didn't like about it was the constant repitition of the same concept over and over again. This book could've been finished in half the pages it has.
Very insightful, but I do agree with the review which states that points were repeated. With tight editing, this booklet could be condensed to about 30 pages.
