An excellent practical guide to the practical of mindfulness

This book had more practical advice in how to actually practice mindfulness and the specific techniques than Shinzen's 'Science of Enlightenment'. While Shinzen's book spends a lot of time on the theory and benefits of mindfulness, this book from his student goes deeper into the actual process. It answers how to handle the common issues and queries on mindfulness techniques like 'See Hear Feel' and lot of useful content and what to do and what not to do for a more effective practice. Highly recommend it as a useful add-on to Shinzens 'Science of Enlightenment'

Very relatable and easy to read book on meditation.

I love this quote from the book "how you pay attention can have such a profound effect on how you feel". The meditation skills taught in this book helped me to perceive myself and my world in a whole new way, and it has allowed me to make better choices for myself. I enjoyed Julianna's friendly and relatable voice, the clear writing and easy to implement instructions and encouragement! Well worth the read!
