A good story should have a steady, balanced flow of action and breather moments, and a consistent tone.
This story, unfortunately, has nothing like that. Instead it splits into three categories:
1. Skipping over interesting bits to then summarize them and have the only choices be 'how did you feel about this'
2. Lengthy and often verbose parts having the story's momentum screech to a halt to talk about philosophy/religion/esoteric elements of the worldbuilding without going anywhere (this feels like it's making up most of the story)
3. Bits of action that are utterly uneven in tone and pacing. Serious, grim tones/passages are commonly paired with names and events that feel like parody.
And to add to it, the story will bluntly tell you that certain endings are 'non-canon' and that you ought to go back and 'play again to get a canon ending'. Yes, the story goes and scolds you for playing this multiple-choice/multiple-paths game wrong

While I thoroughly enjoyed the first two entries in this series, but this one... it just left me feeling lost more than anything else.
