I was hoping for something easy to read, didn't expect much. But I couldn't continue, it was painful to read it. Just too stupid plot.
Spoiler alert to give you example, how stupid our hero is: our heroine decided to protect her mark, instead of killing her. Best killer agency in the world is after her now, because she killed one of her colleagues, but she is flying to Scotland to see her mother last time in some kind of sanatorium. All people in sanatorium are death? Why to kill every single nurse or patient? Now our heroine enters building anyway, finds her dead mother, there are cables on her with strange box, she comes close, suddenly display pops up and countdown from 10. Luckily, she can clearly see those numbers, so she runs away and whole building is leveled. What our heroine does next? She goes home to London, to her flat. She has doubts, they could wait for her, but she needs her t-shirts, her weapons. All is there, nothing is missing, all weapons in place, only in fridge is head of her passport forger??? Then she runs to hotel, visits internet cafe, logs in to her company site, company is trying to kill her for 2 weeks, but her login still works??? She checks all her killer colleagues, their photos??? Is this facebook??? Checks her boss, location of assassins and their boss??? They probably share calendar with agenda :). Prints it all out in internet cafe.

Acid has been diluted

I made it through the first two books, although it was a struggle. Acid didn’t impress me. For someone who is supposed to be the best female assassin in the world, she was rather inept. Kristi Belcamino does it better with her Queen of Spades series, and DV Berkom with Leane Basso, both have more developed female characters and killers. I just didn’t care about Acid or any of the other characters. (The naming convention of the other killers was borderline ridiculous also). What happened between book 1 and book 2? Acid is dropping everything to go after her former boss at the end of book 1. Someplace in book 2 you find out it didn’t work. That’s kind of a major event. Should’ve had some time spent on it? Not interested in reading anything else about Acid.

Unexpectedly a good read

Books 1-3 were entertaining, fun, and kept you moving. This was not a repeat story line. Absolutely loved Acid. Did not know what to expect but glad I read it. Where is Ceasar? Book 4. The story line does not account for the number of errors in the book.. Loved it anyway.

new author for me

The story started out great but it got long and drawn out with the first book about 15-20 chapters to long and the second book and the 3rd book I got to 88% and had to just quit reading it !! Just a bunch of stuff written over and over again that just got hard to read . I won’t buy the other 3 books in the series as it will be just more of the same !

Action packed to the brim

Enjoyed reading this murderous saga. Couldn't get enough of it and read it into the early hours in more than one session. Could have done with a bit more books though.

Great 1st series

Loved Loved these books. Acid Vanilla is my new heroine...she's gutsy, ballsy and with a hidden heart of gold and sharp witty humor. Will certainly be getting the next series.

Strong female character

Fast moving quick read. Strong female lead. Lots of detail about locations. I’m sure there will be more in the series. I look forward to reading them.
