I'm a sucker for nice photos. This book has plenty. It's got very practical chapters as well such as garden layout, roses, bedding plants,fruit and veg and lawns. Something for everyone. There's also some nice examples from national trust gardens.

Excellent book. Good guides to use in my garden for planting and pruning. Like the addition of National Trust property pages
