Latest Release: HONEY AND HOWLS Coming next: THE FATE OF THE DRAGON
Loved this book! This is the first book in this series that I have read, but I couldn't put it down. It made me laugh out loud many times.
Carter and Violet were relatable, despite the paranormal aspect, and you wanted them to get their HEA. Their families were meddling in the best ways and you felt like you were right there with them in Enigma Falls.
I cannot wait to read the other books in the series, definite re-read material!
This was a fun fast paced read that really had all the emotions you could want, along with the drama, danger and steam to keep you madly flipping pages ;) I loved Violet and Carter together as fated mates, with their banter and fab chemistry, although it wasn't a smooth road for them. It really was quite an exciting story and I can't wait to see how it goes for Savi!
Violet has a lot to think about after her sister drop a bomb about powers & shifters, so see does what she does best buys a place to renovate. Carter's has been sent by his brother to bring Violet back to town & finds out she his mate!
Talk about jumping right in - this story throws you into the deep end right away as the 3 sisters discuss shifters. One now being married to a dragon has to get the other two to understand their lives are now forever different. This story can be a standalone, but the beginning felt pretty obvious that there was a lot that had happened before we joined the story. That feeling left quickly as we dove more into Violet and Carter's story. I loved the instant zing that happened between them when they first touch. They both feel a pull. Carter understands, but Violet is not sure what it is besides Carter checking every one of her boxes. I enjoyed how the story left mating and love separate, something for the couple to develop together over time. I loved the ending - the emotional connection that developed between them along with the banter of the epilogue. They are such a cute couple!
An enjoyable read for shifter fans.
I received an advanced copy of this story and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
Deputy Carter hasn't been happy since a bunch of outsiders entered his territory and started to create problems. He has been assigned to protect a female and she just happens to be his fated mate. Violet doesn't want a relationship not even with this man and his extra masculinity. He seems to take on more than he bargained for with this woman and even his bear doesn't deter her.
This had serious parts and some funny moments with unexpected plot points. I did like this book with our main female unwilling to connect and Carter trying to control his bear that needed to claim what is his. This was an easy romance with enough action to hold my attention. His unconditional adoration was amazing to read and melted the icicles inside. The writing hooked me and I found the whole thing to be exciting.

HEA Standalone, interconnected characters Part of two different series, 1 by same author, the other by different authors *over 18 readers only * Shifter romance 3rd person narration
Trigger warnings Supernatural mind attack Dubious consent to mating bond
Violet is the sister of Jami from book 1. She and Savannah have come to see their sister Jami and learn about their heritage. The triplets didn't expect to find out they were part of a supernatural clan. Carter is a bear shifter, part of the sheriff's department, and apparently, Violet's mate. When his brother sends Carter to bring Violet back to town, she mistakes him for a handyman, and he doesn't correct her. When his brother shows up after they've had a couple of days together, the truth comes out. But now she's rejected his claim of mate, and she's in danger.
Couple of typos, 3rd person to 1st and back issues. But the story was good and got involved quicker than the last book.
This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW of Bearly Dated by Eliza Gayle. This read is part of the Enigma Shifters world. The Raye triplets are back and trouble is hot on their heels. This is Violet and Carter's story. This fast paced quick read is sweet and spicy. (Mature Readers Only Please) With the realization that the triplets may not be completely human comes the question... What Next!?! I love that the focus is mostly on the romance that develops between Carter and Violet and the ramifications of that romance. A fun read that had me laughing and sighing all the way through. Some resolution makes this a great read, but there is still a bit of a set up for the remaining sister...

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is another fast paced love story in the Enigma Shifters series. There could not be two people that are more opposite. Violet is special, as are her sisters. She and Carter are mates but it is just another thing to add to her quickly changing life. Carter is the bear for her and he understands what is going on. He finds her turning things upside down. There is drama and suspense in their story but also some humor, steam and family. I enjoyed their story.

I loved the free spiritness of Violet as much as I loved the clumsy nature of Carter. Throw in she is his fated mate and she believes in love at first sight, everything would be smooth sailing, right? Nope, because he causes some issues but they can’t dwell on them as the bad guys are closing in. Add in some sibling interference on both their parts, and a grumpy dragon-in-law, and things get off-track, side-tracked, and on-track at the wrong times and on less than ideal timelines. It all works out in the end because these two were made for each other!
Another fantastic book from Eliza! I loved Violet and Carter this book had me laughing out loud so much so that I had to read the part to my husband who then in turned laughed out loud! I loved the dynamic between these two and their families, I highly recommend this series and the rest of Eliza’s books she honestly one of my favourite authors especially with COVID it’s been fantastic having a good book to get your teeth into. This series is a good Re-Read series it’s one of my go to series when I am in a book slump
Finding out from her sister Jami that she and her sister Savannah all have powers and that shifters are real has put Violet into shock. Needing to do something to take her mind off of these new shocking details, Violet buys a cabin to remodel and flip. Who applies for the handyman position? Carter, brother of bearclan leader Jax and deputy of Enigma. Sparks fly immediately between Violet and Carter who are then thrown on the rollercoaster of love. Did I mention that their fathers psy clan wants all three sisters for themselves? Read Bearly Dated to find out!
This well written book 3 in The Enigma Shifters Book Series was entertaining with well-thought out scenes, characters, and story. These characters have strong wills, personalities and believable interactions. This story is a standalone, but it picks up after the other stories end. This story has the following: intrigue, twists, turns, adventure, action, love, steam and a HEA. It is a well-paced, engaging shifter book that will keep you hooked from start to finish.

A return to this little town brings with it action, danger, laughter and love. The characters were everything I hoped for! I love how these two came together and managed to rally when it mattered most. With strong personalities, an instant connection, and a HEA that almost didn’t happen the author kept me glued to my seat until the end. This book is a wonderful addition to the series and perfect for a few hours of sheer entertainment. I can’t wait to read all about sister number three.
Another of the triplet sisters comes into her unknown powers and finds her mate. Unfortunately Violet and the remaining triplet are given a crash course by Jami, who found her mate in a previous book. Still not a fan of this shifter world and their archaic attitudes. These are more in seen in action outside of the Enigma Falls clan who are quite good. But all these other clans have power too which makes them dangerous. POV keeps changing tense which is off putting and silly errors annoyed. Read through Kindle Unlimited.
This is a fast moving sweet and steamy romance. Violet hires Carter as a handyman for cabin she's remodeling to sell in the future. Carter, a Deputy Sherriff, was sent there to protect her. HIs bear tells hin that she's his mate and they both have an immediate and sexual attraction to each other. Things get a little complicated when Violet finds out Carter was sent to protect her. Violet gets over her hurt feelings and they do get their happily ever after. There's lots of fun, wonderful characters and easy to read.
Another fantastic book from Eliza! This is the story of Violet and Carter. After her sister drops a bombshell of a "Powers & Shifters" story, she has to come to her senses and so does what she does best. Buy a place to renovate. Carter's has been sent by his brother to get Violet back. to town and it turns out she's his mate! I loved Violet and Carter this book had me laughing out loud. "I voluntarily recieved this book for an honest review"
I love the stories of the people of Enigma. These strong shifters fight for what they believe is right. This is Carter and Violet"s book. As they get to know each other there is a bit of truth hidden from her which causes problems. A psy clan makes their presence known too. I sure hope we get to see Jax find his happy ever after too!!! (Hint, hint.)
Bearly Dated is part of Eliza Gayle's The Enigma Shifters series. The story seems a bit sporadic in its telling. The flow from the last book to this one seems a bit disjointed. The characters are still wonderful and the over all story is good but Violet and Carter's tell just didn't seem to advance the over all storyline as much as expected. Maybe it'll feel more on track with the next book. I hope so.
This is a cute little romance with just a bit of drama. I enjoyed reading it, but it would have been nice to have more detail about the other clans and their capabilities, but hopefully, those will come out in the next book.

Stars above this series just keeps getting better and better. Hotter and hotter. The characters are so real that you want to cheer when things are right and punch someone when they are not. I can’t wait to read the next one and I will go back and read the other series now. Well done.
This story sees the second triplet, Violet, find her mate in bear shifter Carter, a sheriff’s deputy. When he shows up at her cabin and gets mistaken as the handyman - woowee hot hot hot. Plenty of emotion, plenty of heat and some growing intrigue made for a terrific read.
Revelations have Violet reconsidering life as she thought she knew it. Taking on a new project requires some help. When Carter answers the call, a visceral response can't be ignored. I enjoyed this relatively quick read as two dynamic personalities found their path to love.
Stubborn heroine and hero with lustful thoughts. The first half of the book is mostly romance, with some suspense in the second half. Loved Jax kicking up storm (crack!) and taking a stand. Hope he gets a story.
Jami sisters show up and she is trying to explain things and they are not having it. Violet does what she does and leaves. Then the sheriff sends his brother Carter to get Violet.
I really wanted to see if Violet and her sisters powers are cool or just premonitions. Carter almost lost Vi because of her evil clan. I can't wait to see who Savi mates.
This one seemed like things were left out of the story. It was hard to follow at times. I would encourage everyone to give this one a chance. I would encourage you to read the first book before this one, the story might be clearer. I did not read the first book that may have made this one better.
Fun paranormal romance with great main characters with plenty of chemistry and plenty of suspense as well. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
