Wow that ending has me speechless
Sage has been through so much at a young age but she didn't let that break her she pushed through life raising her twins alone. Sage wasn't willing to fall in love until Chance enters her life. Chance has been damaged since his own blood done him dirty and trusting and loving someone isn't in his cards either. Sage and Chance are perfect for each other but that all may change when chance introduces sage to a close friend. That ending has me ready for part 2.💞💞💞💞💞💞

Good Read
This book was good from beginning to end and what a ending. Enjoyed the storyline and these characters. Sage, has endured so much in her young life. What And Who Is Really Real?
Oh my God, Sage didn't get a fair shake growing up, her father was a sick in the head he tried to literally kill her spirit, mentally as well as physically, he had broken her mother down so bad he thought he would continue that with Sage. He almost succeeded but her mom finally got the courage to get away. I must commend Sage though because she could've given up but she fought like hell for her and her boys. Sage was such an emotional mess, she met the second man that was supposed to love her but all he was was a paedophile after he took her innocence got her pregnant he disappeared.
Sage had such trust issues no one could blame her for how she felt, she just didn't feel she was worthy of love, trust, or have a real life for her and her boys. Sage did have her mom, cousin and best friend Sia helped her with keeping her life on track with her job and the boys.
Meeting Sia husband best friend Chance had just gotten out of jail and he wanted a new life, although he did a bid for his stupid brother he was innocent of all charges. They both had trust issues, and neither one wanted to put their feelings out there to get hurt, but it happened and they were building a new life, with trusting someone else, with giving of their hearts, and living.
Chance had no idea he was putting Sage in the face of the devil! Did Ricardo know who Chance was with? Was he trying to break her down again? What is really going on? I pray Chance doesn't go back to jail because I believe he will kill to protect Sage!. Good Read waiting on part 2

Still getting to know Myeisha's work and I'm definitely impressed!! There were a couple of name errors, but it didn't take away from the story. Two people trying to deal with life after being wronged. Sage is doing food at keeping her wall up with men and sacrifices what could be love. Unfortunately he royally fkd that up. Then there's Chance, the young man thrown to the wolves by his big brother. Time in prison has hardened him to an extent, and his trust is very limited. I like the fact things with Sage and Chance happen naturally. Now both their past lives connecting at such a "fragile" time in the relationship, it could possibly be over before it really begins. I hope Sage doesn't revert back to the cold-hearted uncaring person and Chance has her back and strengthens her...lawdy they're both gonna need each other!!

Darn Good!!
Wow! This has been quite a ride from the beginning of this story the very last word. The writer gives is such a.compelling story about two people who have endured so much. Chance and Sage meet under some very trying circumstances and its boom right out the gate. The writer gives us such a laid back kinda chemistry, that we don't know we are already caught in the web. The fact that this couple is straight to the point with one another is so refreshing, because it saves a lot of the childish back and forth. The supporting cast doesn't hold back.either and you enjoy this kind of realness from grown folks. There are some very heavy subjects being dealt with in this story and can be triggers for some,but not to worry the writer handles it just like a champ. This was and is an enjoyable story and on.top of that we get a sexy romance out of the deal.

I understand that Sage may have given mixed signals but then again she told him beforehand what it was and agreed to their arrangement. Then, he put his hand on her and ends up with her cousin. What type of foul ish is that? Idc what no ine says, when you find 'the one' you just know. Im so glad Sage and Chance decided to take a leap of faith. Im really rooting for them and hope it all works out. I just knew Ricardo was them boys' father. Just how he came like a slithering snake in the grass and didn't want Chance to tell Sage. Once its all out in the open, I pray they can get through this. Its about to get crazyyyyyy! Great read

I can already tell by the smirk Ricardo had on his face that he's on some bs and Chance unknowingly looks as if he was in on it. I just hope Sage tells Chance why she reacted the way she did instead of closing herself off to him when he's always shown he had her best interest at heart. Sage seemed as if she and Chance were on the path to healing together and unfortunately Ricardo had to try and throw a wrench in everything. I can only imagine how it'll all play out once everything about Ricardo is revealed. I don't know who was more of a bitch in Sage's life, Ricardo or Rahil. Rahil showed he wasn't worth nothing and Tamila really thought she won. I am waiting for part 2 because I would hate for Ricardo showing up to cause Sage to backtrack.

This is my first time reading a book by this author but I can say I am not disappointed at all. This book was good asf… Omg I just love Chance & Sage together 😍😍 I hope she hears him out before she jump to conclusions. She gotta give Chance a chance to explain that Richardo is his godbrother. She never said the boys father name so she can’t be mad. I hope she don’t. Her cousin was dirty asf what she did to her even tho sage don’t care. It’s the principle of the situation. Sage was dealt an even worse hand. She was physically, mentally, emotionally, and verbally abused by her father up until the age of 15. Only to be used by a sexual predator who used her past pain to his advantage. Tamila and Rahil need a azz whopping. I just know Karma is bout to rain down on them. Now Ricardo playing with fire and he lucky if Chance don't do him like he did Rahil for trying to play games.💕💕

Where should I began! The storyline was great and I just loved how the main characters fell in love and vowed to be everything they needed.. Their were some parts that were duplicated but the delivery was good! I wish we got
some more on the background on The twins sad because I believe he knew what he was doing when he requested that Chance keep the dinner a secret! I really hope Sage doesn’t go back to her old self because she has come to far! Team Us I need the next part.. my first read by this author and I’m please it held my attention!

I thought Sage would never let her guards down but coming across another who is hurt and broken trying to get it together had her wanting to heal and love. Chance has healing to do but him and Safe gpu do believe can help each other while loving each other. I hope she doesn't lock him out because of her last coming back on the scene because Chance didn't know that his God brother is one of the things she has to heal from. Great story can't wait for the next book

It was really good. I felt sage mom should have took her to counseling to get her the help that she deserves an very much needed. Chance definitely should have told sage who they was meeting because now she’s goin to be looking at him sideways but can’t really fault him for not knowing when sage never described him or gave a name. I think her cousin and ol boy been talking and was setting her up. I hope to get a second part to see what happened and how she handles everything.

Great read! Two characters reels ng from hurt and betrayal makes for a great couple scarred and all. Hurt people,hurt people us how you would describe trifling tamila. Ricardo us as slick as they come I think he knew sage was with chance all along. I hope she don't hold it against chance. this is a complex love story from scarred individuals trying to give love a try.

Poor Sage can't seem to catch a break. Rahil was a sheep in wolves clothing, but Chance put something on him and he deserved every punch and kick plus more. As soon as Sage opens herself up to Chance, here comes Ricardo perverted @$$. I can't wait to see how this turns out. I just hope Sage doesn't shut down on Chance because he is definitely bae.

Such a long story but really good
I cant believe that Ricardo Molested Sage and She has boy twins by him and he left the state never seeing his sons. SMDH I know Chance is HOT. I cannot wait to see how this works out but I'm praying they Sage & Change get their business off, get married and Shine ~ Tamila & Rahil lets see what comes of that I dont think its going to be good

I really enjoyed this book! It was crazy how things played out. I couldn’t stand Tamila. She was so dumb and things that came out her mouth made me wish I could slap her myself. I can’t wait to see what happens in book two because that ending has me on edge.

Jaw dropping
This book is hands down can't put it down good. Whew I hate what Sage and her mother went through but glad they are trying to get back to being normal. I can't wait for part 2 to what happens with Sage and the twins father.
