Queen Black and Kelsey ‘Kelz’ Taylor are what everybody consider as, relationship goals. Not only are they deeply in love, but they're a successful power couple as well, that’s turning millions into billions. Yet, there is one question that everyone is dying to know the answer to—why aren’t they married, yet? Being raised as the only girl of the Black siblings, caused Queen brothers to be beyond overprotective. Their strict rules and constant hovering and invading her personal life caused her to make a rash and unthinkable decision in her life. Now she has a secret that she’s been carrying for the last two decades. This secret has the ability to not only blow up her relationship with Kelz, but her family as well. Kelz has another set of problems on his hands. Not only does the women in his life not get alone, but he is undoubtedly loyal to a fault. Being raised by a single mother, Kelz made sure that once he was successful and rich, he never left his family behind. However, his kind gesture is surely taken for granted. Unlike Kelz, Queen is very aware of the vultures that he calls, family, but neither of them is truly aware of how far the women in his family will go when it comes to money—even if it means, running the love of his life away. Charlie had to grow up way before her time. For the first nine years of her life, her mother treated her more like an adult than a child. After being abandon at an after school program, ran by Queen Black, Charlie permanently moved in with her Uncle Kelz. Now, ten years later, her mother, Kimberly, is back and ready to build a relationship with not only Charlie, but Charlie’s little sister as well, Carly. Will the hurt and hatred Charlie has built for her mother over the years cause her to walk away from her, just as she’d done her? In this standalone, you will read about a couple being put to the test. Is their love powerful enough to survive the chaos that’s heading their way? Will Queen and Kelz finally tie the knot, or will secrets and hidden enemies, plotting against them, tear them apart?
Allie Marie you did your thing on this book. Kelz momma and his sister tommi was a hot mess. For karen to not tell kelz that he had a son out there was wrong on so many levels. All she wanted was kelz money. Queen when she said that she was married never saw that coming. Glad that Toni got her self together and happy that Charlie decided to forgive her mother. Dro should have listened to Victoria and his brother and just signed the divorce papers, but his greed for money and thinking that he could get queen back didn’t work out for him. To know that it was kelz that did that to dro was a shocker, I thought that it was one of her brothers. But kelz was good too. The wedding was great and mama Maria had be laughing so hard when she cocked that gun. Great read cannot wait to read more of your books. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 📚📚📚📚📚📚📚 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️all the way through. Love the black family.
I did not like the premise of this book. All her life Queen been keeping secrets about her personal love life due to the overbearingness of her entire family, but this secret took the cake and just ridiculous!
To me waiting a decade to get married is caused for red flags 🚩. I don’t understand why Kelz did not question Queen more on what was the reason she took over ten years to tie the knot. Even her family just met that ish slide SMH.
Also without giving out spoilers Kelz was very selfish in a situation with their personal life, but that’s a choice Queen made and now has to live with it.
The author did Queen dirty IMHO and I felt sad for Queen. Why do men always come out on top? Queen had two opportunities, but it was her choice to throw them away and now she has to live with the consequences. Maybe a miracle may happen IJS.
Thank you Allie Marie for listing the books where the characters came from I must say that Allie Marie is an awesome writer I loved that you can get wrapped up in the storyline and feel the emotions of the characters. Queen was dead wrong for not being truthful to her family and Kelz. Mama Maria is a bad woman. Thanks goodness Karen and Tommi was served by Karma. 10 🌟's
Who would have thought that queen was holding on to a secret that big!!! I’m just happy everything worked out for them, they truly are relationship goal. I’m glad Kelz got rid of the toxic ppl n his life. It’s sad they kept his son from him. I just love a happy ending and I’m glad they got theirs.
I love a hood story line. You should have been let Queen throw hands to the momma and sister! I hate bitter people! Who's 40 and think someone is obligated to take care of them?
Queen is my spirit besfran!!!... She took no static from no one and she stepped up without question for those she loved!!!...I was soooo happy to see her and Kelz finally the the knot!!!...
The ending was good but could’ve been better but over all a good book. Love how kelz became a black before even being married to queen hope for a part two soon.
