"The spirit of man must rule; otherwise, the soul and the body will take over." (Lester Sumrall, Spirit Soul and Body)

The number one thing I took away personally from this book was that in order for you to rule and reign in this life, your spirit must dominate your soul and body, and not the other way around. Some people don't even know they have a spirit! Most teachers and educators in school don't even talk about you being a spirit being! How is this possible? It is and it is the current condition of our world. Why do we deny the spirit within us? Why do many psychologists deny the spirit aspect of a man? What about demon possession? These questions and others are answered in this book.

For the Christian, it is imperative that we understand how to walk and build up the spirit within. Jesus said in Matthew 26:41: "Keep watching and praying that you may not enter into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak."

This is the most complete book I have read so far on the differences between the body, soul and spirit, and it will help you to discern the differences and how each affects each other. There were many interesting topics in this book including your will, imagination, conscience...topics worthy of study!
