The Devil I Love by Jillian Quinn us book 3 in the Devils Knights series and it's a great conclusion to Luca and Alex's story, but I still felt there was things left undone and not completely finished.
Theses were two twisted and broken characters who needed each other but couldn't be together really untill 10 years later but the whole cat and mouse part of their relationship throughout the years was frustrating.
It's dark, disturbing with an extremely strange storyline but it has enough to keep you gripped and needing to know what next...
It can also be a little repetitive thoughout all 3 books, it's definitely worth reading if you want something a little different from you normal dark romance, it's full of secrets, steam and secret society's 📖

This was a great end to the trilogy that is the story of Alex and Luca! I'm happy that Alex and Luca finally got their HEA. I will admit that when I began this series I did not want Alex to end up with Luca as I didn't think he deserved her. Up until this book I wanted her to end up with Marcello or anyone but Luca. Luca did redeem himself in this book and I'm happy he opened his eyes and started treating Alex better. He had many sweet and caring moments in this book and I'm happy he acknowledged how much it would be painful of he lost Alex and how much he loved her and couldn't live without her. In the end the book wrapped up nicely and several key characters got what was coming for them.

I did find that the story was a bit long and could have been one solid good book instead of three. Especially since I'm not a fan of cliffhangers and having to wait for the next book to be released. It's hard to read a series since you forget a lot of the context when you have to wait between books and you've read several other books while waiting.

I can't wait to get to read the books about the other Devil's Knights.

I was soooo excited for the final book after the cliffhanger at the end of book 2... and I was not disappointed!
This kept me in the edge of my seat all the way through, had twists and turns and was just amazing!
Thank you Jillian for such an amazing series and can’t wait to read about the rest of the Knights.

* KU READ

The Devil I Love is the epic and final story between Luca and Alex. We are finally going to get all the answers we have been craving. I will admit Luca to me doesn't redeem himself totally but he does to Alex and that is all that matters. Alex turns herself into the Queen that is needed for the Knights to move forward in the war that is coming. And we find out who is the bad guys.

For a trilogy, I have to say this is one of my favorites. There are so many twists and turns that it will keep you guessing all the way through. Luca is a man that you want to smack and hate all the way until the end. Alex is an unusual female character that you don't have your grasp on until the middle of the second book, and still will be asking questions about until this book. THAT is what makes a great trilogy.

I will be reading more of Jillian Quinn in the future!

This book was amazing. It was the perfect conclusion to Alex and Luca's story because questions were answered, truths were revealed and some new secrets were discovered. This twist and turns in this book will have you on the edge of seat and guessing as to what will happen next. I really can't wait for the next book in this series to come out. Add this book to your TBR list and you won't be disappointed.

Finally...the finale! And it doesn’t disappoint! #TeamLuca

Luca and the Knights are finally able to claim their queen but not without suspense, angst, lies, secrets and family betrayal. But, in the end - “what binds us will destroy us” - and will make the Salvatore family stronger, love.

If you love dark romance this trilogy is for you. It is everything you could wish for in a great read - and more. Although this series was definitely out of my wheelhouse and comfort zone (I normally read sports romances) I loved most of the characters - flawed as they were. And the Knights will always hold a part of me and I have enjoyed every page of these books.

Definitely worth a read!

This is the third and final book in this couple's trilogy and you must start at book one, The Devil I hate and then read through in order. Luca and Alex's story is a dark romance. Please keep in mind it is not for every reader. This series does contain content that could be too much for some, triggers for others or just simply be huge turnoffs for you. So, consider this before you decide to dive in. I'm not going to lie, I ended up with a mixed bag of feelings about it. To start I will say that I thought the storyline was an intense, suspenseful, keep you guessing and keep you on the edge of your seat blend that easily sucked you in and refused to let go. Secrets, tension, drama, twists, angst, suspense, emotion and scorching heat have your eyes fused to the pages and your fingers turning those pages feverishly. My issues stemmed from ultimately ended up really disliking a couple of the characters and some of their actions. I do not want to go into details because of spoilers. I will say that these mixed feelings are do to my own personal likes, feelings and preferences and not really a reflection on the book itself or the author's work. While this was the final piece of Luca and Alex's tale, more standalone books are coming about other characters in this world. I am electing to post a candid review.

The ending of The Devil I Crave about killed me. I was so anxious to get back to this series.

We basically pick up where we left off. Things are a mess with Alex, Luca is beside himself. I myself was super worried for Alex. I was curious about the new dynamic between Alex, Luca, and Marcello and was anxious to see how all that would play out. But it seems what the queen wants the queen gets. Luca changed a lot in this book but I mean that's what love does it turns us into someone new and better.

And she's going to find herself in trouble more than once.

I found the pacing well but I felt that some things just resolved too quickly for me. It was just a tidy little bow. And some things felt slightly unresolved, that being said I'm sure there are more books coming into this series. In the end, I was quite sure whose books would be next and they are typically easy to figure out.

For a person who touts religiously my hate for cliffhangers, I have to say Jillian could not have done these three books any better than she did - even with the dreaded cliffy's!!
Book 3 wrapped up some questions that I desperately needed answers to beautifully. But it wouldn't be a Devil's Knight book if it wasn't filled with even more action & suspense even as the story was winding down. I was firmly on team Luca right from the beginning, and even though Alex made her decision towards the end of book 2 I ended up loving him even more for how he made a conscious effort with his feelings and actions towards her.
Bu I am eternally grateful that there will be many more books to come for this dark world Jillian has created - I honestly cannot wait!! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book

This is the third and final book in the series. You must read The Devil I Hate and The Devil I Crave before this book.

We continue with  Luca and Alex's romance. Luca has realized that he loves Alex, and that he wants to be with her, only her. Luca has realized that when he sees Alex with his brother, Marcello, he knows he will lose her to him if he doesn't tell her his feelings.

We do see more sex with Alex and Luca that in the past books. We also see Alex and her Knights. There are triggers in this book if those are an issue.

Alex wants to be with Luca, but knows that his heart is closed off. Will Alex be able to pry open Luca's heart? Will Luca be able to save Alex from those who kidnapped her? Will Alex be able to find her brother Aiden?

I did receive a free ARC Copy of this book. I am freely leaving an honest review.

It's finally here! The epic conclusion to Alex and Luca's story and what a story it was!

If you haven't read The Devil I Hate and The Devil I Crave stop right there! This is the last book in a trilogy and cannot be read as standalone.

This has been such an intense ride. Alex and Luca's story is one of intense passion and so many twists and turns! Both wounded soles but together can tthey find happiness even in the darkest of times?

Nothing is left unanswered, and I was totally hooked until the very end I just couldn't put it down!

I cannot wait for the next Devil story to be told! If I could give this more than 5 stars I would.

This is the third and final book in this series and like the first two it did not disappoint. It's definitely a 5 star read.

The book kept me on my toes the whole way through and there were so many twists and turns it kept me guessing until near the end. There was plenty of suspense and heart stopping drama, love and of course plenty of steam mixed in.

Readers, you should definitely read all three books one after the other with no gap in between. I can't wait for the next books from Jillian about the other Knights.

I was given this book as an ARC and am voluntarily providing an honest review.

This was my favorite of the three. It was another Rollercoaster ride for sure. I went from worrying that Alex would die to being intrigued about Rhi. I had all the feels during the ceremony and the way Alex and Marcello were together but was still happy to know that she belonged to Luca. It was sad that Arlo died and I was so worried Luca would too. This book just took me through every emotion. I know I really loved a series when I'm sad to let it go. I can't wait to read the other books to catch back up with all these characters. There are so many juicy stories to tell.

I was lucky enough to be chosen for an arc of this book. This is my unbiased review.

Suspence, romance, spectacular sex scenes and plenty of twists. This book has it all. It answers all the questions left open from the previous ones. However.... it leaves it wide open for a new series on the rest of the devils knights.
Its a must read. Make sure to read the devil i hate and the devil crave 1st though. Its a series that will captivate you and leave you with a satisfied smug smile.

The conclusion to the trilogy of Luca and Alexandrea's story and it does not disappoint. Betrayals, revelations, mysteries and rituals all intermix into a dramatic darkness of suspense and family drama. Luca's impassioned desperation is matched by his remorseless emotion. Desire for his Queen leads his actions but will Alex's own journey match the trajectory of the knights? When "what binds them" can destroy them, will their goals align?

The beginning of this book was very climactic and I loved every part of it! However when we got closer to the end it’s like the author just rushed it off. Like we never ended up finding out if the baby is Marcellos or Lucas. And the way the book ends off was just so bleh to me. I don’t know how to explain it but compared to all the beautiful words said in this book the ending could have been better

Boy oh boy was that just something!!!! I have read all of the books previously and did not expect all the twists and turns.

Amazing book and series I look forward to the spin off books of the knights and cannot wait to do a re-read of all 3 books before each one.

I really enjoy the length of the books and they give you so much details and really wrap you in the story.

What a fantastic series. This world that Jillian has created is full of mystery, scandal and sex appeal. She leaves the reader constantly wanting more. While I may want to scream at the heroine many times throughout the book, I must say I have come to appreciate her so much more. The men in her life are sexy devils and I am so excited to hear everyone's stories.

An intriguing, dark, raw, intense, and absolutely captivating end to the Devil's Knights trilogy. From the first book till this one, Luca and Alexandrea embarked on a mysterious and suspenseful journey. This story was filled with lies, drama, and emotions. I enjoyed every single heart palpitating moment of this book.

Seriously, this trilogy is absolutely amazing! Jillian Quinn found the perfect way to end Luca and Alex's part of this series and I couldn't have loved it more. No spoilers here, just a high recommendation to read this series. Their story will grip you and not let go all the way through. I can't wait for the next book!!!

This is the final book in the Trilogy. It was jam packed from start to go. Luca and Drea finally get their happily ever after but not until after a lot of bloodshed. New relationships are revealed, setting it up for other characters in the book to have their stories told. Looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

Book 3 in the trilogy is as intense as the first two. The book is full of secrets and intrigue. It’s steamy and dark. And it’s so very well written that you won’t put it down.
