Keeping Their Baby

Rate this book
She should hate it. She shouldn't put up with it. But being their baby just feels right...Before Sophie met Liz, Charlie, and Josh, she was camping out in the attic of an office building. Now she has a beautiful, strict lawyer mommy, a stern, handsome football star daddy, and a fun-loving, sexy-as-hell doctor uncle. But they spank her bare bottom when she's been naughty...And that's if she's only been a little disobedient... When she's been a truly bad girl, she's sent to bed with her cheeks blushing crimson and her cute backside well-used and sore inside and out.She should run for the hills, if only every stern scolding and every stinging spanking didn't leave her so helplessly, shamefully aroused she ends up begging to be claimed by any and all of them. But with everyone seeming insistent on a future for Sophie that she doesn't want for herself, can she find a way to show them that she can be both the baby they love and a woman they respect?Publisher's Keeping Their Baby is the second entry in the Their Baby series. It includes spankings, sexual scenes, and age play. If such material offends you, please don't buy this book.

I'm not big on sequels. I read "Being Their Baby" when this book came out. I was recommending that book to a friend recently and found I had a hankering to rejoin these characters to see what life had in store for them. I'm so glad I did.

Sophie is eighteen years old. She has been living with Liz (32), Charlie (32) and Josh (29) for about nine months. Charlie and Josh are brothers and Liz was the girl next door when they were growing up. Liz and Charlie are alpha/dominant types, while Josh is a "switch."

The first book explores Liz and Sophie's workplace relationship. Sophie moves into Liz's home, and their relationship evolves to encompass Liz's two housemates.

This book opens with Sophie's first experience of a "lifestyle" party. She isn't ready, there are consent issues, and the outing ends traumatically. In the aftermath, Sophie begins to question her lack of control over her life as her submissive role during "play" has expanded to take over her whole life. She loves her "Mommy," "Daddy," and "Uncle Josh," but she is not comfortable with their plans for her education and future career.

And so the stage is set for change. In true rom-com style, everything falls apart, giving everyone an opportunity for some self-examination and personal growth before returning as a stronger "pack" for their expected and deserved HEA.

Along the way, there are plentiful steamy scenes between all four pack members—though not directly between Charlie and Josh. As with the first book, some of the ageplay and medical play kink push my limits, but it is well-written and never impeded my enjoyment of the story.

If you haven't read "Being Their Baby," you should do so before starting this book.

I think this is a story that I bought in 2013. I bought both books back then and now it comes out again with a different cover. I still love the story but I didn't see anything that stated that this was a new cover of the same story that I already had and read. It's still a good story. I love how Sophie is trying to find the perfect balance of where she fits in the family dynamics. She makes mistakes, but there are always consequences that she need to grow and learn. I love how Liz, Charlie and Josh are always there guiding their little girl towards the woman she's meant to be. Such a fun, enjoyable story with a great family dynamics. Triggers but good

The beginning of this story had some triggers for me that made it hard to go on but glad I did. Happy to see this relationship dynamic depicted as difficult with many speed bumps and the importance of communication. Great series.

Sophie’s still coming to terms with her relationship to the trio, but when they push too hard, Sophie runs as she knows she needs to first figure out what she wants to do with her life before she can focus on what everyone else wants from her. When Charlie runs into her, can he convince her to give them another chance and can Sophie convince Josh to give her another chance?

missing a lot of important key elements

This is my first time reviewing a book. I like D&S books but this one was missing a lot of the important parts of those relationships that is consent and a safe word. Why wasn’t she given the option of one why didn’t they talk to her about being in that type of relationship and how she wanted it to be? She was in a scene 24/7 and voiced that she wasn’t being treated like an equal but they ignored her and kept playing on her being innocent and lacking the knowledge of the scene. This book and the previous would’ve been so much better if they’d listened to her. She didn’t want to have anal they forced that on her wouldn’t listen to her concerns and wants only did what pleases them.

Wow

I had been waiting for this story since I first read the first book. It was worth the wait. There were some rough parts to this, and I really wanted to kick Charlie in his bad shoulder more than once. Josh was the only one who saw things clearly, and I really felt how he felt.

Threw in the towel.

I didn’t love or hate this. It just kinda dragged for me. If it’s your jam it’s well written and develops the characters well. Interesting, just too slow for me.

I didn’t realize how much I missed this group of people until I read them again. Tho I didn’t love this one as much as the first one and I didn’t really like how their dynamic changed I understood why Sophie needed the change.
There wasn’t as much spice and filth as the the first one and the middle of this was a little bland while Sophie was trying to figure out what she wanted.
I also didn’t like how Charlie sort of came off like the villain in this one like he was mostly just nagging Sophie all the time with rules where as the first one he had his rules but u could clearly tell he loved Sophie this one not so much, he was sloppy with after care he didn’t listen to her at all and even when the break up happened (which it needed to happen cuz he was a dick the hole time) there was barely any grovel for how he treated her. Which was so sad to me cuz Charlie was my favourite character from the previous book.
I also didn’t like how Liz and Charlie were basically written out of the story they were in the beginning and then the end but basically non existent in the middle and that sucked cuz I thought they were the main characters in the first one and when Josh sort of took over the relationship I really missed the way it was before (as much as I love Josh I really missed Charlie and Liz) I really thought this was going to go in a “the 3 of them come together to get their little back” sort of situation but it kinda turned into everyone go their own way and Josh can take over for everyone and that was sad for me, even tho I sort of understood it because of how Liz and Charlie treated Sophie.

On a more positive note the areas where there was spice was done perfectly and just as filthy as I remembered 😏 and I would go to war for Charlie’s filthy mouth 🔥

I don't ever leave reviews but these two books irked me so much i had to.

I don't even know where to start honestly. For one, sure i like a big age gap but the fact that she's still in highschool? That's such an odd choice.

This book just also feels so dangerous for someone who wants to explore a more dom/sub dynamic and this is one of their first introductions to it. There's really no safe words, and the lack of real aftercare bothered me a bunch.

Like they took her to a kinky party, did not tell her that it was that kind of party and people would be trying to touch her. AND DID NOT TELL HER ABOUT SAFE WORDS. They just left her alone at the party to fend for herself and be beaten and have no clue what's going on.

As well as I truly hate the way sophie's character was written in both books, i understand being a brat but she was insufferable and never took accountability for her actions and literally never would grow as a character.

I also hated that liz and sophie were such a back burner couple, it felt like the hetero relationship got all the attention and liz was only there for sophie so she could punish her. Which is so odd considering liz wanted to be with her so bad, which reminds me the author wrote that liz wanted sophie since she was underaged which is WEIRD.

I'm all for kinky books but this was just awful representation and weird predatory behavior.

At the end of the first book, Being Their Baby I was happy with the ending and satisfied with its conclusion. I didn't have the feeling that there was any cliffhanger or a burning need for the story to continue. Having said that, when I saw that Korey had written this follow up I was really excited to read it. It was like getting to visit with friends you didn't know you missed.

I truly enjoyed this book. I have read all manner of age-play books and this looks on the surface like a carefree fluffy story and while I also enjoy that type of plot this is definitely not it. It is not angsty and heavy but not light and fluffy either - it's got a well developed plot, character progression and it really feels like this is something that could happen to real people living a poly lifestyle and the growing pains of loving and living together. I especially liked that the story dealt with issues you don't often see in this genre, namely what happens when desires outside of the 24/7 age-play lifestyle intrude and how to balance "Big Sophia" and "Little Sophie" - from everyone's perspective.

Korey Mae is a very talented writer and if you like age-play with a plot that's a tad more serious (but no pain and angst) I think you'll really like this book. Again I think this story feels concluded (but I could be wrong) but I'd be overjoyed if she wrote more books in this vein.

Keeping Their Baby is the witty, emotional, authentic and hard to put down follow up to Being Their Baby, which first came out years ago. It is extremely well written, with a flowing dialogue, which makes it easy to read, a well building and well executed plot that develops naturally and fleshed out, strong and well rounded characters with a fantastic familial dynamic.
The age play is heavy, and though extremely hot, elements of it pushed my boundaries a couple of times.
This book is sweet, at times humorous and deep at the same time. It will make you angry and frustrated and it will make you smile and laugh, because the author has done so well a job that you’ll feel the characters, especially Sophie, as she struggles with finding and establishing her place in the family without loosing herself. Serious mistakes are made and what needs to happen does, but the ending is happy and extremely satisfying.
I loved this book in spite of normally not being into age play this heavy. I very much recommend it!

This book continues the story of Sophie, Josh, Liz and Charlie. They live the ageplay lifestyle. Liz and Charlie are Sophie's mommy and daddy and Josh fluctuates between Uncle Josh and boyfriend. Sophie basks in the attention that she receives, but Charlie and Liz start to take things past a line that Sophie didn't realize she had. They are planning a future for Sophie that she doesn't want. She isn't sure how she is going to express her need to plan her own future, but she will. This ends in a HEA for everyone. If you are uncomfortable with ageplay, diapers, spanking, etc, please don't buy this book and then leave a bad review.

This is an age play, multi-person romance that I quite enjoyed. If you have not read the first story, this one would be challenging to understand, at least at first since Liz and Sophie meet in the first story and she brings her home where she lives with Josh and Charlie. The intricacies of the relationships is set up in the first story as well. This story starts after they have been living the lifestyle for 9 months. I found the writing well done except during the party and the twists ands turns during the party chapter did not make sense to me until after reading through it twice.

I never clicked so fast for a book before

I can't even begin to decribe how happy I was when I saw this book. The first book being theit baby is one of my alltime favorite books, both within the AP/ddlg genre and out. In this book we pick up the story a few weeks/months after the first book ended, and we follow Sophie, Liz, Charlie and Josh on a rollercoster of ups and downs, forgivenes and growth. We were also shown a bit more of Josh and Liz's relationship.

This book for me was one that i wish never ended but i couldn't read it fast enough.

so sweet

I’m so proud of Sophie she stood up for herself. It having a sense of stability and maturity into the story line. After Sophie making that big decision those sweet moment were to die for. I wish we got more moment like the one in Liz offices. I wish I got to see more Liz and Sophie moments that didn’t involve spanking. This book did fill gaps because in the first book I didn’t think they loved Sophie only Josh but I see in this book a major difference

.

As with the first book in this series I struggled with aspects of this book.

Sophia’s wants and safety were regularly ignored. Sex was used as a punishment and consent was dubious at times not to mention taking her to a party and leaving her alone when she was inexperienced and out of her depth which did end with her getting hurt.

There were a lot of emotional parts in this book and I was happy with the ending but not sure I’d rush to read it again.

Only OK

I am not sure what it was that I did not like about this book. I enjoyed most of it but I just didn't like the female lead, I liked everyone else but she just annoyed me. Generally well written and many will like it.

Really enjoyed finding what happened next to Sophia, Josh, Liz and Charlie. Their relationship was ever changing as the demands life goes on. I loved how Sophia realised what she needed and did it for herself. Self discovery, emotional and beautiful to read.

Really good story telling

This isn't my kind of thing. I don't get this kind of relationship however the storytelling and character development is so spot on that whether or not you get on board you can still feel for these characters. Way to go Korey at telling a very heartwarming story.

So I devoured this right after reading the first book. In this one, there is still the age play dynamic, but Sophie also gets more stronger and confident as a person. I thought it ended well and loved this book!

They messed up and she runs away. I get why she left but I hate how long it took for them to fix it and even when they fixed it they did it in a terrible way. So disappointing I thought this would be an improvement on book 1 but it was not

I almost didn't continue after the first chapter as the irresponsibility of her caretakers was horrible but I had to find out how they made up for it...
