After three pregnant patients go missing after last being seen at Dr. Marsh's OB-GYN office, he becomes a prime suspect in the missing person cases. Dr. Marsh prides himself on being an upstanding citizen. Not only does he donate time and money to several charities, he is also a caring doctor. Is he a nice person? Or is he as evil as the police suspect?
EXTREME HORROR: There are multiple scenes of violence, blood, gore, and torture. Most of the torture is against a pregnant woman, being held captive against her will.

I need a moment to gather my thoughts for this one. For a short read it packs a powerful punch in extreme horror. At first I was saying this is not that bad, then the last two chapters happened. Cue surprised pikachu face. I loved how the killer was the last person you suspected in the whole dang book. Excellent, bloody read.
This was a gritty, horrific, gory read. But I thoroughly enjoyed it. It made me squirm at the thought of what was happening in the laIr. I was surprised at the end and shocked. Which made for an even better read. Nothing g surprises me with this author, she has a fascinating imagination and I love how she puts a story together. This is definitely for the extreme horror readers due to the contents and what the story evolved around. But a fascinating story and 1 is definitely recommend.
Wow, I couldn't put this down. It was very detailed and a wild ride the whole way through. I definitely didn't expect the ending. I will definitely be reading more books by Sea Caummisar!
Wow this book is brutal. Pregnant women go missing and an obgyn dr basically gets pinned for the murders. This was super twisted and disgusting. The ending was mind blowing, holy hell!!!
I persfeel that this is one of Sea Caummisars most messed up books, the premis alone is dark as fuck and that execution..... was something else. Everything that happened in the lair was just horrendous and that ending.. just wow! I loved that the story kept me guessing at who the man was, I had a very mild suspension about who it could be but it still shocked me to see who it was! Awesome book only for the extreme horror fan as it's brutal and fucked, loved it.
This was so dark, disturbing and visceral. I love Caummisar's mind, she is brilliant at making you wonder why you read stuff like this, and at the same time dragging you deeper into her depraved imagination.
Didn’t care for the plot- it bored me but the “torture parts” was quite decent, would’ve loved for it to be described in more detail as it was quite “close door” and was over quickly but still okay read
Well this was a grim and twisty little read! Definitely not suitable for anyone even a tad squeamish or easily offended! Again, with extreme horror, I can’t say I “enjoyed” it exactly but I also couldn’t put it down!
I knew it wasn't the doctor but I wasn't expecting him. At first I thought it was the male nurse and then because of the coffee shop owners comments I was like him, but then I was like noooo that's too obvious. And I went back to the nurse. Good read!

Maybe not everyone's cup of tea, but I enjoyed it ! It's sad to see that the author feels the need to apologise for the content of this book, plus two previous books due to hate mail. If you don't like extreme horror, don't read it ! Personally, I love it and if there was ever a subject I felt uncomfortable with, I'd either not read it or simply abandon it (although I've yet to find that subject !). It's fiction - graphic but, nonetheless, just fiction 😉
Never would I have guessed who the killer is. I thought it was Jake for sure!
Good story, god plot, just wished a little bit more gore lmao 🤣
In typical Sea Caummisar fashion this is an extreme story. About an evil person kidnapping pregnant woman and keeping them in his lair. Doing unspeakable things. Not the most extreme I’ve read by the author but nonetheless very entertaining.
This book is very well written from a formalist writing perspective. It was certainly a page turner, very difficult to put down. It is the kind of story that keeps you in suspense. It keeps you guessing as to the identity of the perpetrator, while establishing multiple red herrings. It also carries very explicit, yet bleak, literature themes.
Now, THIS BOOK IS NOT FOR EVERYONE.
This is an extreme horror, splatter punk, torture porn novel that is THE single most explicitly disturbing, sick, and twisted book I’ve ever read; and I’m a very jaded horror genre enthusiast.
Therefore, anyone who asks me about this book, here is my response to you:
“You are not ready to read this book yet.”
Before reading this book, read Stephen King’s Dolores Claiborne and Gerald’s Game (both of which are Walt Disney in comparison to this). If you can handle those books, then MAYBE you are ready to read this book, but it really depends on your experience with the two Stephen King books and your tolerance level for extreme abuse, and I mean EXTREME disgusting grisly abuse. But if your stomach cannot even get through one of the King novels, I would NOT suggest that you read this book.
So, why did I give this book 4 stars? Well, in addition to aforementioned praises I gave it prior to prerequisites and warnings, I do believe that stories like this are important to tell. Unfortunately, we do not live in a perfect world. We do live in a world full of dangers and threats and predators. Stories like this place real life dangers in a particular context which allows readers to confront these types of issues and be more aware of them. These kinds of books also spark conversations about issues such as sexual predators, domestic violence, male dominance, and NEVER making assumptions about strangers based on appearance alone.
A twisted tale of deviance and sexual depreciation opens the flood gates to a sadistic man wit an odd fetish. One that wraps around pregnant woman And the unspeakable torture, murders, and experimentation done upon them and their babies. Jake was posed as a homeless man outside of a OBGYN clinic, where he could stalk and abduct his victims very freely by using Dr. Marsh as the co er up of a lifetime. With two woman already missing from his clinic after their appointments, he was under the spot light of detectives for the disappearance of another young woman, Mrs. Smith. Nearing the final weeks of her pregnancy, she felt the torture as he sewn her lips and eyes shut, and documented the results of his operations on her. His rage however wouldn’t be met until she delivered the baby naturally, causing his to slice into her abdomen and smother the baby back into the womb while sewing her shit. With both mother and baby dead, he clung to the joys that he had removing her finger the other day to be planted in the Dr’s vehicle. Now with Dr. Marsh down for the grisly murders, Jake is left free to further and mutilated further.
I don't regret paying for this book. It's short and it delivers in its promise of a visceral reaction. No spoilers but the climax was hard to take in.
I have mixed feelings about this one, so I'll go with a simple pros and cons list.
Pro. It doesn't skimp out on the torture. Con. It's more predictable than the author seems to think. Pro. The story line is actually pretty good, even without the gore. Con. The red herrings are too deep. Time is wasted on false flags. Pro. There are lines that I saw coming, that got crossed, that were probably even more shocking because I saw them coming. Con. There are some inconsistencies in the ending that I'm having a hard time getting around. Pro. The gore is realistically done. It's not so extreme that it's unrealistic, but also not so realistic that it's not extreme. Con. Every scene should either develop character or further the plot. This story has scenes that do neither.
Also, to the narrator, please stop trying to do women's voices. It really detracted from the story.
With Child, written by Sea Caussisar, is an extreme horror splatterpunk book that should be approached cautiously. It is graphic, gory, pretty intense, and traumatic. Did I mention how much I LOVE splatterpunk?!
Several pregnant patients went missing and were last reported at Dr. Marsh’s OB-GYN office, and soon, he became the prime suspect for these missing person cases. Dr. Marsh prides himself on being a fantastic doctor, an upstanding citizen, and a philanthropist. Could he be as guilty as the detectives believe him to be?
I love a graphic, gory book! Yesss. The things that happen in the lair are intense and cringe. How can you not feel a little nauseous when a pregnant woman is being tortured? Page after page, my mouth hung slack, and I mumbled OMG. The story was brutal and detailed. The author also does a fantastic job of keeping the identity of the sick performing these depraved acts a mystery until the very end. By the end of the book, I suspected EVERYONE!
A+! Wow. This book is not for the faint of heart, or um… most moms. LOL.
To the outside world Dr. Marsh's OB-GYN is just your ordinary Dr. he does a lot for his community via charities and has helped many of his patients, only 3 of them were last seen entering his office. is he really the nice guy they all think or is someone else in the frame? This is a well written sexual horror story - not for the faint of heart!! This sinister dark and twisting tale will have you questioning everything and everyone and completely blow your mind! filled with horror, violence and captive scenes.

Let's call it 4.5 stars for several typos, but from an indie author who pumps out so much amazing content, I cant fully dock a star. This is one of the best Kindle Unlimited Extreme Horror Novella I have read, and I've read many! I couldn't put it down, it's a fast read like classic pulp Splatterpunk, but from a woman's mind (less misogyny is always a plus when dealing with themes like rape/murder of pregnant women!) While I'm not typically a fan of Whodunnits, that aspect was surprisingly unpredictable. For that and the final gore scene alone, this is worth the read for any Extreme Horror fan!
This had my jaw on the floor at the end. We have an OBGYN with a cafe next door. There’s some rivals between them over parking spaces. The doctor seems like a super kind man, always making toast for the homeless man outside and donating to charities. When a brawl breaks out between the owners the homeless man is in charge of the car and the doctor’s phone. When he arrives back after being released his items are exactly where he left them. Someone has a filthy fetish for pregnant women and does disgusting shit to her. Not to share too much! The lady in captivity gives birth and Christ what he does makes me feel sick. What a book. This will stick with me for awhile I think!
As always, it’s a chilling delight to read Sea’s books. With that being said, trigger warnings people - please read them - this is EXTREME DARK HORROR, and she isn’t kidding.
I am flabbergasted that I was beyond wrong about how was doing this to the women the entire time. My face was in a constant “😲” phase, and I was talking out loud to myself as well. This book made me cringe, recoil, and even give me chills down my spine. I will be having nightmares about this; and looking at people so differently for now on.
This is a wonderful addition to this thrilling series! Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start. Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable. Great suspense and action with wonderful world building that adds so much to the story. Such a thrilling read that I couldn't put it down. Can't wait to read more of these. Recommend reading.
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.
A little book with a big kick... it wasn't as extreme as I thought it was going to be,but it was still pretty gruesome. I will admit that I didn't guess who the "culprit" was until the end of the book revealed it....But please don't attempt to read this book if you are pregnant or intend to become pregnant. Not for the faint hearted or for those of you who are easily offended....but a good read for me. An author that I will most definitely be reading more from in the future.
It makes you wonder about people.. This isn't the type of book you really like but it does make you realise how easy it is to deceive others by changing your appearance. And wonder what happened to make him the way he was. I wouldn't suggest pregnant women read this.

I read lots of extreme horror and always welcome trying things from authors I haven’t read before. I read this particular story in one sitting and while the story idea was good and not something I’ve read before I feel it could have been more developed, the whole thing felt rushed and didn’t really flow.
