No, please no. Do not end the book like that Leila James! 😭 I keep shaking my Kindle to see if really that is the ending?!! Hoping shaking my Kindle will give me more story! Why, oh why??? Are you serious?!! 😱😱 I am in shock and upset and despite all this I loved this book so much!!! ♥️🔥
This book, I don’t know how Leila does it but the books in this Rosehaven Academy series keep getting better and better each time. I loved Scarlett and Xander’s books and Daphne and Micha’s story which, they were my favorite couple, but new people showed up to play in this book and holy moly are they ready to bring you entertainment and excitement. The two main characters have so much amazing tension it is fierce and passionate. You aren’t sure if they are going to fight or hookup. You route for them the entire time, seeing a different side to Beau than we have seen from the other books in the series. My favorite character was a side character, Beau’s brother, and gosh I hope we see more of him because I fell hard for his big beautiful heart.
I wasn’t sure where this story would go or how this couple would be. Beau’s mystery girl is just that, a mystery! This book was a doozy, it went there, Leila James went there, the angle is unique and different. I’m telling you the story is good and fun and shockingly it had so many fun twists, twists that took you towards pleasure and steam. Twists, that shocked you and have you wondering, “wait did I read that correctly?” And twists that you won’t see coming (**coughs, that ending!!!**). Each word I read I was on the edge of my seat the entire time, not sure why the bad guys were really bad. Who does the mystery girl trust? She wants these friends to be her friends but when they find out her past will they still be there for her?! I mean we know our favorites in the series have all been through their rough patches, and have all helped each other out. But, the main character doesn’t know that nor does she know them and how incredible they all are. She is nervous and anxious not only to be at a new school but living in a new house. However, this girl is a powerhouse! She is sassy and will have you tumbling with excitement at how awesome she is! 😘😘 She deserves all the praise!
Leila James, you have done it once again! Shocked the heck out of me with that insane cliffhanger! It is crazy but what a story. It had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Thanks for bringing back the old gang to help our new girl out. With this cliffhanger, she is gonna need all the support she can get!

Holy crap this book was amazing and by far my favorite in this series. Beau and Lyla are perfect for each other and the attraction between them is enough to melt your kindle. Lyla is a starting fresh at a new school and Beau is curious to know more about her. I loved there story and this a must add to your TBR list and that cliffhanger...WOW!!! Bring on book 2 in this duet because I need more Beau and Lyla.

Another great read By Leila I couldn’t put down! Tangled Rose is the first in the new duet and I absolutely loved Beau as much as I loved Micah. Lyla is tough and them two together are perfect! This book is packed with drama, secrets, and one cliffhanger that will leave you wanting more!

This is my first book from this author and is part of the Rosehaven Academy series. This is a new duet and is a must read book that I really enjoyed.
Beau and Layla, there story is hot and steamy and they go back and forth with each other but the chemistry that they have together is strong. There is no denying It I think that these two are meant to be together that it is fate and totally meant to be. Layla is a very head strong and feisty woman and I love that about her and that she gives as good as she gets.
I loved how this author has written this story it will totally keep you turning those pages and once you start reading it you wont be able to put this book down. I like how she written the characters and how the story flows. This book will have your emotions on a roller coaster ride and and you will defiantly need tissues on hand. There are has twists and turns that the reader wont see coming and and that cliffhanger at the end, WHAT!!!!!! PHEW!! I defiantly need to read the next book now and I cant wait to read more from this author in the future.

Oh my sweet Beau, you are EVERYTHING! This is the 1st half of the 3rd duet in the Rosehaven Academy series & I think I just fell even HARDER in love, despite not even thinking that was possible! Leila James is absolutely kicking ass & taking names with her debut series & she's at it again, better than ever! Beau is the epitome of tall, dark, & handsome with such attitude & a dirty mouth you'll be transported to Rosehaven with every word you read. And Lyla... oh Lyla, you may be my favorite heroine yet! Lyla is a smart, headstrong, sassy, confident gymnast who will steal your heart with each & every smart-ass remark & witty comeback. These two are such a mental match for one another, I swooned through nearly the whole book. And the cliffie.... y'all... just wait. I. Am. In. Pain! Waiting for the 2nd half of the duet. I need to know! What really happened?!? Is it true? Is there a justifiable explanation? Can they come back from this?!? My mind is just REELING, and I put the book down hours ago. Beau & Lyla will stick with you in the best of ways... I have no choice but to give this 5 front flipping hand-springing with a twist bonus stars! What a flipping incredible read!!!

Can I just say WHY!!!😪🤧 did you have to end the book like that. I need the next one like RIGHT NOW!! I loved everything about Beau and Lyla together. Beau finally met his match, she is sassy and isn't afraid to speak her mind. I read the entire book in one sitting. The tension coming off these two, sequel tension that is. They are so hot together, you could melt butter. But man that cliffhanger, has you screaming NO, WHY!!!! I need to know what happens next, is it true? Can beau and Lola's relationship last through this bump in the road? What will her friends think? How bad are things going to get for her at school? I know one things for sure it always gets worst before it gets better, and I am so looking for the amazing ending with Beau and Lyla and looking forward to seeing Griffin's love story and then Aria's.

This was such an amazing read! I love Leila James' writing style and storytelling, and these stories just keep getting better and better. I loved Lyla from the start, and the more I got to "know" Beau, the more I loved him, and the more I loved them together. Leila just has a way of making her characters so believable, it actually made me feel like I was watching the movie, instead of reading the book!
And that cliffhanger? Ugh! I absolutely cannot wait for the finale in this duet. In the meantime, this one is definitely recommended!

A new duet in the Rosehaven school is here! It’s finally Beau’s turn! When the student their hosting on scholarship ends up being Lyla and not Lyle there’s some definite adjustments to be made. What no one expected was how well Beau and Lyla would get along. Theirs is a great story and true to Leila James’ writing there’s an epic cliff hanger at the end leaving you not so patiently waiting to see what’s going to happen next! Prepare you’re self, Lyla gives just as good as Beau does and it makes for some great banter and steam between the 2 of them!

Wow I didn't think she would do it again BUT this author got me again !!! Ive been taken off guard again !!! This story took me completely by surprise!!! Never would I have imagined a cliffhanger like that !!! I'm reeling, will they survive this?, is it really true?, is this a joke?, I am on pins and needles waiting to find out !!! These two are meant for each other, a perfect match, but can they survive this ??? ❤❤❤

These books keep getting better and better!!! Lyla is one sassy ass kicking girl and probably my favorite girl character of this series. I love her feistiness! Beau is just plain damn hawt! I can not wait to see what in store for these two!!

In the beginning I was sucked in...I loved how the book starts off on different territory, ..and oh boy does it start with a bang...and we're off to the races 🥴🥴🥴 but then the cliffhanger ripped my heart out as it still beat...now I wait for the next book.

O.M.G….I totally feel for Lyla. Leila James, author, has become my favorite author who is somewhat known for cliffhangers in her series and Tangled Rose 🥀 is no exceptions. Tangled Rose’ 🥀 has a doozy of a cliffhanger and I shouldn’t be surprised but for some reason I still am 😊. Leila is an outstanding author who surprises you and writes with lots of twist, turns, things going sideways, ups, downs, secrets, revelations, and lots and lots of heat 🔥🌡. Tangled Rose 🥀 is a good example of this. Leila is an author who has demonstrated with the books from the Rosehaven Academy series. Leila also creates stories with characters that we as readers love, empathizes with, has depths, and histories that make them a well rounded characters with unique traits and characteristics. Tangled Rose 🥀 is a good example of that Lyla may not have had a lot of friends, people who she can depend on and who shows kindness without getting something in return. The characters of Tangled Rose 🥀 rally around her when she needs them and has shown her what having true friends mean. I very highly recommend Tangled Rose 🥀 and the Rosehaven Academy series. I can’t wait to get lost in Fallen Rose 🥀, book 6, of the Rosehaven Academy series. I have a feeling I will be up all night (it’s 11:15 pm here) as I know I will not want to put the book down as I hated whenever I got interrupted or had to put down Tangled Rose 🥀. I am onto post my reviews and will be diving into Fallen Rose to find out what happens with Lyla and Beau as I want to get lost in their journey to their HEA! Three more books left in the Rosehaven Academy series! Enjoy!!

Holy. Shit. I love this series so damn much and I swear they just keep getting better. I’ve been excited for Beau’s story since we first met him in Savage Rose. I always felt that there was more to him than what we saw, and I really wanted to get to know him better. Beau is just *chef’s kiss* perfect. He’s sweet and caring, not to mention protective and I love seeing him with Lyla. I love the fact that Lyla is a new character and oh how I feel for this girl. She’s strong, determined, feisty, and not afraid to stand up for herself. However, her upbringing makes it difficult to let people in, so I loved seeing her start to open up to Beau and letting his friends begin to be her friends. I really hope that she completely opens up to Beau in the next book and comes to trust him in the next book.
Can I just say that Leila knows how to write a mean girl! This go round we get introduced to Mandy, who is jealous because not only is Lyla better at gymnastics than she is, but Mandy also wants Beau all for herself. Which naturally means that she has it in for Lyla. A genuinely great surprise in this book was how we see Aria. She’s actually nice to Lyla so we get to see this new side to Aria and makes me hopeful for what we see from her in the future.

Beau and Lyla’s story is intense and hot as sin! Lyla has earned a scholarship to the Academy and is hosted by Beau’s family for room and board. They thought she was a boy with a name mix up but when arrives everything is sorted and she is welcomed with open arms. Lyla doesn’t know how to handle comfort or compliments so she is a bit off putting when she arrives and is kinda mean to Beau because she sees him as a player. Beau is trying hard to get Lyla to see his true self and he’s determined to show how just that. Beau is drawn to her like no other and he wants her to feel comfortable with him and his friends. He does everything he can to make her feel needed and wanted. Their explosive together and the attraction is off the charts. Lyla knows she has to focus on her gymnastics but Beau is a welcomed distraction. She wants to forget about her past but her mother keeps popping up and making trouble for her. When a secret from the past is revealed all that she worked for may be broken without repair. Cliffhanger at the end so be prepared! Happy Reading!!!

This is the 5th book in this phenomenal series and the 1st in a duet which is Beau and Lyla’s story. Beau is dark, handsome, and a dirty talker, while Lyla is starting over in a new school, where she is a talented gymnast who is sassy, smart, and headstrong. These two compliments each other perfectly, and the chemistry between them is combustible and undeniable. This story is filled with engaging and relatable characters. This is a well written story which is fun, and with witty banter, twists, emotions, love, and is an entertaining and all-consuming story. My word that epic cliffhanger has left me reeling!! I am totally in awe of this talented author who has blown me away with this amazing Rosehaven Academy series, and with each story she has the unique ability to just keep getting better and better with each story. I highly recommend this talented authors’ work.

And let me just say that Beau couldn’t be more perfect! I mean, I had expected him to be all ‘I’m above everyone else and you would do what I said you would do’ vibe!!! NOT AT ALL!!!! He’s a very caring and protective character! 😍
All Lyla wants is to better herself and get away from the life her mother is giving, which is none!

Damn that cliffhanger! I can’t wait to see what Beau has to say for himself, and poor Lyla. If what Marshall announced is true when it comes to Beau, I couldn’t imagine being in Lyla’s position. But knowing how these books go she’ll bounce back quickly and all will be forgotten and no big deal.
This first book to Lyla and Beau’s story wasn’t bad. The beginning kinda dragged, and I wasn’t sure about Lyla at first. But I ended up really liking her! The girl is fire and fierce. I love watching her take no shit from anyone, especially Mandy. And I like seeing everyone rallying around her and being so welcoming- especially Aria- who I can’t wait to get to her story. Beau is pretty incredible too- minus the little bj incident in the very beginning that involved Mandy.

Ok. Wow, this was the completion of Lyla and Beau's story, or I should say Helluva ride!! These characters and their friends are really what you hope for, and the people or psychos in their case, are the ones you hope to never experience because Sh@t gets Really intense! It's an intriguing, emotional, angsty and I couldn't have asked for a better story with Lyla and Beau!!! 5 stars baby!!!!!!!!

Leila James, what have you done to me AGAIN?! I knew some kind of cliffhanger was coming but I didn’t expect this!!
I’ve wanted to know more about Beau since Xander and Scarlett’s first book. He always seemed so sweet and he didn’t disappoint in this book. I was swooning at how protective and kind he was. His character evolved into everything I thought he would and more.
I love how different this book was to the rest of the series, as it wasn’t a bully romance, but one between two people from completely different worlds, who right from the beginning fad amazing chemistry.
Lyla is a different kind of heroine to Daphne and Scarlett, as she doesn’t believe she’s worthy of Beau or his friends because of her past.
But when her former life and her present life collide it’s only going to end in fireworks, right?
Leila James has blown it out of the water with another well written book in this series. I constantly want to know more about every character.
This book is gripping, angsty in places and also swoon worthy.
Highly recommended.
PS Can you please write Aria’s story, that girl needs a HEA!!

How many douchebags and awful girls go this school! I love Lyla though she’s feisty but has loads of self doubt and insecurities. I love her and Beau together but not sure what will happen with that bombshell at the end.

Eeeeeeek.... The sound of screeching breaks in my brain after that cliffhanger. I mean, I knew there would be one but didn't see that one coming!

It took a bit for Lyla to grow on me and Beau didn't deserve her attitude so she wasn't my favorite. But she did grow on me. Griffin is the sweetest btw. This ending though...yikes
