Ah! Malik and Addie...so much dancing!
They have danced around each other for the last eight years, he broke her heart eight years ago...but she was far too young. She has grown up and Malik realises his mistake, not only is she beautiful, she is his everything...but can he win her heart a second time?
There are sparks, there are fireworks and oceans of chemistry but two wary people who lack the confidence to offer their heart. Addie and Malik are so sweet and although there are times you want to shake them and say...just talk to each other!...you cannot help but like them. A lovely book that draws the Royal family further into your heart, I am looking forward to book 3. I read this on Kindle Unlimited.

Love this series
This is shaping up to be one of my most favorite series ever from one of my favorite authors. You can count on Ms.Checketts for a reliably fun story with just the right blend of wonderful locations, relatable characters, sweet romance, humor and suspense. I promise this book does not disappoint on any of those points.
This book features the oldest daughter of the King of Magna as the family welcomes the very first group of tourists under the new tourism plan. Conveniently, the first group to book a vacation on Magna are friends of Kingston, the military commander, from his time training with the American military. As a special treat for long time readers, this group of guests happen to be visiting from Ms.Checketts' recent series "Surviving the Romance", which was a great deal of fun.
It is fun to watch this island-country's tourism plan start to take shape. Some things that had been slated to update as funds become available may suddenly become a much greater priority than originally anticipated. This was a great group to have visit first to help the royal family see where changes need to be made. Plus, they have a high social media presence to help get the word out about an exclusive new vacation destination.
I can't wait to start reading the next book in the series. I bought a copy of this story from Amazon and voluntarily chose to share my review.

Addie and Malik are destined to be together, but hurt from the past makes her more feisty than ever. He loves her sass and has woken up to realize how much he loves her. They dance around their feelings in the midst of doing their jobs and trying to figure out who is threatening Addie. I loved the characters and the amazing setting. I got a bit frustrated with the lack of communication. When I step back and look at it I realize the whole book took place in less than a week. It could easily take that long to let someone know how you feel. There was just so much going on during that week! As Always, I look forward to more of this series from Cami Checketts!

Another great book in this series on the Royals of the island Magna. Princess Adelaide lived on the island and had loved Malik since she was a young girl,he was in her brothers army who looked after security on the island. They were having a hard time to make ends meet and to keep the inhabitants healthy and well fed. They decided to open the country to tourists to help the economy grow. This was a great read and with the love and intrigue in the story made it hard to stop reading till the story was finished. This is my review and mine alone. Norma Gorrill

This is a great addition to the series. Malik and Princess Adelaide have known each other all of their lives. She has had a crush on him since she was a teenager. The island has their first tourist arrivals who are a crossover from a previous series which makes this book a bit more entertaining to me. What happens when the Princess is threatened and Malik has to be her bodyguard? Read this story of adventure and romance.

This beautiful island nation is hosting its first guests! There is an uneasy feeling surrounding the princess because of unwelcome notes under her door. Her brothers have assigned her a security person. She is confused about her feelings because the person she loves has made it clear, he doesn’t feel the same. Moving on has become her plan, but all this suspense is making it hard to do! A great story about love and forgiveness!!

A good story!
She is a princess, feisty & sassy. She works with Julia & her brother to market their island kingdom to increase revenue.
He's a soldier & close friend of her brothers & cousins. He rescued the princess when she was 16 & told her he could never care for her, other than as a sister.

Good story that will hold your interest. Princess Addie is receiving creepy notes left in her room. Malik is charged with protecting Addie. Will there be a second chance for them, or will it be ruined by one of the very first tourists. Lots of romance and just the right touch of suspense will keep you reading.

Protector Romance
Princess Addie and her protector. She's loved Malick since her teenage years. He saved her once and would willingly save her again. Throw in some "pranks" meant to scare, and no where is safe. I highly be recommend this book:) fun and flirty. Happy Reading!

A good clean second chance/enemies to lovers romance: He rejected her when she was a teen, now he realizes she's the one and she wants nothing to do with him or at least that's what she wants him to think.

Clean royal romance
This book was very clean and stayed clean throughout. It was a light story nothing intense but if someone was sensitive to being attacked and attempted rape it might be an issue. I'm excited about the next story in the series.

The wait . .
The wait was truly spectacular and stirring. Although it took a while to figure the villian, I felt sorry for him. To love from a distance is heartbreaking. But to steal underwear is a bit strange way to show affection. WOW!

You will have trouble putting it down even though it costs your sleep time.
All the way through I was unsure how it would end. That’s a first out of the hundreds of these books I have read. You won’t guess who it is until the last chapter but only one character ends up being bad.

Love conquers all , except when it doesn't! Eddie has loved Malik all her life but has realized nothing will ever come from it. Until she is threaten ed. Great story! Great read!

Romantic, wholesome, and entertaining!
Love the characters and the premise of a hidden gem of a country, one that has not quite joined the 20th century. It’s an interesting storyline, and all the characters are so likable.
I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.
