Confession time: The Bone Collar is perhaps my favorite thing I've ever written. The whole reason
The Blood Prayer
even exists at all - and wasn't abandoned after five or six drafts - is because I wrote a sequel that I really wanted out in the world. The first book is a very straightforward action novel; its follow-up has layers of intrigue, complexity, and reveals that were an absolute joy to write. Moth's journey is my favorite arc of the series, and it's going to be a real challenge to top it when
The Ghost Cauldron
sees the light of day later this year.
