Someone abducted me from Earth, operated on my head, and then dumped me on a purple planet! I don’t remember getting abducted or sent here. I just wake up—and I’m here. What the heck is going on?

I love to write about the same genre I love to read... Science Fiction and Romance go hand in hand in my mind! Right now, I can’t imagine writing anything else. From earth to the stars, I’m always thinking about what if… Now I'm writing full time... Spinning tales from my back porch to you.
This was an interesting short story prequel to a new series. I did enjoy reading it but there wasn't a lot of information forthcoming in this book. I was hoping as it was the prequel that it would at least answer the question of who took all the women to bring them to this new planet. But no such luck with that. It's still an unsolved mystery so far.
At some point I am hoping that is one of the questions that is answered. I have already read the next book in the series. And the why of it all is kind of already answered. Although I am hoping for a more detailed answer as the series goes on. Why these particular women? What exactly was done to them when they were taken? You know something was with the scars on the back of their heads.
I am hoping to get more of Tessa and Jaylen's story also as the series goes on. I can't believe how calm and accepting of the situation Tessa is. I think I would be having hysterics by now if I was in her shoes. No matter what my grandmother might have told me in a vision. Although I am curious about that also. What other abilities does Tessa have? So many questions about this series still and very few answers have appeared yet.
A solid start to a new series. What an interesting world/situation that these characters are embedded in! I found that there were so many new things about the setting and the characters involved it took me a while to piece things together. I’m looking forward to seeing how things unfold.

This book was a bit of a miss for me it was enjoyable to read but left far too many unanswered question for me to really enjoy.
How did the abductions happened? why is there no back story there? How many other people were on the ship? was it just women who were abducted?
What is up with the planet she landed on? Do they have spaceships is there any chance for her to go home if she had wanted to?
The native American vision story line was way over the top.
Why were they instantly and pretty constantly sexual?
Did she ever consider trying to escape?
How could she read an alien language but not speak it? that part made no sense to me.
Was this the end of their story because it felt unfinished
If this was an introduction to this story or world it would have been way better if you learned about the characters on the space ship and then individual stories could be written on each character.
Fantastic Read. Was awesome to find an author that thought outside the box. I really enjoy this book, really think I need to purchase the series. How thing's happened, the way things happened, the way things came together was refreshing.
This book wasn't bad. Although I think I can safely say that alien romance novels just don't do it for me. I would've liked a little more character development. And overall I found it to be too short. But then again if you're looking for a quick read this may be just the book for you.
It's good for a Novella, there's actual world building in there, which surprised me (not a lot nor very deep, but more than I expected). A good introduction to the series.
