Trudy: We had to run. We had to hide her. I promised never to make myself vulnerable to a man, but when a young girl is about to bring down an entire mafia syndicate, you make an exception. Oh this story was so so good😍😍😍 It had everything in it that you need in an awesome story. It was sweet, dark, steamy, romantic but safe as well. It was dark, gritty and had depth 👍👍With great characters and an awesome storyline 👍👍👍 I loved how Malik and Trudy met and how they instantly fell for each other. 😍😍Malik the hitman and the social worker. She changed his whole life and helped him to overcome his trauma. Their chemistry was off the charts hot. Another Connor brother found his One. Can't wait for Rafas and Tatums story 😍

WOW!! I couldn't put this one down. I absolutely love it!! This was a nice quick, short read.
Malik meets Trudy when he's assigned a target and he needs to protect an innocent girl his target is after. Trudy is a social worker who rescues a young girl who the mafia are after. Trudy goes with Malik when he takes the young girl into hiding to his brother, Rafa's cabin. After they arrive Malik has his brother Rafa get clothes for the two woman since they left without anything. Malik makes dinner while the woman get a shower and change. After dinner Malik and Trudy talk about their past and get to know one another. He asks her if he can kiss her and he does. Malik tells her that he wants to make love to her, and love her the way she should be loved. They begin to kiss, taking each others clothes off. She tells him she wants him in her mouth, then she goes to her knees and begins to pleasure him. Malik tells her she needs to slow down, he wants to be inside her. He lets Trudy lead the pace, she guides him into her, and he thrust into her. After he starts handing her her clothes without looking at her. It scares him that he has feeling for her and he wants to make her his. She wakes the next morning and Malik is gone dread washes over her. Then he burst through the door with coffee in his hands. She asks him if he's mad and he tells her he's never woken up this happy. He tells her of the diner in town he wants to take her too. They take a shower together and get physical. Over breakfast at the diner he tells her this feels like a date, then he tells her he never went on a date. When he notices a black car with tinted windows drive by he knows he needs to get back to the cabin. He drove like a madman back to the cabin crashing just before the cabin. They both run to the cabin but don't find the young girl. Rafa, Malik brother is there but he hasn't seen the young girl. Malik give Trudy a gun and tells her to shot anyone that comes in. Malik and his brother head off into the woods looking for the young girl. When they spot her they see three men around her, they come up with a plan and rescue her. When Malik doesn't find his target he heads back to the cabin to find Trudy being held hostage. She calls to him telling him he is armed, he tells her to hold on it'll be over soon. Malik tosses something and tells her to grab a wet towel and to stay low. Malik begins to fight with his target, he smashes his head on the tub, then again and Trudy knew the target was dead. Later that night the Connor brothers meet up with their dates for dinner at a fancy restaurant. Malik asks Trudy if she wants to dance and they do. He tells her he wants a future with her, he wants her to be his wife. She tells him yes she wants to be his future. Ten Years Later, Malik quit his job and moved to be with his wife. They wanted to start a family, he started a defense course and self worth courses at shelters all over the country. They have two sons, Gabriel and Rafael who help out at the shelter with Malik and Trudy. Trudy has taught him to let go of his anger, so he could truly soar. It took the love of a woman to save this hitman.

First, I love how this just tied so seamlessly with Hell's Fire the story if Mav & Sofia; Malika's older brother. It basically puck up exactly where we leave off with Malika's in Mav's story and now we get the grit that was going in the background.
In this story, we find two fractured souls that share a similar upbringing but took that devastating past and went two different directions with it.
Trudy, she became a social worker. Desperately trying to keep others from being tangled up in the same kind of childhood she had.
Malika's on the other hand, decided yo take out the garbage. This way with each kill there is one less rat to get their dirty hand on a child or woman.
Both are protecting Tatum, A young girl that has mad white hat hacking skill and has some very bad sex trafficking slum after her. During this journey they are drawn extremely close to one another by their shared past.
Can these to two half living souls become whole again by letting love in? Will they be able to protect Tatum? Will one have to sacrifice another to escape alive? What is Rafa's fascination with needing to be there in the mist of it all?

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!
This is part of the Hitman series it appears each book can be read as a standalone so why just read one when you can start at the beginning and keep reading through the series it won’t be a waste of time. Trudy sweet, tries to help little people (kids) as a social worker finding those that are lost in the system. Malik sexy as all get out hitman, loving the violence as it seems to calm him, but it goes back to the ghost of his past shaping the man. The chemistry is instant and intense the moment they meet, the magnetic pull can’t be ignored. They work together to say a young girl from a crime boss, but will it be enough for happiness between two very unlikely people.

Malika is a hitman, because of his past thrives on the kill. Abused as a kid, now he want to make sure those who hurt others get what they deserve. Trudy works at the teen center in Valor and knows her own share of pain, when a young Hacker comes asking for help. she is not one to back down. Malika accepted a job to protect the young lady and head to Valor to find her, but he was did not expect Trudy.
If you love cross over character as much as I do, this is a perfect book for it. The chance to think back on their story always helps put the pieces together with the one I am reading. Malika and Trudy have a similar experience growing up that when they look into each others eyes, its not pity they see but an understanding that allow them to open up to each other and trust.
This journey to protect is not all heat and steam, there is a good amount of danger and suspense that will keep you glued to the book.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the story of Malik and Trudy. Malik is a hitman who is hired to kill a mob boss who is also a human trafficker and after a young woman Tattum who hacked evidence of his crimes and gave it to the FBI. Malik is hired to also protect Tattum and the social worker she went to for help. Trudy is a social worker and also has her own troubled past. Trudy is drawn to Malik and understands his reasons for being a hitman. When Malik opens up and tells Trudy about his past, they find they are both survivors and are drawn to one another. I think Malik and Trudy had amazing chemistry. I love how honest Malik was with Trudy and how he opened up to her. I think they had an instant trust for one another. Trudy was a strong woman who was perfect for Malik. Good one.

Why are there so many authors who don't use proofreaders? Do they even go thru and proofread themselves? Obviously not in this case. The hero's brothers went from Maverick to Gabriel in the span of ONE line!!!!!! I'm not even kidding
I stared at Mav as I scrubbed my jaw. A sly grin crossed my lips. "Relax, Gabe"
Considering Maverick has his own book before this one....... how tf dud the author mess that up??
ETA: turns out Gabriel is Mavericks real name but we don't learn that until half-way thru when the hero tells the heroine this. It was probably told to people in Mavs book but new readers don't know this.
Then we have the hitmen. Rogue says this girl is 19 or 20 and staying at a youth shelter. In the next chapter the heroine meets the girl who wants to stay at the shelter. So Rogue can see into the future????

Hitman turned into multiple jobs. Take out the mafia man, keep the girl that went to the social worker that he has to keep safe as well. So that means one kill and two lives to save. She is there for the kids to help them where she can. Now she has to help this girl and also trust the man that is there to keep them safe. You will have emotions all over the place. You get action, killing, trust, trauma, and a lot more in this book. These two have the chemistry that is just there for them it is perfect. So if you are in the mindset for this, grab it. You will love it and think differently of this one hitman. That is also a savior.

I love the Connor brothers and I’m so happy Mila Crawford gave us Malik’s story.

Malik is a hitman and his next assignment takes him to a hacker who needs protection from a mobster. When he sets eyes on the beautiful social worker, who has taken the hacker under her protection, he can’t help his instant attraction.
I love Trudy and Malik. Both have overcome their horrific pasts. Although they are broken, they fit together beautifully and draw strength from each other. I love the connection to the Men of Valor.
This is a fast pace insta love story that you won’t want to put down.

First things first; I really like the cover of this book!
Saving the hitman is a novella in the ‘’men of ruthless corp’’ collection. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. When a young girl is put in danger Malik is tasked with helping. Along the way, he meets a hot social worker but will love blossom between them?
The chemistry between Trudy and Malik is clear to see and I liked them together.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.

I love crossover books!!! This author takes her Men of Valor MC series and blends it smoothly with the story. Malik and Trudy I have both damaged and abused characters but they find each other and despite the circumstances that threw them together love blossoms. She knows she should not be falling for him because he deals with his pain by killing people which isn’t healthy. Tatum is a talented hacker but she stumbled across matters that the crime syndicate would kill for to keep secret. Trudy and Malik must keep her safe at all costs. Will Malik let Trudy in? What will happen when trudy falls in love with the hitman?

This story is full of pain, grief, anger, darkness, pasts, connections, chemistry, passion, family, codes, friends, support, understanding and acceptance. It shows many different sides of love and it also shows that out of darkness comes light. I first met Malik in the book 'Hell Fires', after seeing his brother get his HEA I wanted Malik and Rafa to get theirs two, I have not been disappointed and after this story I can't wait to read Rafa's HEA in full too. The Connor brothers definitely own a piece of my heart as do their ladies.

LOVED this book and everything about it! Malik is a hitman that takes out the worst of the worst. Trudy is a social worker trying to help a young woman in trouble. Malik is sent to keep them safe and to take out the head of a trafficking ring. Malik and Trudy are both heartbreakingly broken but it’s also beautiful in how they seek to heal each other. Their story is so good!! The world built in this book is so good as well and I want more from these awesome characters!! I would definitely recommend this book! It’s a shorter read with suspense, steam, and a terrific sorry.

Malik is sent in to save and protect a young hacker. He ends up taking the hacker and a social worker who she ran to into protective xustody to a secluded cabin owned by his brother to protect them both from the mobstet that wants the hacker dead. His brother falls for the hacker while he falls for her curvy social worker. Turns out the social worker is more than he bar g at ed for when she can look at him and he spills his entire crappy childhood. Together theu help each other cope with the baggage they carry and eliminate the enemy ro protect the hacker. Great emotional story.

Sooo....yeah...this book isn’t just another awesome installment in the hitman series. This book is a crossover with the deliciously entertaining friends in Valor, Colorado. So in essence, it’s like a two-for-one. There is a lot of fast-moving storylines booking along in this tale of intrigue, cruel pasts and serious forever loves. The intense instalove that takes place between these two incredibly broken and beautiful souls....

This was definitely a page turner with so much hurt and despair for the past that both Malik and Trudy had to deal with, a recognizing of souls when these two connect. Both come from troubled past and have learned to deal in very opposite manners, though I do like how open and honest Malik was about his profession and past, it is why Trudy is so forgiving and able to help Malik deal with his anger. The ending is explosive as so much action happens quickly, an exciting read.

This was an awesome book. I loved Trudy and Malik. This book shows you both sides of love, not just the rainbow and butterflies and I think that is what really hits home with me. I like how Malik and Trudy are drawn to each other and they both know that they can trust each other. I thought this was an awesome book and fits perfectly with this series. I would highly recommend this book and Ms. Mila as a must read author.

Malik is a hitman that is assigned a job to protect a young woman and take out the guy trying to kidnap her! Only he didn’t expect to meet and fall for beautiful social worker Trudy! Trudy suffered abuse when she was younger and is now helping others. She ends up helping a young woman in trouble and finds herself with gorgeous hitman Malik! Malik knows he doesn’t deserve a woman like Trudy, but he will do whatever it takes to protect her and make her his! Great book that I would highly recommend!

Malik ends up getting his next assignment. He's after a monster by the name of Gabrielli who liked to traffic women and children. Gabrielli is after Tatum who is a hacker and has hacked into all of his files. Malik ends up meeting Trudy and Tatum in Valor's Malcolm Miller's office. Malik takes them to his brother Rafa's cabin. Phew. This one takes you to a dark place. Trafficking is a big part of this storyline, as well as child abuse so this was so much darker than I anticipated. My heart breaks for the Connor boys and what they went through as well as what Trudy went through. The hitman portion of this story almost becomes an afterthought as Malik works through his trauma. I did not read his brothers book Hell Fires which may have prepared me a bit better. I liked the story and the ending was sweet but be warned.

There are triggers here
This is a story about two severely abused children that have found a way to exist in the world. Good for them that they found love and understanding in each other. I like the Conners brothers and their mates. While this book includes triggers the story was told respectfully about rape, abuse, and trafficking. The only personal point of view that I disagreed with is saying Malik's mom was sick. She wasn't, she was cruel and she made conscious decisions. It's a good redeeming series for survivors.

This Hitman love story is for Trudy and Malik. I loved this book and all the danger the little girl brings with her into Trudy and Malik lifes. I so can not wait to see what the next book holds. My heart broke for these two when they talk about the pasts they both have. I so wanted to reach through the pages and hug them both.

This story is on fire, it’s so hot! This is Malik’s story from the Conner Brothers series and it is amazing! An instalove story about redemption and second chances. Malik is enjoying his life as a hitman, he thrives on the violence it brings. Until he meets up with Trudy, a social worker who is trying to help kids who get lost in the system. Malik and Trudy work together to help keep a young woman safe from an evil crime boss. I absolutely love the deep connection between Malik and Trudy as they share similar abusive pasts which stokes their passion and love for each other and has them exploding off the pages! Fantastic story!

Who could love a hitman?
The author made me believe in the love that grew between Malik and Trudy. The reasoning was sound why Trudy fell for someone who hurts others for a living and that is hard to do without a lot of suspension of disbelief. Well done. I plans to check out the other Hitman series books that I haven't read.

A riveting addition to the Men of Ruthless Corp series and it is an emotional read from start to finish! An on the edge page-turner that is well written, emotionally deep, engaging, heart-wrenching, and exciting with drama, danger, humour, family, suspense, and more. The characters are well developed and strong; the chemistry between them is instant and off the charts. Definitely recommended!

Wow this was good
Mika Crawford this was so good. I was wondering when you were going to write about the other Connor men I just never expected one to be a Hitman. I hope Rafa has a book coming soon. This was a very touching story. Malik and Trudy both had troubling past. Both were victims and yet they overcame it in their own way. But I think their love for one another truly helped them heal.
