From USA Today Bestseller Ella James, a dark new adult romance...
He's the broken prince who takes the train to my elite Uptown school. I'm the pretend princess with her life mapped out. We meet at a masquerade ball on the Upper West Side, and we both feel it. His bruises match my cracks. Our love cures everything that ails us. Or it should. But this isn't a fairy tale. It's a tragedy. We're tangled in a web of lies from the first moment, star-crossed long before we ever know what turns our story dark. What should have been the perfect first love ends in bloodshed and so many broken things. Luca Galante's not a prince at all. And this is a cautionary tale.
*Twin Flame is the prequel to the Dark Heart Duet.
Ella James is the USA Today + Amazon Top 10 bestselling author of more than twenty books. Ella lives in Colorado with her husband and three kids. When she's not writing, you can find her in the foothills.
Twin Flame by Ella James is an incredible start to an incredible story.
It starts with how Luca and Elise first met. We get to experience the sparks that are set alight between the two, and maybe a few sweet interactions...
...with some angst mixed in it all.
The story then continues onto Dark Heart which delves deeper into the teenage forbidden love.
After this little sneak peek, you will not be able to wait to delve your hands into Dark Heart.
Wow what a story that Luca and Elise have. So much love but so much heartbreak. What these two have to go through in their lives is awful. Just when you think they might get a break life throws a kink in it. I really enjoyed this book but really ready for the next one to see what happens. A must read.
Lots going on and lots of characters introduced. I found it hard to get a grip on who was who, how they are connected and how old Luca and Elise are. I think they might still be at school but the man on the cover is not school boy material.
I need to go sit on the naughty step for not paying enough attention.
How Elise & Luca meet, too short to rate or comment whether the plot and love interest will be a good one or not. Id say give it a miss and read the full novel instead...what is in this one, is most probably in there anyway.
