Not your typical bash and run zombie story! So far (I'm at book 5 presently), the story keep the good pace, the young characters do not act like they were in an Archie comics story, there's is a good plot unraveling slowly (I really like the mystery side of the story). One of the best series I read in 2021 (along with two others series from mr. Tanpepper). The author is really good, I just wish there were less editing errors (doesn't look like there is a good proofreading done here, but the story is so good, it deserve 5 stars anyway)!
This story starts with some bored kids at the end of summer vacation. They decide to go into a zombie infested area in search of a bit of adventure. They soon find plenty of excitement.
Typical teenagers, now I have to get the rest of the books. Really enjoyed it and will certainly get more titles in this series. I find that Saul Tanpepper is a straight shooter when it comes to writing and I enjoy his style of writing
This was a really good fun read! I really liked the five main characters, a nice mix of kids, in this original YA, zombie story! Lots of action & adventure, good pace & tension when needed! Good ideas kept this interesting! I will look for the next part in this series! I did really enjoy it!
