Kay Correll is a USA Today bestselling author of sweet, heartwarming stories that are a cross between women’s fiction and contemporary romance. She is known for her charming small towns, quirky townsfolk, and the enduring strong friendships between the women in her books.
Kay splits her time between the Southwest coast of Florida and the Midwest of the U.S. and can often be found out and about with her camera, taking a myriad of photographs, often incorporating them into her book covers. When not lost in her writing or photography, she can be found spending time with her ever-supportive husband, knitting, or playing with her puppies - a cavalier who is too cute for his own good and a naughty but adorable Australian shepherd. Their five boys are all grown now and while she misses the rowdy boy-noise chaos, she is thoroughly enjoying her empty nest years.
I loved this book! It’s the 3rd book in the series and there was a very unexpected twist. I enjoy her style and how she fluidly weaves storylines. This is definitely a light and breezy read but it hits the heartstrings. I’m a sucker for family and the bond we all share. Can’t wait to read the next book.
I love this series! Such an unexpected twist. It's no doubt Kay is my favourite author, or may be a tie!! What started as a three book series has grown to five and I'm thrilled to see what happens next.
Luckily I had the day off work, because I couldn’t put this book down! I have just loved every single one of Kay Correll’s series! The only problem, now I have to wait for the next Parker women/Moonbeam book! A fabulous read!
A Heather Parker Original: Moonbeam Bay Book 3 is by Kay Correll. Secrets will always come out, especially at the wrong moment. Things are looking up at Moonbeam Bay. The feud between Heather and Jesse seems to be moving in the right direction. They are at least talking again after many years. This talking has led to a truce and they finally acknowledged their feelings for each other. Before it could do any further, Jesse has an unknown visitor. A young boy, 15, has come to his door claiming he is Jesse’s son and that his biological mother is Heather Carlsen; but he can’t find her. At the time he acknowledges Blake is his by the paperwork he had, he is angry with Heather. How could she not have told him he was a father and how could she put him up for adoption? Since his adoptive parents had died and his aunt didn’t want him, Jesse is determined to claim Blake as his and bring him up alone. No way would Heather have a say after what she had done.
Evely Parker's daughter, Heather, had always been Olivia's best friend, but when Heather moved away to develop her career as an artist they grew apart. Now Heather has come back to Moonbeam Bay to help her mother recover from her divorce. She finds she rather likes it, but she is still travelling a lot for art shows and to gather clients for graphic projects. Then, there is her old boyfriend, Jesse. They re-connect and then majorly disconnect due to a secret Heather has kept for the sixteen years she was away. It is a fun, light series and this book fits right in.
Great Book To Read Epically If You Read One And Two!
This story was so great, lived how it turned out. Heather and Jessie were so in love but then things changed but it turned out great. I'm sure we will learn more about Patricia in another book. I'm sure whoever reads this book will love it.
I really enjoyed this story in the end. I liked the the characters, except for Patricia. Kind of liked the plot and in the end all was good. However, not a fan of keeping secrets like that, and something is up with that for the next book? Looking forward to reading the next installment of this series.
Heather is back in Moon beam helping her mother and the rest of the family when Jesse bumps into her sketching on the beach. This time Heather does not run off and she and Jesse talk. A truce is found and their relationship returns to normal. Blake, Heather's son, arrives in Moon beam searching for his birth family and Jesse becomes very hurt and angry.
Another great read by Kay Correll. I love that she uses characters and places from some of her other series. This was a great story with quite a twist and yet, a happy ending. Again showing the strength of these women when they stick together.
Your story telling really makes your characters come alive! I've enjoyed each book and look forward to the next. I know that I'll not like coming to the last!
I love books that continue. These books never fail to carry me away to Moonbeam Bay. The Parker women are wonderful, strong women and I wish they were real.
