The second of four serials, 'Deep Domination' picks up right where book 1 left off. Hannah is being held by Jackson, who believes that she is her sister, Harley. With plenty of sexy content, this short read proved to be a steamy choice to pass a little time.
Like the first serial, this one is fast-paced and at times, seems a little rushed. More often than not, that is the case with serials, in my experience. That being said, I like having the story broken into quick, manageable pieces on occasion.
Unlike the first serial, this "book" spent a little more time on character and plot development. Hannah and Jackson spend more time getting to know one another and warring with their conflicting emotions. Flashbacks to past events shed new light on present-day events as well.
This serial ends with a big revelation, which will leave you craving the follow-up book, as intended. I'm curious to see where the story is leading, although I have a pretty good guess. After the big reveal at the end of this one, I have to know what happens.
I will continue the series, but am a little peeved that each serial is costing $2.99 + the add-on expense of Audible narration. It seems kind of like a rip-off to pay the price of a full-length novel for such a short serial. Just sayin'.

Things are all coming to a head.
This book was definitely better than the first and I can’t wait to start the next one. Our anti-Hero Jackson is still looking to get revenge on Harley for falsely accusing him of rape. He spent time in a military prison because of it and is now an arms dealer rather than still in the military or a legitimate businessman.
However, Hannah still has yet to tell Jackson that she is not Harley but is a twin and that Harley did in fact die that day six years ago. Hannah has her reasons, chiefly being she has no proof that she is a twin and not Harley. She doesn’t think Jackson will believe her. Also, he is paying and her aunt and her need that money to keep their home. There are still people out to get her family, I think.
Anyway the romance between the two main characters is steamier than ever. And the tension is crazy. I have to go read this next book.

Pondering the best way to describe how I feel about this book I realized I can do it simply with one word… WOW! Deep Domination is a powerful and erotic story of deception and secrets which picks up right where Dark Domination left us. It completely dominated my mind forcing me to continue reading right through to the end. I was enthralled and absolutely grasped by this novella from start to finish.
Being held captive by the one man who awakened her submissive side, Hannah decides she must hold onto the secret of her true identity for fear that the deal she made with Jackson could fall through if her captor discovered who she really is. But with his visits to her and the sensual moments they share, Hanna struggles with the undeniable feeling she is experiencing of falling for Jackson. As days pass, Hannah begins to question whether it was wise to maintain her secret for fear that the deep connection she feels with Jackson could never become a permanent joining with this powerful and dominant man who captivated her that rainy night six years ago.
Though Jackson has every intention of forcing her to finally admit the truth from the past, when he gazes into Hannah's eyes he begins to fight with his inner self as he starts to feel the return of the man he used to be before the betrayal took away the life he was living. But as the walls around Jackson's soul at times waiver, Hannah and he share the most intensely carnal and mind-blowing connection only to be hindered once again as the memories of the hurt and deception from so long ago returns.
After reading such an amazing story as Deep Domination, it brings forth the struggle in me to express through my review how incredible this series is without spoiling anything for those who have not yet read it. There are definitely some extremely intense scenes between Jackson and Hannah so I would recommend reading the synopsis carefully as that may not be for everyone. That being said, the erotic and passionate connection between these two characters both inside the bedroom as well as outside is evident in every word written which left the story swirling in my mind with wonder and great anticipation of what turns it will take.
Deep Domination is the second installment to Lili Valente's intriguingly erotic and truly transfixing story. As I expected, I was left hanging and gripping my iPad tightly as I flipped to the final page reading the closing words that left me dangling as my mind continued to whirl as I tried to see the conclusion in my head contemplating where Lili Valente will lead these two characters. But alas I am now left awaiting the release of the final book in this series hoping that Jackson and Hannah will end up in each other's arms and in possession of each other’s heart for all eternity.

I'm really liking this. This picks up where book 1 left off. The first chapter goes into detail about why Jackson hates Harley so much. So a major piece of the puzzle right off the bat. Hannah is starting to put some pieces of that puzzle together as well which is making this a very good read. I do hate how short it is and the $$ I'm spending on reading a serial, but it has sucked me in and I can't wait to read the next.
This is a dark read with some pretty HOT, kinky sex in it.

This story is sooooooo delicious! I don't know what to say without giving something juicy away! I really do think the story is more dramatic because I'm listening to the story. I swear the narrators make me wanna reach out and shake them until their teeth rattle with how they draw things out! They are soooooooo good telling the story though!!!

First. Let’s just pretend I’m not a major book nerd who has read over 150 books this year so far. Because what I’m about to say is a terrible thing for a book nerd to do. Lol.
I have the Audible romance package. I needed a few books to listen to today while out. So I downloaded this book because it was in the o-o-mg section of the package. And because I need smut in my life.
I downloaded the book and started it and had absolutely no effing clue wtf was going on. Being the book nerd I am I powered through the book not wanting to DNF just because of the not knowing what the fuck was going on. I was just going to go through it and then be done with it since there were only just over three hours of the book.
I was going to come on here and complain up a storm because I had no fucking clue what in the world was going on. From start to finish I had no clue what was going on. But I pulled through and finished the whole book.
THEN......... I found out this was the second book of a series where you must start with book one. And I am STILL dying at this fact. I finished the book hours ago and still am laughing at my stupidity.
So there. That is why I will not put a star review on this book. I have now ruined this series for myself. While I’m sure it’s super good I can’t start at the beginning. Lmfao. I will say though that the smut was pretty damn good for not knowing wtf was happening.

I was going with this crazy premise but now both characters are trying to go to deep into psycobabble. Her vowing she won't fall into a Stockholm syndrome (that ship has sailed, sister) and him trying to justify reasons why Harley set him up (really dude?)
Like the last book, this ended up with mindfuck for Jackson - I would feel bad for him if his plans hadn't been so nefarious.
Also, I object to him being called a billionaire - which implies he either made or inherited his money. If you made your money through illegal stuff, you are generally called a criminal, even if you have billions. (I mean, El Chapo was called a "drug lord" for a reason even though his net worth was in the billions.)
I'll start book 3 but now not sure if I'll continue.

This book picks up right where book one ends.
Hannah is finding herself drawn to Jackson and his dominate behavior but she is struggling with the lie she is keeping from him. While she wants to confess the truth of who she is, she is afraid of losing this man that she is starting to fall for.
In this book we learn more about Jackson's past and his hatred for Harley (Hannah's twin). Even though he believes he is "breaking" Harley through his domination of her, he finds himself falling deeper under her spell.
The questions I kept asking myself throughout this book were: will Hannah ever come clean to Jackson, will he even believe her and will he still want her once he learns the truth?

This was an amazing read. The story of Jackson and Hannah continues right where part one left off. The story was filled with suspense and was very interesting. The characters were better as the story went on. Jackson is more open in some ways. Hannah is more independent. However, their strengths as individuals makes them that much more compelling when they are together. They have unbelievable chemistry. This book proves that you should never judge a person by their looks alone. The ending was a cliffhanger. However, it is making me wonder how Book 3 - Desperate Domination. Overall, an incredible read.

This is the second instalment and I have to tell you it just keeps getting better. Hannah has kept up the lie and I can honestly say that I don’t blame her; I mean it is working in her favour to a point where Jackson is looking after her in a very sexual way. Jackson is the Dom and Hannah has become his submissive. He is wicked to her at times, especially when she defies him. This story is full of twists, turns and mystery. This is dark, dirty, filthy, erotic and full of suspense. You just can’t get enough. I really am enjoying this series.

In my review for Dark Domination I mentioned that I did not read the summary in the beginning so I would be surprised and I did the same this time around as well. I was so excited to get the ARC since there was a cliffhanger.
Deep Domination starts off right where Dark Domination ended. Jackson is confused by Harley's reaction and Harley has to decide what to do next to keep this man from hurting her more than he has planned.
Hannah doesn't know what Harley did exactly to make this man so angry to the point of revenge. She knows Harley worked her way around men but she must of done something extreme and she is going needs to figure it out so she can make sense of it all. She decides to keep her true identity a secret for now. As of right now, all she knows is that he has changed in the last six years but the chemistry is still there. She wants to be dominated by this man. Owned but also to get deeper. She could see he is weakening but fighting it.
Jackson wants revenge but there is something different about Harley but he can't figure it out. She is either a better actress then he thought or she is truly enjoying the pain he has been giving her and that is turning him on and making it hard on him not to give her the pleasure. He breaks his own rules but will that change the outcome?
Jackson is fucking hot. Yes, he is an ass but you also see the other side of him. It's barely showing but it's there. Hannah sees it and he brings her pleasure, pain and desires she never thought possible.
Will they weaken each other so they have to be open to tell the truth? Will the pain be too much for Hannah? Is the pleasure too much for Jackson?
I thought this was a great second part to their story. I can't wait for part three!!

Holy hotness! This book was short, sexy, edgy, intense, raw, and dark. This book was crazy hot and made me have to take a breather. I devoured this book is one sitting, craving to know more. That ending was absolutely killer as this is part of a series. You've been warned . . .
This is the second part of Jackson and Hannah's story. Hannah now knows her captor is the same man that set her body on fire all those years ago. Now, he is set out to break her and revenge his past. But obstacles get in the way and when discoveries are made... it could be a gam changer.
Jackson is growing on me even if I still have tons of questions... sure he is hot as hell. He is also so bossy and demanding that you want to smack him then kiss the hell out of him. And good Lord, the man makes panties wet and women pant but he is . . . dark. And Hannah, my heart empathizes with her. She is truly stuck in between a rock and hard place. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for these two.

This part of the series was seriously HOT and will have me with sleepless nights until I am able to read part three.
Lili has really turned up the heat with this installment and has you feeling sorry for both Hannah and Jackson with how Harley has treated them.
I really hope that things end well with them and that Jackson can be healed by Hannah and her soft heart and that the family curse can be solved.
This part of the series was seriously HOT and will have me with sleepless nights until I am able to read part three.
Lili has really turned up the heat with this installment and has you feeling sorry for both Hannah and Jackson with how Harley has treated them.
I really hope that things end well with them and that Jackson can be healed by Hannah and her soft heart and that the family curse can be solved.

Is it tormenting or pleasuring, pain or feels good the answer to these questions is keeping Hannah in a fog. will her true identity be discovered and what will happen if it does. the questions suck you in. the punishment and sex leave you panting for more. The conflict in Jackson's mind grabs you and sucks you in till you cant put this book Dow.
A quick read with very dark material sure to curl your toes.

An improvement on the first part of this quadrilogy.
Hannah and Jackson are finding some middle ground. Though I still find it very hard to believe he thinks that she is her sister, Harley, with whom he also had an intimate relationship.
We get the reasons why Jackson wishes to punish. But we are told Harley is dead and Hannah decides to make Jackson happy by pretending to be Harley - which is silly.
Be warned this one too ends on a cliff hanger and you need to have all 4 books before embarking on this one.

I read this book, as well as the other in the series, as a box set from Amazon, so despite the fact that I'm reviewing them separately on Goodreads, the reviews will read the same. :-) My praise will apply to all the books.
Honestly, I'm a little tired of the billionaire stories. I've thought for the last few months that they are a cop-out for writers who have a problem writing a tougher story. After all, it is really easy to write a story if the guy has enough money to make anything he wants happen. No plot necessary, just wing it. Well, that's what I was thinking until I read this series. I'd purchased this a few months ago, but never had time to finish the entire series. Wow. This book is HOT. Just plain, unadulterated, hot. It has a plot that doesn't have anything at all to do with a billionaire doing whatever he wants, at least not at first. The protagonists are well developed, the narrative is well thought-out, the dialogue is interesting and moves the story along, and most of all, the ending is perfect for this book. I'm impressed with the authors ability to take a well-used billionaire theme and turn it into something both dark and light, seductive and primitive, and full of action and suspense too! I'm glad I discovered this series, you will be too.

My review is written after listening to the audio version of this book, the wonderful narration by Summer Roberts and Tyler Donne brings Jackson and Hannah's story to life so well.
I loved the first book which left me so eager to listen to the rest of Hannah and Jackson's story.
Their story continues to build and has so much tension as Jackson and Hannah delve deeper into his dark side and Hannah begins to enjoy it! Hannah wants to tell him the truth but can she? How will Jackson react if he learns the truth? He continues to try and break Hannah but her strength is something that amazes him, he's experiencing so many mixed emotions. The characters are so well-drawn and their relationship is so tantalisingly hot!
I loved every minute of it and can't wait to listen to the next!

I just cannot understand why romance authors continue to use false rape allegations as plot points. Even in taboo and dark romance novels there is no reason to perpetuate the myth that women claim false rape allegations as a means by which to ruin men's lives. The narrative is anti-feminist and quite frankly flagrantly disregards the experiences of rape survivors who are forced to go through the horrors of the judicial system in hopes of receiving justice for the atrocities that were committed against them.

Great cliffhanger!
This story was filled with all the tension you would expect after reading the previous one. The major difference? I never thought Jackson would be the way he was with Hannah. I expected him to be harder, but I liked that he wasn't. It broke the smallest barrier for him and Hannah to question everything about each other. I did love his confession of his former self at the end. If what he is seeing is to be believed, he was unknowingly doing the same thing to Hannah, that Harley did to him. Great sequel! Can't wait to read the next!

I loved the first and couldn't get the second fast enough. Of course, each in this series is a cliff hanger, but with them being part of the "Romance Series", I could get the next one within seconds. The story between Hanna and Jackson is very turbulent. The author did such a great job of grabbing your attention and keeping it. Couldn't put it down. The narrators were awesome as well. They were the icing on the cake.

Again I Lost interest in book 3 but this book was OK and ended and a cliffhanger as they all do. Jackson continues to torment her and you get a little bit more backstory and to Jackson and Hailey‘s relationship. You also get a backstory and to Hannah and Haley‘s upbringing. Meanwhile Jackson and Hanna grow closer and he notices differences in “Haley’s” personality. At the end of the book she runs away and he gets A picture of the twins and realizes he may have Hannah.
