This isn’t your typical story about Greek gods. If you’re expecting to read about how a girl was fated for a god who will now love only her for the rest of eternity, or perhaps a goddess who had been waiting hundreds of years just to fall in love with that single boy and now her life is complete… well, this is not that story. These gods are beautiful, and they know it. They’re promiscuous and find no reason to hide it. They stay angry for hundreds of years, plotting their petty revenge for even the most insignificant of slights. If you’re a means to an end, they have no qualms about manipulating you to obtain the outcome they desire. That includes your death. Humans, as fun as they are for the gods, are disposable since their life only registers with a god for less than a heartbeat in their eternity. Join Lena as she navigates her way through the world of the gods with all their beautiful temptation and frightening adversaries. She adventures through the deadly and enchanted. By her side, and sometimes in her bed, are her friends, an array of terrifying, gorgeous beings. And, increasingly, as she journeys through each book, her eyes are opened a little more to the truth of what the gods are: savage, unforgiving, fickle, and ridiculously promiscuous. Except that, in the end, gods don’t actually have friends. They don’t trust each other or any other soul. So, who Lena can trust in a world that has turned her life upside down is never really clear.
**These are full-length, mature high school/new adult paranormal romance (and a budding reverse harem) with the introduction of a variety of many different sexual orientations and situations that will be further expanded upon and explored in later books. This book contains plenty of cursing, friendship, sins, battles with swords and fire, traversing through hell, magic, gods, and a smidgen of MM. There is alluded to not fully consensual sex. The first three books are an origin story for the FMC. You may not see the harem for several books, but do not fret! It’s definitely coming. There will not always be a happy ending for many characters. This box set should not be read as a standalone and does end with a bit of a cliffhanger as well as unresolved plot points that will be picked up in future books.
Crea lives in upstate New York with her dog and husband. She has been writing since grade school, when her second grade teacher had her class keep writing journals. She has a habit of creating secondary, and often time tertiary, characters that take over her stories. When she can't fall asleep at night, she thinks up new scenes for her characters to act out. This, of course, is how most of her meant-to-be-thrown-away characters tend to end up front and center - and utterly swoon-worthy! Don't ask her how many book boyfriends she has...
When not writing, Crea is an avid reader. Her TBR pile is several hundred books high (don't even look at her kindle wish list or the unread books on her tablet). Sometimes, she enjoys crafting; sometimes, exploring nature; sometimes, traveling. Mostly, she enjoys putting her characters on paper and breathing life into them. Oh, and sleeping. Crea loves to sleep!
This series has been so good! Lena has this complicated and strange friendship with all these gods. There are many events that happen throughout showing their true colors. You learn more about Lena which she always has seemed a tad mysterious to me. Each book has been exciting and eventful and I feel like I just can’t get enough. I can’t wait to read the next book and learn more of Lena and her relationships with these gods!
I'll start by saying that if you haven't read this series, buy the boxset. Not only will you have the first three books of Lena's story, but you will also have additional content at the end in the form of short stories and cut scenes. Now, as far as RH goes, this is very slow burn, but the author mentions it right from the start since it is the origin story. We can still see that Lena has more than one love interest but it does end in a bit of a mystery concerning the identity of the three gods she'll end up with. That's a mystery I can't wait to have answers to since I speculated so much on it! The story is really great and full of action. It is based on Greek mythology but we also see a lot of other pantheons. There are a lot of characters, especially at the beginning, but you really learn to know and love them. I definitely recommend it!
This is an amazing collection of stories. Each book is an amazing read which will grab you and keep you reading until you finish it. Each of the books is a fantastic story and the characters are amazing. You will fall in love with these characters and want to know more about. The great thing is that you have these 3 books in one place so as you finish you have the next one ready to go. This is an amazing collection that needs to be read, no doubt about it.
Are you serious!? Honestly, at this point it has become offensive that Crea isn't dominating ALL of the best seller lists.
The writing is INCREDIBLE! I'm someone who normally HATES third person POV, like despise it, but I've never once had a problem with her books. Mind you, THIS series is in 1st person POV, I just wanted it mentioned.
Now, I've been officially pulled back into the fantasy genre which I've been out of for a minute. It started with the Chronicles series really. I'm deeply invested now. I chewed through these three books in just a couple of days. I know without a doubt I will always one click Crea, ALWAYS.
So I have already read the 3 books in this box set but I wanted the exclusive content. And it was almost another entire book worth of content! Over 200 pages of deleted scenes and differing POV. The exclusive content also bridges the time gap between book 3 and book 4 which I am starting next. It made me love the characters even more, especially the ones we didn’t see much of previously like Morey and Dev. Delete is still my favorite 😍😍😍😍
4,5* books 1-3 : 4* exclusive scenes: 5* I LOVED LOVED LOVED the extra scenes Delete's scene just made me wish it as real instead of an alternate story avenue but then Dev's extra bit between books 3 and 4 just made me waaayyyy more excited for book 4! It was also the first time I enjoyed reading from a male POV than I had from the females and it gave me hope for a future with less urges to slap Lena and Yndea
Holy hell… Obviously the IS books 1-3 are amazing. So much action, drama, love, world building, great multifaceted characters. I loved having the books ready for me back to back, but really… those bonus bits… hot damn! One may have been an alternate version, but it was ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 and amazing to read. And Dev’s POV, I’m even more ready for the next set of books!
It was different from most of her books. There isn’t immediate sexiness. The story is downright amazing though. The world she paints is so real, I feel like I could really go there. I WISH I could really go there! The characters are wonderful although… I kind of hated her bestie in these books. What would a good story be without some people that make you go “ugh, please just ….. not”.

This book kept me interested in every detail and it was so good. It had some great characters and then there were the ones you wanted to strangle. Lol. That is what makes it great though because you are not supposed to love every character. I can't wait to read the next boxset.
This is a fantastic box set containing the first three books of the series plus some bonus content and wow I'm absolutely hooked. The characters and world building ate amazing. I love the mix of different mythologies. Crea Tehran is a great story teller. I'm excited to keep reading the next books and to find out what happens next.
This box set covers the first three books in the Immortal Stream series as well as containing some exclusive content which makes the boxset worth it without even talking about anything else. This is probably going to be a bit of a longer review because I’m covering what I liked out of three books. One of the things I really liked about the first book is that it was easy to connect with the FMC, Lena, as she was learning the way of the gods right alongside us as the reader. It made her relatable without adding any of her other quirk in. One thing that I’ve noticed about books written by Crea Reitan is that I always seem to feel quite strongly about the characters quite early on, it seems to be a magic quality she has, and with this I found I had an instant dislike of a certain character in the first book even when they hadn’t really done anything at the beginning and it turns out that my dislike was not unfounded. The second book added a dual POV aspect which made the book more interesting as it was two mortal perspectives you were getting and also you got to see how they regarded things differently and this added another layer to the story telling. I also liked karma catching up with a certain character from the first book and I couldn’t have been happier with the outcome. The third book left me with conflicting emotions, although I want to be clear at this point that I absolutely loved it. I was conflicted because some of the characters that I liked from the first two books showed their true colours in this book and I wasn’t expecting it at all. Finally. The additional content added a new perspective on a few events from the book and The Lost Months story has me really excited to start the next book in the series and see what happens next. Overall, I would strongly recommend giving these books a read, the story is slow burn and there isn’t a lot of spice when compared to other books I’ve read by Crea Reitan but I know there are a lot more books to read in this series and if the additional content is anything to go by, the books are only going to get better.
I forgot to add that I loved all the popcultcha references throughout the books and I think I recognised most of them.
I love this series and box sets make it so much easier to read as you can just plough through three of the books before you need to get the next. I have this in e format and paperback admit is one of my go to series to reread. Amazing characters and a well written story with excitement amazing world building and romance it’s slow burn but keeps you absolutely glued to the page, highly recommend as it’s one of my all time favourite series
