I'll be honest I disliked Knox he wasn't a alpha for me.. he was the one running away and for what? Because of the age difference I hate when Heros do that.. Blakely did alllll the chasing until she was giving up that Knox knew he messed up and only way he changed and didn't care was because he got hurt.. and started to man up.. but to be honest it was to late for me.. he made Blakely cry few times with his Push away.. I don't have time for a beta guy.. and his dumb "if I can't have her no one can" you honestly don't deserve her.. and i wish Blake woman's up and let him chase her but nope she didn't let him grovel nothing just dove right in.

Ok I admit it I bought it for the cover. I needed an age gap romance for a book challenge and this one jumped out and grabbed my eye. It was a short, quick little cowboy romance that hit the mark.

Blakely has been in love with her older neighbor, Knox since she was 16. She decides that now that she is legal, she’s going to stop being subtle and just go after what she wants.
But Knox still has reservations about pursuing anything with her since she’s just turned eighteen and he feels she has her whole life ahead of her. Through a series of mixed signals and miscommunication, these two do more damage than good and end up hurting each other.
But when he suffers an injury that puts his whole life in prospective, Knox realizes that life can be cut short and he shouldn’t let something as little as their age difference get in the way of something lasting with Blakely.
I liked the characters and I liked the plot. I really liked the two MCs having a history together which makes their love story more convincing. But this needs another read through with the editor. There’re a few grammar mistakes which aren’t a deal breaker because you still get the gist of the story. The major issue for me was that the story sometimes felt like it jumped around a lot and changed from present tense to past tense in a few scenes that did confuse me.
There’s also some words missing - or maybe it was a formatting issue? The page breaks that help to indicate a time change within the story weren't always differentiated and so I thought we were in one scene only to have it actually starting a new scene.
Overall, I liked it but some of the above did pull me out of the story a few times. I loved the ending though :) It was cute.

I love Cowboy Romances, and I love Tory Baker's style of storytelling.. Combine both of them, and Yeehaw, we have a winner!
Blakely has a thing for her hot, bull-riding cowboy neighbour Knox for over two years. Knox feels an intense attraction for her too, but he feels he's too old for her so doesn't act on it.

Knox & Blakey
This was a quick read featuring a couple that are expected by both of their families & friends. I wasn't keen on how Knox teased Blakey with words & some actions before running. I didn't see any work by him to apologise.
Overall it was an okay read but I can see major improvement in the authors more recent books and I was expecting more from this as I didn't realise how far back in the order it was.

May 9, 2021Knox and Blakely are one hot together. I love me a good ol’ cowboy and everytime Knox would say “darling” had me swooning.
He was one stubborn cowboy however and I’m glad Blakely didn’t forgive him easily and made him work for it. It was short and flows quickly but I loved their chemistry and the steam and sweetness thrown in.

I loved the dynamics of this whole family. Everyone as a whole, made it work twice as enjoyable. Blakely has been in love with her next-door neighbor, Knox since she was sixteen. When she saw him compete in a bull riding event, at a local rodeo, her heart was his. Now, at eighteen, she is going after her man with a little help from, Trace, Knox’s brother. Now, there is a fifteen-year gap in their ages, between her and Knox. The gap between her and Trace is only seven years.
She and Trace, are extremely close. He is helping her get, Knox, to notice her. Oh yeah, Knox has noticed her, and he is just as enamored with her. He believes he is too old for her, that she has her whole life ahead of her, he would only be a joke then. But just when you think, oh gosh, finally, Knox blows it. To the point where you think he broke her. And you want to kick his ---!
See what has these two at odds, and what happens in a blink of an eye, that changes their world forever. The characters were funny, endearing, and straightforward. The chemistry between her and Trace seemed more suited, especially Knox acting like a crotchety old man, until him, and that bull had their come to Jesus moment. Enjoy the book. Are they a couple with an active sex life? You bet your life they are. But it’s not the focal point of the story. There is an actual story. Poor Knox never stood a chance. She may be younger but she is mighty.

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with!
By the time you’ve figured out who is who and how deep hate can run, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter!
Can’t say I didn’t warn you.
Age seems to be the issue with these two Knox sexy as all get out, 15 years older than the women he wants and does everything in his power to not even be in the same room with her let alone near her and feels like she should live. Blakely is younger but knows what she wants, who she wants and has know for a while. Fate has other plans for them she throws together at a dinner and putting them in a position where they can’t keep denying what they feel for each other despite age, but Knox only see her age. Blakely decides to not do the age thing and Knox decides to stay away until he is hurt doing a redo stunt sometimes injuries have a way of waking you up to what’s right in front of you, but will Blakely give him another chance, and will they find happiness despite the age difference?

Blakely has known Knox and his younger brother Trace all her life but everything changed when she was sixteen and she did the unthinkable and fell in love with Knox. But she is nearly nineteen and is determined to get her man despite the age difference. However he seems to be set on pushing her away and after a steamy encounter in the barn which he immediately regrets she is left heartbroken and is seriously thinking of giving up on ever getting Knox to love her. Is it time to give up on her fantasy of her and Knox?
Knox McCray is the oldest of the McCray boys and has lived next door to Blakely all her life, working on his parents ranch and has everything in his life that he wants except for one thing that is the girl who enjoys torturing her daily, the one girl he should never want, she is too young for a jaded man like himself. He thinks that he is saving her from a life with him but is he really ready to push away the best thing to happen to him and has he left it too late to tell her how he feels?
I have to be honest and I have to say that Knox was not my favourite character and at times I thought he was way more childish than the heroine. But I loved Trace and am desperate to read his book. Still a great read and I would definitely give this a go. 4* read.

Wow I loved this book. I loved that the characters already knew each other, that they lived on neighbouring farms but they were close farms where the families were super close too. The FC was great, I liked that she was strong and independent and she knew what she wanted and wasn't scared to go after it, and the MC was trying to be a gentleman but he could only hold out so long then he became a man on a mission. The age gap made the story as well I do enjoy a good age gap, and even though it wasn't a large gap the MC was very mature and authoritative and was used to taking charge and the FC was young and displayed a lot of innocence whilst still being confident enough to stand up for herself. I loved that the story had that pivot moment where it all changed and the tension changed from will they won't they, to will she give in and will he win and I loved every second of it. This book came across as very relatable and realistic with the family dynamics and interactions and I think the mention and introduction of secondary characters did well to open up the rest of this series and to also give the story more bulk, it wasn't one dimensional and made you crave even more. The ending was great and I cannot wait to read the rest of this series.

I was hooked from the first page to the last. This book had everything - family drama, family meddling, conflict, friendship, humor, sexual tension, passion, explosive dynamics, sizzling chemistry, and oh so much smoking heat. This story is about Blake and Knox. Blake is 19 and she has been in love with Knox since when she was 16. She adores him and is always trying to get his attention. Knox is in his 30’s and he thinks he is too old for Blake. Knox ranches next door to Blake and they see each other often. Everyone in their families know the situation and they are not afraid to meddle to try and get them together. Knox has tried to stay away from Blake but he is teetering on the fence. Everything changes when there is an accident. The characters will put you on an emotional roller coaster - ups and downs, twists and turns, lust and love, hot and sexy passion. The characters are dynamic, lovable, spicy, sassy and feisty. This story entertaining and enjoyable. This story is about living, loving, healing, making choices and finding “the one”. It is a fantastic read!

Knox and Blakely are neighbors and she's been in love with him for years. He's a lot older but she doesn't care - she knows he's it for her, Until they cross a line in the barn and he runs leaving her hurt and embarrassed. Knox wants Blakely but is stubborn and feels that she should experience life and not be tied down to an older cowboy. Everything changes at a rodeo they're both at when Knox gets injured. Now finally Knox is seeing his future clearly and it's Blakely. He's done fighting it and sets out to make Blakely his. I wish she would have made Knox work for her forgiveness but instead she goes all in and helps Knox in his recovery. He does loves her and is now determined to show her. I love how Blakely didn't hesitate to take care of Knox when he was injured. I loved this couple once Knox got over his issues with their age. I really loved Knox's brother Trace and his relationship with both characters.

Blakely may be young but she’s known that she wants Knox and has for a few years. She isn’t afraid to take a chance but when she does, it doesn’t work out exactly the way she hopes.
It takes an serious accident for Knox to see the woman in front of him and knowing he has to take the chance and make her his.
I absolutely love their story! Their attraction to each other, Blakely’s determination, Knox’s strength and yumminess, their parents and their schemes and matchmaking made this book for me! It was perfect!

Harder was exactly what I have come to expect from Tory Baker and yet she managed to surprise me. Blakely and Knox have know each other for a while but she is younger than him, quite a bit. So he feels bad about how much he desires her. He is conflicted and yet he breaks down and kisses her. He goes a bit farther and then freaks out about how far he did go. His behavior hurts Blakely and she vows to move on. He does come to his senses after a bit of a nudge from the universe and he starts to atone for his reaction. Blakely is still a bit of a softie in terms of forgiveness but still makes him work for it. My only problem here is that we don't get to see him really work for it. We hear about it in the past tense. It was a page turner, I had to see what would happen next. I cannot wait to see Knox's brother Trace get tied up in knots over a woman in his book!

Knox and Blakely live on neighboring farms and are both attracted to each other. Knox is 15 years older than Blakely and tries his best to stay away despite how much he wants her. One night after a family potluck dinner, they give in to their desires but Knox runs away from Blakely. Blakely decides after that incident that she isn't going to put herself back through the push and pull with Knox. During one of his riding events at the rodeo, Knox is charged at by the bull he was riding and was injured. His injury jump started him on making Blakely his no matter what. I absolutely loved this book and am so happy it's the first of a new series! I am so looking forward to the rest of the series.

I loved this book. I loved Blakely and Knox together! The connection and the chemistry between this two was amazing and intense. Blakely may be young but she knows what she wants and that is Knox. Knox's wants Blakely more than his next breath but there age difference is a huge hang up for him. I loved the push and pull between these two throughout this book. I loved the even though Blakely is young, she is sassy and isn't afraid to speak her mind. I thought that the HEA was wonderfully sweet and much deserved. I can't wait for the rest of the series. I really enjoyed this book and I would recommend it and Ms. Tory as a great and must read author.

Age is just a number.
I really liked this story. It was a short age gap story that was entertaining and enjoyable. The characters were interesting and likable. Trace cracked me up so much. The way he tried to help Knox and Blakely get together was hilarious. Even the moms were in on the push to get them together. Knox wanted to be with Blakely but felt that he was too old for her. Blakely wanted to be with Knox and didn’t care about the age difference. They were both attracted to each other. Knox told Blakely that she needed to make sure that she wasn’t alone with him as she was too tempting. Blakely was happy to push her luck. I loved their happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.

Knox pushed away Blakey so many times. Just because of their age gap, and if he was a man he shouldn’t have let Blakey pursued him all the time, she was the woman should be cherished, but not the one to be hurt.
I could understand Hero wanted to push away heroine when he thought maybe it was good for her. But not that many times pushing away.
I am annoyed when each time I read heroine was hurt so much so decided to give up chasing hero, and then hero FINALLY KNEW he fucked up, and regrets and determined to be man up?
I mean, Those kind of wrenching and twisted plots are truly unnecessary, since this was not a bully romances, right?
Hmmm….I just wanted to read sweet alpha stories, not escaping hero like this.

I could understand Hero wanted to push away heroine when he thought maybe it was good for her. But not that many times pushing away.
I am annoyed when each time I read heroine was hurt so much so decided to give up chasing hero, and then hero FINALLY KNEW he fucked up, and regrets and determined to be man up?
I mean, Those kind of wrenching and twisted plots are truly unnecessary, since this was not a bully romances, right?
Hmmm….I just wanted to read sweet alpha stories, not escaping hero like this.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This book starts off the Bad Boys of Texas series. It is a short, fast paced story about Knox and Blakely. These two have had their eye on the other for years. He is older than her so never crossed that line. He fights his attraction to her until he cannot deny it any longer. Blakely is mature for her age. She does not think he will ever return her feelings. A mad bull changes everything for them. Their story is sweet with some steam. I thought the characters were perfect together.

Knox and Blakely have grown up next to each other, and despite a 15 year age difference, Blakely has a huge crush on Knox. Knox, despite being attracted to Blakely is also worried about the age difference. Through a series of events, they finally come together and get their HEA. I was frustrated that the writing seemed to jump around some, and with Knox having an attitude of “I don’t want to make a move on her, but I don’t want anyone else to have her either “. Overall, cute story, but flow was a bit choppy.

I cannot wait for more of the Bad Boys of Texas series after reading Knox & Blakey’s love story! These cowboys and cowgirls were the perfect mix of sweet, sultry, and unrequited love. The age gap was what was holding Knox back, but when faced with the realization of life without Blakey he sure turned his self around fast! The story was heart warming, both of their families were so supportive of them being endgame, and we got a decent amount of steamy and HEA. It also didn’t hurt that Blakey was such a boss and could do anything including taking care of their business, well being, and being just awesome all around. 5 stars!!

Loved Blakely and Knox
Blakley Johnston has crushed on her neighbor, Cowboy Knox McCray for a few years now. Now that she is 18, she is making her move. She has some help in the form Trace, Knox's younger brother.
Knox has taken noticed of Blakely, at 33 he is to old and broken down for her. An injury at the Rodeo, puts Blakely in the position to play nurse to Knox. His mom and hers are away on a mini vacation. Both their dad along with Trace are busy with the farm/ranch. Knox doesn't stand a chance
A great quick read, sweet and steamy younger women, older man, Cowboy romance. Great epilogue to wrap up their story. Can't wait for Trace's story.

Blakely and Knox story is a struggle of wills. Blakely knew she loved Knox when she was sixteen, not an adult she is determine to make her move. Oh but Knox is not comfortable with the age gap, even though he wants to be with her more than anything. Harder is a intense story that will take you to the brink of danger before Knox realizes what he is missing out on. I love the hand the mom's have in trying to get Know to wake up and act on his feelings.
Harder is a great story with some ups and downs, and points where you just want you shake Knox and say " Really". Grab and dive into the story.

Blakely has had feelings for her neighbor Knox for awhile so when she turns eighteen she decides its time to show him how she feels. Knox has feelings for Blakely but thinks he is too old for her and that she needs to experience life more. Knox is able to keep his distance until he gets injured and then Blakey gets her chance with him. Will he finally admit that he wants to be with her? Can they get their happy ending?
This is a great story that once I started it I didn't want to put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

I absolutely love this book! I think it's one of my favorites!!
Knox's and Blakely have known each other for a while! She fell in love with him at 16. Now she's legal she's determined to win him over. Knox on the other hand refuse to give in. He says " he's to old for her" . Oh but the sparks do fly 😁 . This is such a great story, you get all the good stuff, sexiness, positive cowboy, everything you love you'll get! Definitely worth the time to read it!!! There's a lot I left out in this review because we'll can't give away all the good stuff!!!
