July 16, 2021I actually started this on release day in May and put it down. I haven’t given it any further thought until I got notice that the next book was released 😳. Hopefully I can come back to this one later? It obviously wasn’t holding my attention the first go around.

It’s no secret this is my favorite author. I admit I love all of her books. Some more than others. I figured this one would be one I loved but not as much because it’s kink. My favorites tend to have more sweetness than bite with their kink letting me be more emotionally attached. It’s like the scenes between a Master and sub. While the sub may enjoy what’s going on, some things keep them in subspace while others of them flirting with it or just out of reach. Surprisingly that wasn’t the case here. I stayed connected through it all. I was really surprised when a few scenes didn’t throw me out. I actually had to force myself to put it down so I wouldn’t finish it too soon. And this has the best line ever!! Let’s just say that there is a certain show with a very smart guy with a talent for making anything work for him that I’ll always see with a kinky twist from now on. And even laughing at that didn’t throw me out. Seriously don’t let things you don’t normally go for keep you from reading any of this author’s books. You will be thanking yourself and thanking the author for giving us such beautiful characters who steal our hearts. I especially liked that the boys are becoming good friends. That’s that extra touch that gives even more depth to this amazing world. So does the familiar faces and locations. You can bet I’ll be reading this again come release day.

I was so happy to get this book. I've been looking forward to reading about Warner and his pizza guy since the teasers in Bound to You.
Warner has the hots for his ex pizza guy (Ridley) but is unsure what to do since Ridley left his pizza job and Warner fears he's lost his chance.
After they reconnect they come to an agreement.
"If I'm understanding everything you've said, you're looking for something exclusive but casual in the sense that you don't have a lot of time to devote to a relationship. You also want to submit, but you don't have a lot of experience in the lifestyle. Is this correct?"
It was great to see the other guys. I particularly like Asa. His abrasiveness and blunt manner I find endearing and refreshing. I'm looking forward to finding out what is going on with Niall and Julian and Julian's new sub...
Warner and Ridley were super hot together and you could definitely feel the connection between them. They fit together perfectly and the complications that could have been an issue between them were overcome with support and compassion.

I have been excited at the prospect of reading this book, due to the glimpses of Warner and his pizza delivery guy provided earlier in the series, and I was not at all disappointed. Ridley and Warner were amazing together! These men didn't shy away from their feelings or their kinks, and their romance was steamy. This book contained the humor that is always present in this author's stories, and I had to lower the temperature on my A/C during the BDSM scenes. Warner doled out pleasure and pain in such a delightful way.
Ridley's personality was a great mix of shy, devious, and curious, and all Warner wanted to do was give him everything he could possibly desire. I loved everything about these two. I also enjoyed seeing Asa's reactions to Ridley and Warner becoming a couple, and his efforts to understand things outside his own comfort zone. I can't wait to see more of the friendship between Ridley and Asa in the future.
This series is sexy and fun, and this installment is particularly hot. I recommend reading this with a cold drink and a fan because it is very hot!

Life has taken many unexpected turns over the last year for Ridley and no matter what else life decides to send at him, he refuses to allow it to tear his new family apart. Ridley was delivering pizza as a secondary job to have enough money to keep his family in their home. He delivers to Warner, every Friday night, a handsome and commanding older man, who he doesn't think he stands a chance with, until a chance encounter in a coffee shop. When the young cute pizza guy stops delivering his pizza, Warner thinks the man of his dreams is lost. Except the young man shows up with pizza and a interesting arrangement in mind.
Ridley and Warner compliment each other so well, I really enjoyed getting to know both of them better. We got brief glimpses of both in previous books, which just made me want their story even more. Seeing more of Asa was also nice, especially his reactions to Ridley and Warner's relationship. His mind is probably an interesting place of crazy thoughts. It was nice to see friendships starting between Ridley, Asa and Landon start to grow.

Warner doesn't like leaving things to fate but when the mean of his dreams who he thought he had allowed slipping away turns up at his door with pizza, his smile and a no strings attached proposition he has to think whether he wants those strings too.
I really enjoyed this story with the way that Asa from the previous book played a role in the story, the way that They were perfect for each other and the things that they got up to which were definitely not for children to witness. Warner was the perfect Dom who did what he could to support his boy until he knew the whole story and then did what he could to accept everything in this life. Easy to read, feel and understand. This story contains mature MM content with a BDSM-like D/s relationship and lots of inventive ways that Warner used to please Ridley.

Asa has instigated a fantastic relationship between Ridley, the pizza guy, and Warner. These two have a good connection and their chemistry is fantastic. Ridley has his secrets, but Warner is willing to allow them for now.
I like how they mesh so well together and how they are perfect in their desired roles in their relationship. Warner is perfect for Ridley and helps him to let loose his secrets and his stress. He welcomes the chance to help Warner in his daily life and with all the changes that have happened to him.
Ridley makes Warner feel complete. His acceptance of Warner's need to control allows them both to feel loved and connected to each other.
I really liked these guys and I can't wait to check in on them in the next book in this series.

I love this series! I can’t decide which couple I like best. Since they are do different, maybe there is no point in trying to compare. Warner and Ridley are both super sweet. I love their drawn out meet-cute, although most of it is described in book two. I like that Ridley is so self-possessed and already so comfortable with his submissive nature. I also like the ongoing by play between the group of friends, especially Asa and Ridley as some of their interactions made me laugh out loud

Warner is pretty freaking good at taking his boy apart. And Ridley boy is pretty amazing at letting go for his Master. I absolutely adored the scene with Ridley's punishment for not telling Warner everything stressing the boy out. That was some fantastic confessing there...think I gotta go take a break while I reflect on that chapter.
