Who doesn't love a good enemies to lovers romance and mafia is just an icing on top. I absolutely loved this book. It was so good that I finish reading 50% of it in one sitting. Their constant bickering had me laughing. Dario and his protectiveness, yes he is not possessive and I loved that aspect of him. I do like possessive guys but sometimes it gets too much...and i start to hate it. But Kelsey showed a really good balance of both. Sara, my bae, I loved her. She is sassy af and strong too. I love how independent she is and brave. The car chase!!! Woww!!!
There was smut...alot of it.
The epilogue was perfect. Can't wait to read the next one which is a lawyer/mafia romance.. so excited!!!😍

This books is a fantastic sequel to Born by Honor! Dario and Sara are perfectly matched in wit, as well as temper, and though they are almost completely opposites to John and Elisa, they are a perfect complement. If you like twists and surprises and shocking events, this book (and the series) is the one for you!
I don't want to say much, so as not to give any spoilers, but you will NOT be disappointed in anything that happens in this story.

Great Steamy Mafia Romance..
Dario Colombo your typical playboy. He loves fast cars and easy women in that order. Being the little brother in a mafia family ensures that he doesn't have to take anything serious.His life is perfectly carefree until it suddenly it isn't. It all begins when he is shot by an unknown person which leads him to begin nursed back by the beautiful Sarah Codutti. She is the first woman who doesn't react to him like he expects, she has sass and gives back as good as she gets. Their physical chemistry is explosive but she doesn't want to give in to him.A possessiveness he never thought he would feel for anyone keeps on drawing him back to her. All this when his life is a mess and is getting more difficult.
Sarah Codutti just got out of a bad relationship and is not ready to begin another. She is a mafia princess who has been raised to be a trophy wife to a mafia don. What her parents and she wants are two different thing but she knows duty to the family comes first, that is until she meets Dario. I was lucky enough to receive as arc of the second book in the Born In Crime series by Kelsey and I really enjoyed it!
This book follows Dario and Sara who are relations of the two characters in the first book. I absolutely loved them! They were so interesting and funny and their chemistry was undeniable.
Dario was just a dream boat.. he even rivalled his brother John who was unreal in the first book! He was hilarious, sweet, strong and I loved how protective he was of Sara.
I loved Sara too, she was mafia princess but she was strong willed and independent and I loved that about her.
I really loved the development of their relationship as I love an enemies to lovers trope! This book was super good and I’m already excited for the next one! 🤍

I was very happy to be provided with this ARC copy after reading Bound by Honour and I absolutely loved it.
Dario knew Sara through their families but when the shooting incident happened and she was there to help him, he realized that there was more to her than just being a mafia princess. Sara decided a while ago that she’s not looking for any kind of relationship specially not with someone in the same line of life however their chemistry was too strong to resist.
They both had some challenges thrown their way but with the support of each other and their family they got their HEA afterall ♥️
I would highly recommend you read this ♥️♥️♥️

A great second book by Kelsey, I thoroughly enjoyed Sara and Dario story, such feisty personalities.
Sara doesn't want a relationship, but she meets Dario and tries her hardest to keep her distance. Dario doesn't want a relationship, but Sara may change that.
The angst, the fire and the passion where smouldering between the two.
Action, shocking secrets and near death scenes that made my jaw drop.
What a great read, I'm eagerly anticipating book 3 - Logan and Bella story.

I really liked this book. I liked it better than the first one. In this book there was more emotions and talking. Most of the talking was honest and right to the point, they never deceit each other and I loved that.
First chapter and we were already getting into it! Dario is my favorite Colombo brother. I love him so much. He realised a lot, learned a lot about himself, what he wanted to do and who he wanted to be. He recognised he wanted to be better for Sara. She never asked him, never demanded anything because they're from the same world. She understood him and he her.
Sara is just fierce and badass. I love how she knows what she wants, knows how to protect herself and can handle almost any situation. She's calm and collected with her feelings and actions. She's a fearless mafia princess.
I also loved what we saw from John and Elisa, their relationship after their the first book and how the kept evolving. They are also a huge part of Sara's and Dario's lives.
For me, the beginning was hard to get into. There was a lot of inner monologues and not a lot of interactions between Sara and Dario. I thought this was an enemies to lovers but it was more of a I don't want to like you, which was great. There was angst because of that, and I loved it. But it was pretty long in the beginning. I also so part of the plot twist coming. But OMG the other part? Noup, never in a hundred years would I've guessed that. I'm so excited to read the next book!!!

Dario Columbo, younger brother to the infamous mafia underboss John is smokin’ hot, and he knows it. He’s also cocky, arrogant, and a womanizer, and he knows that too. Sara Codutti is a smart, sassy raven-haired take no prisoners mafia princess. And is the perfect person to bring the high-ranking Mafioso Dario to his knees. He isn’t going to know what hit him. The like/dislike, love/hate relationship between them was seriously like foreplay. The drama and danger that followed them helped heighten not only their tempers but also their passion as well. Lord almighty, what I wouldn’t give to spend 5 minutes in the library with Dario... that guy has got some serious talent! Dario Columbo will have women dropping their panties left, right, and center ;).
Bound by Danger is the perfect sequel to Bound by Honor. It’s filled with twists and turns, action and drama, passion and laughter, and some crazy shocking surprises! I think Dario and Sara have surpassed John and Elisa as my favorites in this series.
These two are seriously electrifying together. Their enemies to lovers story is full of banter, hot and steamy scenes and danger. I enjoyed seeing these two members of these respective mafia families come into their own. They both are highly underestimated but they grow together as individuals and as a couple. Perfect.
Dario will melt your heart as the lovable playboy who is brought to his knees by Sara who tries to deny her attraction. As stated before, there is danger and suspense but then that’s expected since it’s a mafia romance.

Dario's Story
I loved seeing the change in Dario as he fell for Sara. They were perfect for each other. He was the typical possessive Whole that she needed and she was the sassy Mafia Princess that he needed. Neither took scrap from the other.
This story had some wicked twists and turns, danger for both of them and additions to the whole family.
Kelsey Dawson did an excellent job of keeping you on your toes in this book.

This book was entertaining. I felt like there was more suspense and I enjoyed that a lot. Some twists and turns kept me on my toes and I enjoyed the introduction of a new, unexpected character towards the end.

Bound by Danger is an interconnected standalone, enemies to lovers and book #2 in the Born in Crime series. Although its a standalone, I highly recommend reading book #1 it will enhance your reading experience. I couldn't wait to read Bound by Danger, I was very curious to read Dario and Sara's story. Because, I got a glimpse to their relationship from Bound by Honor. You could say that Dario and Sara can't stand to be in the same room with each other. Dario and Sara are both strong willed characters, hence this caused them to constantly clash, challenging each other. Dario can be seen as a "ladies man". He knows that he can charm and seduce any woman, with his his good looks and personality/behaviour. Well expect for one, Sara. Sara is immune to his charms, oh so she thought. Dario as a capo, and is slowly following in his brother John's footsteps. Sara is a mafia princess and dutiful daughter. She may not like it, but Sara will eventually have do what her family expects from her.

It's definitely a lot more steamer compared to Bound by Honor. I really enjoyed reading Dario and Sara's interactions, I laughed at some of the scenes. They really did got on each others' nerves. But, Sara worries about Dario, an unknown danger is in the horizon that could affect their families. Neither of them were looking for a serious relationship. But the more time they spend together, Dario and Sara begin to question themselves, and they realize that they want so much more. Dario's character really did developed in this book. And I was so happy to read more of John and Elisa! Overall, I like how the storyline picked up, it flowed and I think this is my favorite book so far in this series. After finishing the first book, Bound by Honor, I was really looking forward to this second installment to the Born in Crime trilogy. I knew Dario and Sara would be fun to read about. Dario is a cocky ladies man on the surface, but I knew there was someone with a soft heart underneath it all. Sara is feisty and independent. After having her heart broken and stifled before, she's not looking for love. I wanted to see Sara get it all. Love AND freedom to pursue what interests her. Dario and Sara bring out the best parts of each other.
“I will kill anyone who lays a hand on you. Anyone who tries to take what is yours. And what is mine.”
The tension and banter between the two was on fire. There is so much more to Sara and Dario than I'd initially thought and both characters were enjoyable to read about. They are truly bound by danger. In this book they each are facing shadows meaning to bring them harm. Amidst it all, Sara is no damsel. She and Dario are a well suited mafia couple.
I really liked the appearances of John and Elisa, from book 1, as they live out their happily ever after. I love this blended mafia family! Things spice up at the end of the book and now I am left to wonder where the author will take us next!

You know dangerous situations have a way of revealing what wasn’t notable before. And that is exactly what happens to Sara the night trouble finds Dario. Now feelings start to spin out of control. Can a mob princess tame a playboy?
This book in my opinion was better than the first. I really enjoyed the first book and loved the story, but this book seemed to keep me on the edge of my seat the whole time. It was full of jaw dropping action. I love Dario’s character and his snarky comments.

I am so glad I found books 1 and 2 in this series around the same time because the wait for Dario's story would've killed me! Dario is the younger brother of John from Bound by Honor. Initially, he's made out to be the screw-up of the family, but Bound by Danger proves it's usually a case of "wrong place at the wrong time" when it comes to Dario.

Passionate, dangerous and incredible!!!
If you love nothing more than spending time reading a good book then this one's for you. It is everything you want to see in a mafia romance. But instead of being dark unlikeable characters you get characters that are human and loving. They are more scared of love than they are of danger. So watching their journey into love is very entertaining. It is passionate and romantic and really, really fun. Dario and Sara are great but all of the other characters really add to the book too. Loved them all.

Wonderful characters, awesome book and a wonderful journey. When I heard that this is a mafia romance I wasn’t sure what to expect. Would I be able to get invested in a world that I have never experienced? Would I even like the characters? And I was really pleasantly surprised. The author creates a world that is realistic and allows you to feel part of it. And the characters are incredible and fun to watch. I got really invested in Dario and Sara’s story and their lives. It has enough passion and story to keep anyone that loves the romance genre entertained.

Bound by Danger is the second book in the Born in Crime series by Kelsey Dawson. It’s just as good as the first one.
Dario Colombo is a womanizing playboy, who knows the affect he has on women. Sara Codutti is the sassy mafia princess who will bring this cocky playboy to his knees.
I loved Sara and Dario, they fit together perfectly. Their chemistry was explosive and too hard for either to resists.
This story is full of twists and turns befitting of a great mafia story.

This is a book that any romance readers need to add to their list. It was a great book with an awesome story that keeps you hooked. And even better is that it is part of a series. So you don’t have to say goodbye to these characters just because this book is done. It is a fun read about the mafia, so there are some moments of tension, and a book about love. Watching Sara and Dario fall in love is a wild ride but a really great experience. Great book!

Passionate and sizzling combined with enough danger to keep you hooked and turning the page. It pulls you into a world beyond anything you have experienced and makes you feel right at home. Dario and Sara are incredible characters that get you invested. I found myself holding my breath hoping that they would be okay. The danger feels real and the romance will make you breathless. It is an incredible book with loads of twists and turns and will leave you feeling completely satisfied.

Okay so at first it was super hard for me to get into this one for some reason but it definitely kept getting better for me and I ended up adoring it. Sara and Dario are absolutely amazing together; the tension and all the moments between them, and of course the way she craved him so badly but refused to admit it but when she did, eek so good!

Ya hace un poco más de una semana que termine el libro, así que ya no lo recuerdo del todo bien pero, si puedo decir que me gusto más que el primer libro.
PMA 😬😬 me tarde mil años escribiendo lo poco que recordaba del libro y jodido Goodreads no lo guardo.
Dios no puedo con ese estrés.
Bueno ya medio voy a escribir algunas cosas. Para aclarar leí el libro hace poco más de una semana así que no recuerdo del todo bien las cosas.
Bound by Danger es un libro que me agrado un poco más que su antecesor.
Se logran quitar sub tramas innesarias y eso se agradece mucho ya que no se sienten con relleno.
Lastimosamente la historia principal no me convence del todo. Por una parte me agrado ver lo que sucede pero, lo que no acabo de convencer es los motivos de los “villanos". Me pareció muy sin sentido del todo y sin mucho peso o muy infantil.
A ello sumo que el personaje de Logan no me convence y si no fuera porque ya me comprometí conmigo misma a leer la serie, la verdad que no leería su historia. Logan me pareció muy flojo, muy vacío y quiero decir que su aceptación en la familia no se siente orgánica y solo siento que se le da eso porque se acaba el libro y ya no hay tiempo de hacer nada con él.
Dario y Sara me gustan. Eso sí, Sara es increíblemente insoportable en la primer mitad. Su odio hacia Dario es sin nada de sentido y muy infantil. Me arruinó poco completo la experiencia y casi me hace abandonar el libro.
Sobre ellos dos me habría gustado ver su paso como una pareja que trabaja directamente con la acción que sucede en el submundo ya que ambos son personajes con energía, rebeldes y aquellos que desempeñan un buen papel haciendo el trabajo sucio, acabando problemas o iniciandolos, manejando armas... Simplemente ellos dos como pareja en acción son agradable de leer.
Algo más que no me agrado es que se haga una especie de recapitalización del primer libro, es innecesario ya que no son libros aparte, van juntos y pierde mucho tiempo aclarando cosas que ya se saben.
Me agrado ver esa importancia de una relación con una persona que pertenece a alguna familia criminal. El como eso te hace ser más libre con una pareja y poder confiar mucho más y sentirte bien al no mentir sobre tu vida.
Y por último no me agrada la falta de peso o sentido al tema de la mafia. Por momentos aún se siente que está por simplemente estar y no tiene justificación.
En conclusión es una libro que logra corregir errores con respecto al primer libro pero, aún tiene cosas sin sentido y a mejorar. Aún así es un libro entretenido y disfrutable.

Firstly here is something personal from me: There was only one author whose writing style I always loved. No matter if I've read her book or not, I always know I will love the book. Dario's character made massive progress throughout this story. He learned a lot about himself and realized who he and what he wanted to be. I fell in love with him, he was strong, sweet, and protective.
Sara is a badass, she knows what she wants and isn't afraid to show it.
The physical attraction between Dario and Sara is apparent, and their chemistry is too strong to resist.
I loved how their family underestimates them both, but together, they grow stronger as a couple and individual.
I was so happy we got to see John and Elisa and the progress of their relationship.
Like the first book, this one is easy to read, with some danger, twist and turns, and lots of passion and steam.
I enjoyed reading this book, I was entirely into the story and unable to stop reading.

I really enjoyed this book and getting to know Dario and Sara even better. Getting to see where the main characters from the previous book ended up was another added bonus. I loved Sara; she is a great character that doesn’t stand back for anyone. She might be a mafia princess, but she is no damsel in distress. She gives Dario a run for his money and it leads to loads of sizzling moments between these two. I will be counting down the days to the release of the third book in the series.
I really enjoyed this book and getting to know Dario and Sara even better. Getting to see where the main characters from the previous book ended up was another added bonus.
