Honestly I really do not like Dakota as a character. Throughout each and every book there’s no character development. In the beginning of this Trilogy she was pushing against the thought of being with her mate and in order to get her way she ran away. Nothing has changed in the third installment she feels scared and once again she runs away. I’m rating this for stars because I like getting to know the side characters better. Honestly I feel like they were more consistent than the main characters. Not that I have anything against Asher. I really don’t like the way that the series ended but I’m glad that Gunner has a potential make.

So now the winey good for nothing MC is pregnant. Just great. She still wants everything her way. She goes "behind enemy lines" because she had another tantrum. Go figure. She is immature and risks her safety and the safety of her unborn child all because she's selfish. Throw in a bunch of typos and the fact that lance dies and reverts back to human "because that is what happens" but Gunner's mom dies and stays a wolf and has her head mounted...the inconsistencies are just as annoying as Dakota.
DNF.. honestly the shifting viewpoint is usually something I love but this time the placement of the shifts made no sense. The reader missed out on so much and OMG WHYYYY can Dakota and Asher not just be doing ok??? I’m not understanding why the whole series has to be them CONSTANTLY not trusting each other over the same things.
This book was a giant contradiction to itself. The book didn't have anything from the end of book 2. Suddenly 2 other people are having chapters. Things they said in 1 book are completely different now. The mfc is still a horrible person. Mmc is not an alpha. Could have finished series after book 2 didn't need book 3.
There were so many intense moments I couldn’t stop reading, I had to know what happened next. And their fathers, WOW what pieces of work, I’m surprised you let them live honestly. But great conclusion to a very bumpy start. ❤️
That's part of what made it so good though. The characters are great. The plot was interesting. The whole story was vivid and intense. I look forward to reading more stories by Kiera Legend.
