Noah Waddell is a tough cop who spends his off-time playing hockey with first responders on the Portland Panthers. He’s in the small town of Elm Creek for a week of tournament games and he needs his sleep, so he's booked into a local hotel. Unfortunately, due to some back luck at the hotel, he and a woman he's never met both get booked into the last room.
Emma Sanderson is not thrilled to be back in Elm Creek with her extended family, all of whom are obsessed with marrying her off. If fending off their attempts at matchmaking and having to wear the ugliest orange bridesmaid gown ever isn’t enough, now she’s sharing a hotel room with a hockey-playing detective. He might be rude, but he's hotter than sin, and there's a steamy attraction that's as inconvenient as it is potent.

Badges on Ice Series Book Four
Noah Waddell, a Portland law enforcement officer, plays hockey with the Portland Panthers. They head off to Elm Creek, Idaho, for a week of playing the other teams. Noah and a couple of other buddies on the team are the only single guys. And they enjoy their singleness. When an issue at the hotel has Noah moved into a new room…with all the chaos, he ends up with a roommate. A beautiful woman who’d rather not have a roommate.
Emma Sanders is at yet another wedding for her family. They do weddings big, like a week-long big. And, her cousin is younger than her, so this wedding has her mother working overtime to set her up. Sadly, everyone is behind her mother and thinks that her third cousin would be perfect for her. She disagrees.
Emma is a friend of Callie from Crushing It. Noah plays against Jake, Nate, and Ryan in hockey. An excellent finish to this series.

Couldn't put this one down and stayed up waaaay too late to to get to Noah and Emma's HEA. A fun, fast read that I recommend for lovers of hockey romance ... any kind of romance!
