Until All The Gods Return

Rate this book
The ancient gods are coming back, but they’re interested in only one thing: power.

Marshal, struggling against his royal destiny, ventures into the Starlit Realm to rescue a friend from enslavement. But his new power may still not be enough to defy that of a god.

Surrounded by enemies, Seri hopes to bring one to her side. But a visit to her home exposes a devastating truth about herself and her heritage.

Through it all, an invincible army marches toward the final portal between the worlds. If Marshal and Seri can’t seal the portal in time, nothing can stop the gods from sweeping across all the lands.

Antises trembles...

And the Heart of Fire series races ever closer to its conclusion!

Tim Frankovich has been exploring fantastic worlds since third grade, when he cut up a grocery sack and drew a Godzilla-meets-superheroes story. Since then, he's gotten a little bit better at the writing part (not so much with the drawing).

His goal as a writer is to transport readers to another world, make them care deeply about characters in dire situations, and guide them deeper into life itself.

At the moment, he is probably suitably conscious somewhere in Texas with his beloved wife, awesome kids, and a fool of a pup named Pippin.

This is an epic series with a fantastic plot and character development. I was not able to put it down literally. The land of Antises is being destroyed, without the power of a King and disunity. Marshall, the reluctant King, matures into his own in this book. His ability to have compassion and mercy even to his enemies despite everything that he has been through is what I like so much about him, yet he has so much strength. The characterisation of the side characters was also well done. The concepts of power and lust for power are delved into in these characters. The only character that I really trust in this is Marshall, mainly because he does not want his power and he sees it as a means to help the land. This is just an amazing series that I highly recommend. 5/5 stars

I have been so enthralled by this series. It is so difficult to find a truly unique storyline in the fantasy era – but Tim Franovich has clearly done that. The storyline continues to develop reaching a crescendo – but we are left waiting. Moving at a blistering pace, Frrankovich takes you on a wild ride through without a single dull moment. Infused with non-stop action, intelligent dialogue, the narrative blows past in a whirlwind of acutely planned chaos that keeps you hooked from start to finish. I highly recommend this series, you won’t be disappointed! I gave this honest, voluntary review after being given a free copy of the book.

Intense, but wonderful.
Each of these books builds on the relationships between the characters and the conflict both external (world falling apart and god-like creatures invading) and internal (who are we and are we good enough to deal with this?)
In this race against time and circumstances, the portals must be closed to keep those who call themselves gods, evil and selfish beings, out. Each step closer to accomplishing this costs something of one or more of the characters.
At the end, my predominate questions are: who is Seri really and does it matter? and, why is the former assassin essential to the saving of all?

This book is epic the author has gone to so much trouble to make things so good with lots of detail so you can picture what is happening clearly.
The characters almost jump out of the book to meet you.
A must read.

The best writing in the series so far. The author manages multiple storylines and character motivations extremely well while maintaining excellent pacing of the storyline. A unique world is further developed and a twisty plot ensures you will want to read the next book as well.

Fantastic read

Very refreshing read, its so difficult to have a unique plot in fantasy fiction genre nowadays…most of the series i read have overlapping plot with some or the other series…love the way the story has been weaved

Every book in this series has gotten better and better. It’s not just more exciting, it’s better written and the characters are more interesting.

I wish there was a way I could give this book a higher rating, it deserves at least a 10! What an intricate, interesting, complex plot! As the characters develop throughout the novel, they become more and more endearing, at least the ones portrayed as heroes and purporters of good. So many twists and turns, yet totally convincing to the storyline. An elaborate, rich tale, with the most amazing fight scenes I've read in a long time! I'm not really into fight scenes per say, but they are an integral part of any epic fantasy. What makes these fight scenes different, is that they are so credible! One can almost sense one is there, feeling the intensity of the fight and the emotions and one can't help but cheer when it goes well or despair when it gets hairy for the "good guys". The character building is equally to none, as is the world, or worlds described. The magic is taken to a new level altogether. Having, for the most part, defeated or delayed the old gods from conquering and taking over,  our heroes are faced with many conflicting challenges. It's great fun reading how Marshall, Seri, Dravid, Victor and company face and sort these out. As much as Marshall is an integral part of the story, and a character one can't help loving, there are so many characters that make this truly wonderful, magical and memorable to read. The series just gets better and better with each book!
