The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with!

By the time you’ve figured out who is who and how deep hate can run, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter!

(Believe me when I say you won’t put it down until the last page is read…you will find yourself getting upset cause someone called, texted or bothered you while reading this one, you will find yourself up at ungodly hours just to finish it knowing you have to be at work early (like 3am early) the very next day) YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!
Leonardo is the sexy as all get out Don, he has trained his entire life for this role, strong, confident, powerful, intelligent, dangerous and oh so deliciously dark and he has chosen Alessia who is sweet, kind to most and unsure of who she really is although, their paths are intertwined to each other will the secrets they find our tear them apart, are they strong enough to fight their way through it all, is there happiness for the alpha Don and the queen that brings him to his knees?

Leonardo and Alessia hung out together as kids as Leonardo were friends with Alessia’s brother. Soon they were sneaking around and making out whenever they had the chance. Leonardo will become Don; will he have the woman he wants at his side and will she want to be there with him? Fast-paced Mafia read with loads of drama, suspense and steam. Looking forward to more in the series. I liked it.

Great start to the Caruso Crime Cartel....this is going to get interesting and smexy!!!
Broken Crown is the first book in the Caruso Crime Cartel series and it starts this series off full throttle and grabbed my attention from the first page till the last. This is a continuing series about Leonardo Caruso and Alessia Mariani. Leonardo's Grandpa Carmine is the Don of the Caruso crime cartel and Alessia's father and brother, Tony and Matteo, are part of the family also. As Leonardo and Teo are best friends and the family's are close Sia grew up ins the Caruso family home with Grandpa Carmine and other family being just like her family. Leonardo is twenty-four years old and since he was young he was groomed by his Grandpa to take over the family when he passed, even though Leonardo's father also works in the family.
The book starts in the summer after Sia graduated high school and she is deciding if she is going to go to college or not. During that summer she and Leonardo have been secretly finding stolen moments to make out and do other things. Sia has always had a crush on the older, handsome and very sexy Leonardo so this has made her young heart pound faster and start to fall in love. But when Sia's father disappears things start to change and Leonardo pushes her away, much to her dismay and heartbreak. The book then shifts to four months later and Grandpa Carmine has died from a heart attack. Leonardo has become the new Don of the family and Sia is off at college. But Leonardo calls her to come home for the funeral and he also plans to claim what is his as no one is standing in his way. But first he must prove himself and "make his bones" to get the respect of the other men in the family, some of who are looking to challenge him. But he was taught the lessons well by his Grandpa, even if he enacts them his own way, earning the respect and loyalty of those that he wants. But as Sia is home he also claims her....but when she finds out some incriminating information while looking for a paper in Leonardo's desk she is not sure what to do or how she feels.
This story does end with a continuation in the story that I am looking forward to reading. Autumn Reign has given us two main characters that you can tell are going to go toe to toe with more than a few back and forth between them. The world of the Caruso crime cartel, Caruso family and Mariani family are all nicely described with several various characters also introduced. I enjoyed this first book a lot and am looking forward to the next, Twisted Crown, to see exactly what Leonardo and Sia do next, along with everyone else.

This was a wonderful read, great start to this Mafia Crime story
I do not want to give away too much about this story as the characters and the storyline are so well written that I simply want you to enjoy the book as much as myself.
Leonardo has always been destined to rule his mafia house and he is a competent and cruel man that stands no nonsense or treachery and knows that a mistake or a traitor in the midst can cause lost lives and this is something he will not stand for.
As the Don the responsibilities on his shoulders is insurmountable and he has to trust those below him to a certain extent but he never switches off and is always careful of those he has around him.
She has come into his life and he knows that his feelings for her are fierce and she easily raises his blood however it soon becomes apparent that there is more to her than he originally believed. She has questions about the death of her father years before and she wants to confirm if he had anything to do with his demise.
Leonardo does not like secrets and hidden agendas and is not happy that she has been investigating his past.
He has to decide what he is going to do about her actions, he must retain his face before his men and the other Mafia families.
No one messes with him and gets away with it!!

Arc for honest review. Broken crown is the first book by the very talented Autumn Reign . It is a Dark Mafia romance ( and part of the (Caruso Crime Cartel series . Wow what a attention grabber , this book starts out full throttle and had me devoured every minute from the very first page . This is going to be a continuing series about Leonardo Caruso and Alesia Mariam .Leonardo and Alesia have known each other since they were kids . Alessia was first introduced to Leo as her brothers formed but very quickly those innocent feeling and friendship turned into so much more.their relationship was kept as a secret so that meant there was a lot of sneaking round to be with one another. Leo Will me Don , what does the future hold for them ?will Alesia be at his side ? I absolutely loved every minute of this amazing book, there is so many secrete , surprises, suspense , steam . Be prepared to be on the edge of your seat the whole time . I can’t wait for the next book

This book brings us Leonardo Caruso and Alessia Mariani, (Sia). Leonardo's granddad Carmine is the Don of the family, and Alessia's father and brother are also part of the cartel. However, after Carmine dies, Leonardo becomes the new "don". He is young, so he must prove himself to the others, some of which want to take his place as the don. Sia is away at college when Carmine dies, and Leonardo feels that one way to show everyone else what his powers are, he calls her home and claims her as his. Sia has had a crush on Leonardo for some time, however, after her father dies, she has questions and wants to be sure that he has had nothing to do with it. He is furious that she has been looking into his past. This is a 6 book series and I can't wait for book number 2. I did receive an arc for an honest review.

Fast start to a new 6 book mafia series by Autumn Reign. The really good news is Ms. Reign is super fast giving you each book, even eith cliffys ending each book. Sia is the only girl in a made family and is kept far, far away from that side of the family. She has been in love with her brother’s best friend and a family friend, Leonardo for years, but when she says she loves him, he sends her away. But, when his grandfather dies and Leonardo becomes the dom, he wants her back, in his bed, with a ring on her finger. I am looking forward to finding out more about these two characters, what really makes them tick, and ow they really comes together. Really fast, but we’ll see more, I hope

Because of the passing of Grandpa Carmine, Leonardo will take over as the Don of the Caruso Cartel. He needs to show his strength to met out punishment to a man who has betrayed the cartel. Leonardo must walk a fine line because this man, Tony Mariani, is the father of his best friend, Matteo, and Alessia, the woman he loves. This was a short and fast read that had all of the elements of crime, passion, and hot scenes. And I am sure will continue to do so as each of the books in the series are written. This is book #1 of the "Caruso Crime Cartel" series. Enjoy!

Not for me.
I don’t know where to start. I love mafia romance, it’s my jam. I love it when it’s dark. This book completely missed the mark for me. I felt like I was reading a middle schooler’s diary most of the time. It’s only a 43 page novella, and I DNF’d it at 53%. I just couldn’t take the childish back and forth anymore. This book reminded me of a bunch of 9 year olds who got together on the playground and decided to play mafia. Not for me.

Wow, what an awesome start to the Caruso Crime Cartel series. This first book is short but packed with drama, suspense, and romance. This is Leonardo and Alessia’s second chance romance. It’s emotional and steamy. I was drawn in from the 1st page. This is going to be a series worth reading. I received a complimentary copy of this book from BookSprout and this is my honest review

There's not enough in this book to review. The relationship happen too fast. Her age by the end of this book has me to believe she's 16 or 17 and him being 24 that doesn't appeal to me, regardless some nationality like Italians who believe in the old ways doesn't make it ok in the 21sr century.

This was not it. Everything was rushed. The sudden love, the time jump. She told him she loved him, then he made her leave and they didn't speak for FOUR MONTHS. then when he sees her next, he says he loves her and is going to MARRY HER and she is totally fine with it, not even a little freaked out. Yeah okay.
