I killed my Alpha.

My name is Jaz Monroe.
I grew up in the Raider Pack when I was found alone as a baby. I loved my pack and I wanted to be something special for the people who accepted me in. So, I grew into one of the Alpha’s strongest warriors, top female beta, and hoped to become commander on Choosing Night.
Then Dark Bloods, an evil pack of creatures, began to lurk in our woods, hunting and killing our werewolves without mercy. I knew then that the Ancients brought me here, to this specific pack, for a reason.
To top it off, Alpha Cree began to change for the worst, ruling us all with an iron fist and making us fight each other in the vicious fighting pits. It was then I knew he had been possessed by the wickedness of the Dark Bloods.
So, when Choosing Night finally arrived and I was chosen to be the broodmare to my evil Alpha...Yeah, I wasn’t having that. He was no longer the man I knew.
Using my ability to disobey an Alpha’s command—I’m the only one who has that gift—I stabbed him and made my escape.
But running like a coward was not what I was doing. I had a pack to save, and to do that, I needed to find the legendary True Alphas.
But as the Ancients would have it, my world and all I thought I knew, would be changed into a truth I fear I’m not strong enough to face.

Raiding Road is book 1 in a new series and is releasing July 9.
I was blessed with an early copy and I devoured this baby quick smart.
Here we are introduced to Jaz Monroe and Roman Cut and boy do sparks fly...or claws, whatever.
Jaz is on the run, fleeing from her previous pack and family, to look for the help they need and crosses paths with Roman and his brothers in the process. The connection between these two is felt through the pages straight away and so the games begin.
I said it after reading Blood Crow and I'll say it again, the pnr trope is where it's at for Miss Domino, she should just set up camp here. The writing is vivid and descriptive, the storyline flourishes and the characters are kick ass.
Raiding Road has the banter, the steam, the fight scenes and the pnr elements to keep you immersed in this story until you're finished.
Bring on book 2 because I'm ready now.

OK! So here it goes.

I first want start off by saying I am not a paranormal romance fan. I have tried to get into them. Giving many of my favorite authors, who have come out with a paranormal series, a chance to change my mind. Let’s just say we are back at square one. So I went into this trying to erase all my previous thoughts on paranormal. Not only did I want to give it a great review because the author is a bad ass and I love her to death but also I wanted to go in with an open mind. I thought maybe I’ll try to forget that it’s paranormal. That was very very hard to do haha. Then I thought just focus on the main story line. Domino knows how to make a killer story line. So that’s what I did and here are my thoughts.
Jaz is a woman on a mission. She has done unthinkable things but for good reason. Now she is on the run trying to find the ones who will help get her pack back on track.
Roman is the alpha/ president of his pack. Only weird thing about that is so are his 2 best friends. Another odd thing. His pack/ club is fucking HUGE!!! When he runs into Jaz at a mechanic shop he knows something is different with her. That’s not the only thing that draws him to her. She also slashed his FUCKING TIRES!! Now she must pay. You can’t disrespect an alpha and club president and get away with it. However, he gets a lot more then just payback when Jaz steps foot in his club. Let’s just say this girl comes with a lot more baggage then even she thought.
Now what do I say about my thoughts. Did it change my mind on paranormal? Not really. I truly just think it’s not my genre. If it wasn’t paranormal maybe I’d be singing a different tune. The storyline is good. So good to the point I will be reading the second book because I need to know what happens. The stuff that caught my attention was the sex, hot alpha males, and dirty dirty thoughts being tossed left and right 😏. So there is always that and a lot of it haha. Just because it wasn’t my cup of tea doesn’t mean it won’t quench your thirst though. I hate to do reviews and give my thoughts on books that I’m not 100% crazy for because I don’t want people to think I’m putting it down. I’m really not. I respect the hell out of the work and author. Honestly when I’m buying a book I don’t even look at reviews. At the end of the day reviews are just opinion and everybody’s is different. However I did say I’d be honest. What I will say . This author is fantastic. Her stories are captivating. We already know my obsession with her mafia series. If you haven’t read Domino‘s work you are missing out. You just got to find your flavor.

Raiding Road was 🥵
V. Domino has a way with words that is pure storytelling (& I know what you're thinking, "It's a book...obviously", but it's SO much more than that). You genuinely feel as though you're walking through the pages right alongside the characters. When they're afraid, you get tingles. When they're happy, you find yourself smiling. When they're...well, you know 😏, you're right there with them. It's artistry at its finest.
Jaz and Roman are 2 sides of the same coin. They're vivacious and stubborn--hard-headed and alpha through and through. There's so much chemistry between them that it practically melts off the pages. There is SO much push and pull between them that you knew when it was "go time", sparks were going to be absolutely FLYING.
My favorite part was the intricate and well-thought-out weaving of the Crow Sisters into this world. It was so seamless and made it feel like a coming home party with old friends. I'm so excited to see how they continue to mesh down the rest of both series.
I finished this story in a day. It's a quick read that leaves you reeling and I cannot wait to see how it continues to unfold. (Also, Knix is mine, bye.)

the one thing i love most about v’s writing is her female heroines. such BDE, snark, and humor. i love it.

Author V. Domino is killing it this time around. First with the Blood crows and now the True Alphas I can’t even begin to tell you how much I loved this book .. she takes us right into the fight and it’s a battle all the way through .. there are some intense scenes as well as plenty of sexy times to be had.. and I mean let’s be honest here there is some serious heat.. I was amused at the constant banter between Roman and Jaz .. they give as good as they get and I love that she’s an equal to him.
With everything going on, I was pleasantly surprised to see a cameo of Ronny and her sister / mates .. i can’t wait for book two of their book .. I also want more of the Cutthroat MC ASAP..
The side characters are super cool also, I know at least two siblings that definitely have a story to tell.. I can’t wait to hear more from them because they are that intriguing.
This book is well written and it flows so well I didn’t even realize I was at 80 percent and was really sad about that but I know that whatever this author writes I will read and I can’t wait to experience more of this world..

This was my first book by V. Domino and I have been seriously missing out because Raiding Road was so good. It grabbed my attention straight away and I read it in one sitting.
Here our main characters are Jaz and Roman. Jaz is on the run after attacking her alpha and she is looking for the legendary true alphas in hope they will help her save her pack from the dark bloods. Soon after escaping, she runs into Roman and his brothers and let's just say this girl does know how to fight and defend herself lol. Even though sparks fly, she doesn't let it get in her way. She is not easily dominated and her trust definitely doesn't come easy.
Jaz was so freaking amazing and badass. She was confident in herself, her abilities and sexuality. She was strong and fought for the upper hand when it came to their relationship and I'm seriously obsessed with her. Roman was great too, he was such an amazing alpha. He was powerful but fair, he really cared for his people and I loved that. Their chemistry was insane, the steam was definitely there and so was the banter which is one of my favorite things to read in books.
Raiding Road was a fast-paced, action packed book with so many amazing characters. Here we have MC, werewolves, fighting, blood, sex, fated-mates, alpha men, badass women, villains and some twist and turns that leave you on the edge of your seat wanting to know what will happen next. I for one already can't wait to have the second book in my hands!

Raiding Road was absolutely sensational. Being the author's first reading and many that will come for sure.
V.Domino knew right away how to develop his characters on each journey, making this story much more than we imagined, feeling each emotion run through each chapter...
Jaz Monroe is a strong girl determined a true Alpha, stubborn and sarcastic more that makes you admire in your journey to save your pack, in search of answers she does not measure effort not only attack those who do bad but also defend those who love him.
Roman Cutt is a big, sexy and scary man, Alpha apart from his other brothers they are known as legendary true Alphas, who seek to help their family.
But when their worlds intersect we realize that both are on the same side of the coin, stubborn, hot and dominating completely. There's so much chemistry between them that it melts the pages. A true Yin Yang that burns through.
A mixture of mystery, secrets, sorcery falls on cutthroat, causing some secrets to be revealed causing a war that is far from over, an upheaval of everything they believed in this couple and their brothers to unite to fight for their people and family.
Raiding Road has all the paranormal elements to keep us immersed in this journey that is far from over...I can't wait for the next book.

From the first chapter I was sucked in feeling as clueless as the characters learning about their history and the prophecy laid out in front of them , while having danger coming for them out of every corner . I'm somewhat hungover because the story line is that dang good and it ends on somewhat of a cliff hanger ... I'm excited to see what the next book holds. This is easily a 5 star read ! Raiding Road is everything you could ever ask for in a paranormal romance. It was suspenseful, romantic and damn sexy.
in this book you meet Jaz Monroe and Roman Cut and wooooooh boy do they have a fiery connection.
V. Domino KILLS IT with paranormal romance. She blew my mind with Blood Crow and Raiding Road only amplified my awe of her creativity and writing.
So damn brilliant.
I don’t want to give too much away because I honestly believe everyone should experience this book for themselves. PLUS we get a very special cameo from some amazing characters.
This book is so well written. V. Domino has a fantastic ability to draw you into a story and make it seem like you’re there.
I cant wait for book two and to experience more of this world she’s created.

I don’t want to give too much away because I honestly believe everyone should experience this book for themselves. PLUS we get a very special cameo from some amazing characters.
This book is so well written. V. Domino has a fantastic ability to draw you into a story and make it seem like you’re there.
I cant wait for book two and to experience more of this world she’s created.

First the twins are freaking great I love them so much!
Jaz and Roam’s chemistry is a freaking time bomb waiting to explode and when it finally did it was everything I wanted. They are fire!! Both of these Alpha unwilling to relinquish any kind of power to one another makes everything between then 10 times hotter! I loved all of the characters we were introduced to except for two and you will understand once you get to reading LOL.. Once I started reading there was no way I was putting this baby down. I definitely need more. I am really looking forward to getting everyone’s story and diving deeper into what is going on because I still have tons of questions I need answered!!! Highly recommend.

Okay let's talk about the chemistry between these two badass alpha's Roam and Jaz. I could feel the BDE radiating off of both of them through the pages and honestly I never wanted it to stop. I couldn't put this story down and the mentions of the Blood Crows just really sealed the deal for me.
I have more questions than answers, I am looking forward to see how this series progresses and where the author takes us.

Love love love this book
First, the bada$$ Jaz can hold her own in a fight, argument and strategy. She is amazing and a great counter to Roman. He is a big alpha and love his back story.
This book hits all the epic boxes. Thrilling, great prose, humor, steamy and gory battles.

Wow. I’ve had this in my TBR for such a long time and I finally gave it a go.
I’m so glad I did. This book was everything, it had me hooked from the very beginning and I didn’t stop until it was over.

Wow, this book is so freaking good! I had so many emotions reading it! Stay up all night reading it. I just couldn't put it down!
I have been reading so many books here lately with pushover female leads, but let me tell you Jaz is not one of them. She is so fierce and such a bada**! I want to be like her when I grow up lol! She also made me laugh so many times. Y'all are going to love Jaz so much!
Now Roman my God this guy was swoon-worthy!! He is now one of my top favorite book boyfriends! Seriously I love him! I think what I found so hot was how possessive he was over Jaz, and the chemistry between them was off the charts!
I don't want to go into too many details about this book I won't spoil it for anyone. But if you love motorcycle gangs and paranormal romance you are going to love this one! I can't wait for everyone to meet the Cutthroat MC! This book is in my top 2021 reads. It's 10 stars for me!

Raiding Road by V.Domino is a supernatural dark MC; I love every second of this book. The smut is 🔥the secret, and the emotional roller coaster in this book is everything. I need the second book now. I highly recommend it.

Hi Friends! Let me tell you about this book I just read. This story introduces 𝕵ᴀᴢ 𝕸ᴏɴʀᴏᴇ, werewolf pack MC member who kills her Alpha. 𝕵ᴀᴢ immediately flees her pack, going on the run in search of the True Alpha pack. For answers and protection from the horrors she has endured within her pack. What follows is a ridiculous ride full of werewolves, witches, blood crows and fairies... Oh My!

If you have read Domino before, you know this girl can write, with her talents lying in Mafia Romance and now Paranormal Romance. To be completely honest, cannot tell you which I love more. I do however have a weakness for PNR and with characters like these! I have been swayed, slayed and seduced by all things paranormal.

𝕵ᴀᴢ 𝕸ᴏɴʀᴏᴇ is a sassy badass who is not afraid to throw down for those she’s protective of. Her heart is pure and her loyalty is strong, making her someone I would definitely want in my corner.

𝕽ᴏᴍᴀɴ 𝕮ᴜᴛ- This Alpha bad boy is not for fake, he’s the real deal with the bloodline to prove it. He is genuine and fiercely protective, proving that he has more than earned that President patch.

Without giving too much away, I was whooping at the Crow Sisters and the Bloodhounds mini crossover! If you have not yet read Blood Crow I would highly recommend reading that before Raiding Road for the ultimate experience. I am so obsessed with this world, the storyline, the characters and the atmosphere that Domino has created. I never want it to end.
