The situation was supposed to be simple. I needed a place to stay. He needed someone to handle his horse…uh, appendage.
No, literally. Get your mind out of the gutter. Colt Patton’s prize stallion was having some mare problems that only a vet like me could take care of. In exchange, he’s got a room for me in the guest cottage on his ranch. Easy-peasy, right?
Wrong.
Because now I’m roommates with the hottest, snarliest bachelor in town. Who I’ve accidentally seen sans-clothing. Who I now know, definitively, has a lot in common with his stallion. Who comes with a trail of baggage as long as his…property line.
Any girl with an ounce common sense would run for the hills. There’s only one problem: I can’t seem to look, much less run, away from Mr. Snarly-Hot.
When Colt’s psycho cheating ex comes looking to steal his land, and when my dangerous ex comes looking to stir up trouble, we find the perfect solution: pretend to be engaged.
After all, what could possibly go wrong pretending to be in a romantic relationship with an older, damaged, irresistibly gorgeous former Marine with eyes that make me weak and a smile that turns me to mush?
Remember when this was supposed to be simple?
Yeah, me neither anymore.
Safe, absolutely no cheating, no cliffhanger, and a perfect happy ever after.
Cherry Falls is filled with returning characters and iconic destinations that will begin to feel like family. When you leave the city, and drive into Cherry Falls, it’s like you’ve finally come home.
The cherry on top? Each book delivers a swoon-worthy, steamy romance! So welcome to Cherry Falls, we hope you stay awhile!
A reader first and foremost, Jagger Cole cut his romance writing teeth penning various fan-fiction stories years ago. After deciding to hang up his writing boots, Jagger worked in advertising pretending to be Don Draper. It worked enough to convince a woman way out of his league to marry him, though, which is a total win.
Now, Dad to two little princesses and King to a Queen, Jagger is thrilled to be back at the keyboard.
When not writing or reading romance books, he can be found woodworking, enjoying good whiskey, and grilling outside—rain or shine.
What do 2 peoples who got screwed by there exs do? Well for Colt he gets drunk and ends up naked and Tansy she walks in on Naked Colt when she's his new worker who up and left her ex. What a great way to meet the boss ;)
These two start off very tense and alittle snappy at one another from that night but they work it out and now working together with some serious sexual tension. But they do have their work cut out for them when both exs come into the picture trying to ruin their lives.. Whats another better way to stick it to exs tell them your getting married lol

"420 Bride Street" is the story of Tansy and Colt.
Sooo..
Hero and heroine are both recovering from shitty exes. Circumstances bring them together. After loads of drama and almost sexual encounters, they have an actual love, fall in love and have an underwhelming HEA. It was not my cup of tea! Sorry!
This is the first I have ever heard of the Cherry Falls Romance world. But I gotta tell you, I adored Cole’s addition to the series, so now I am intrigued with all the others. I need more of this town in my life.
Bless Tansy’s heart (and libido) for how she first meets Colt...all of him. Just there in her new cottage. Hungover. And just plain hung. But after a successful second introduction, they decide to give this new employment another go. From there on out, their chemistry is fire and instantaneous. They can’t get enough of each other no matter how they try to fight it at first.
Completely magnetic in every way, 420 BRIDE STREET, came barreling at me in only a way that Cole can do. It got me good from start to finish as I inhaled every ounce it. 5 Stars!
Jagger Cole did it again. Comes to the small town many authors have visited and knocks it out of the park! Or maybe, I should say out of Colt Patton's horse pasture! When an employee finds him a newly graduated vet to treat his dysfunctional stallion and stay in the cottage 50 feet out his back door, Colt experiences fireworks. This chemist, ex-Marine, has had no interest in women for more than five years, since his messy divorce. But when Tansy waltzes into his guest cottage catching him indelicato, the two find themselves on a fast train to a fake engagement to avoid losing his farm to his ex-wife. Great plot, surprising action, and humorous dialog make this a really fast and enjoyable read.
It started with "my stallion can't get it up" This is a GREAT story. Two really nice people who are cheated on and abused by their exes meet and find attraction. Colt owns a peaceful horse ranch and is in need of a veterinarian to help his "erectile dysfunctioning" stallion. Tansy is a brand new veterinarian who needs temp work before her new job opens. Funny, she's specializes as a small animal vet, knows little about, and is fearful of horses... but... she is broke so here she is to help Colt. They have an instant attraction that develops into friendship and then to true love. This is a quick read, is filled with hysterical banter and some evil villains who get what they deserve. This is a GREAT start for a new series. I read free in exchange for my honest review. Linda
Colts prize stallion is having some problem in the baby making department. He has called upon a vet to help and the local vet has a new one coming on board in a month but Colt needs somebody before then. Tansy has a friend Cassidy who arranges Tansy to go to Colts ranch and work with him and the stallion until the vet in town is ready for her. The one thing Tansy forgot to mention is that she is afraid of horses. The chemistry these two have is out of bounds. Both of them deny what they have but it is obvious to everyone else around them. The antics between the two of them is funny. This author never seems to amaze me with his stories.
I received a free copy of this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Colt and Tansy do not get off on the right foot and it's hilarious. These two buttheads, but they need one another. Tansy is starting over and is about to start her dream job, but first, she's going to help a local rancher figure out why his heard isn't functioning correctly. They both get what they bargained for and well you will have to read to find out. Colt has a crazy ex that man I wanted to slap, but Tansy steps in and tries to help. This book is funny, loving, and will make you melt.
Jagger Cole knows how to write a good instalove read that has you fanning yourself while reading..... I enjoyed ‘420 Bride Street’ and both Cole & Tansy’s characters.
Two people who have been hurt by significant others, to varying degrees, in the past, it was understandable that there would be a wariness between them, but when the attraction bloomed, all bets were off and this pair were good together. What started out as a cover turned into something more than either expected.
I was delighted to see that Jagger Cole had a story in the Cherry Falls universe - since I am familiar with his work and like what I've read, I was interested in what he'd bring. We've met our hero briefly a couple books ago and our heroine is the new vet who will be working on a horse farm with our hero... and is afraid of horses. We've got a couple of insane exes, a fake engagement-to-actual-love, and some corporate intrigue for a fun time. There's a lot going on in the story, yet the story doesn't feel like it - I'm definitely interested in how these two will fit into the Cherry Falls universe and when we might see them next (and when will Cassidy - the friend of the heroines of this book and the book we met our hero in - get her story?).
The perfect read if you're feeling hungry for romance hot enough to melt steel! Sweet, not too heavy, but with plenty of that naughty steam, this story gives you the perfect escape from reality.
Tansy McIntyre stumbles on her new boss, with him buck naked. Talk about first impressions - he surely has a lot of...impressive qualities! Sparks fly, but threats lurk in the horizon. What happens when she finds out what is going on?
A book that’s sweet, steamy and funny? Sign me up. The dialogue in this book is hilarious. Tansy is written with a sassy and snarky sense of humor and Colt is just delicious, right down to the almost-famous body part in his pants. From an extremely awkward meet-cute to the spur of the moment fake engagement to help a guy out, to saying “the hell with it, I’m marrying this girl,” this was a very entertaining read.
This was a great fun read. This is an insta love story. Colt and Tansy meet in an "awkward" moment. I would be thrilled to meet that way, lol. Tansy left her city due to a bad relationship and Colt agreed to help Tansy through a friend of hers. Colt also had a very bad relationship and the two of them are just trying to cope and move past it. They have chemistry that they're both fighting. This is a fairly quick read and I enjoyed it.
I, absolutely, love Colt and Tansy together. They are so cute. Their chemistry is scorching hot and I love their humor. This book has a very entertaining storyline. Some drama with the exes, and a very satisfying hea. Another awesome offering by Mr Cole. This honest review is based on a complimentary copy from the author
If you are looking for a quick, funny and steamy read, 420 Bride Street is the book for you! It’s short, sweet, packed with humor, drama, steam, nasty exes and a fake engagement. The chemistry between Colt and Tansy is on fire. I loved it!!
I received a free e-book copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
A fake fiance with the right amount of steamy and fake. This had all the characters, Satan, Colt, Tansy, a huge horse and a cute dog. I mean serious?!? Could it get any better? Yes! It does. I don't know why sex scenes are always better on a ranch. I won't even get into the meet cute. Phenomenal!
Another wonderful edition to the fabulous town of Cherry Falls. Colt is an immediate favorite of mine and his entrance will leave us wanting more stories, Tamsey is his perfect counterpart and their love story is absolutely perfect.
Tansy and Colt were so good together!!! They kind of got off to a rocky start, but we're definitely what the other needed. Love Jagger Cole stories. His Alphas are amazing. This had a great HEA😍
This was the first book I've read by this author, and it won't be my last! If you are looking for a quick, funny and steamy read, with demanding exes and a fake engagement, this book is for you. The chemistry between Colt and Tansy is on fire.
Colt and Tansy are full of flirty over the top fun. Sarcasm seems to reign when they talk and when she steps up to help him she knows what started as fake was always real.
Great read. Wonderful characters and good storyline and lots of steam. My first book by Jagger and I will be looking for more. ❤️❤️ And if you sign up for his newsletter, you get a bonus scene. What a hot little extra!! 🧡🔥💛
The editing was a bit of a distracting mess. The story itself wavered between compelling scenes and comic, non-sequiturs. The antagonists were caricatures, for example.
Would have rated higher but use of wrong words throughout was trying. Not to mention how many times Harley the dog was called Harvey, I'd be out cold from alcohol poisoning if I took a shot every time it happened.
Ok so this was my first book by JC.. and I’m seriously hooked. Loved these characters and Satan, I mean angst. The bonus story was super hot and amazing. A must read
420 Bride Street is a short and sweet small town romance with humor, drama, steam, nasty exes and a fake engagement. Grab a glass of wine, kick back, and prepare to be entertained!
There are not just sparks when Tansy and Colt meet but bolts of lightning. These two will.light up your kindle with their heat and humor. I loved this book.
A short, lighthearted read. Insta love. Older man and younger woman. The storyline was interesting and entertaining, and the characters were very likable. Overall a enjoyable read.
