This is a must read trilogy
I loved this trilogy and read it in 2 days. I couldn't put it down. I loved it so much that I had to buy it, so I could have it in my library forever.

Lived this book series for three days!!!
I loved, loved these books. I've been a bookworm for 30 years an I've never wanted more to be living with these people, in this book! It started a little slow, but all the sudden it took off and here I am, wishing it to start all over again. Totally a book to be read again and again, Thank You Ms McCormack for a wonderful adventure!

Sad When it Ended!
I loved this trilogy so much I wanted it to keep going when it ended! There is an intimate scene, I believe in book 2, so heads up about that. The story, characters, setting (did you love Aladdin as a kid??), all amazing. There were 1 or 2 plot points that had me wondering for a while, but the author eventually circled back and cleared everything up. It is one continuous story so i recommend buying the trilogy. Thanks to BookBub for bringing it to my attention during a sale! I usually don't love vampires, but I like how the author portrayed their nature in this story. And can we just all have an Alyssa in our lives?! Or BE an Alyssa?! :)

I was given the When Darkness Falls trilogy as a gift. I was only expecting the first book, The Palace, but received the entire trilogy. I really loved this trilogy and I would have immediately purchased the second and third books. So thank you! If you want resolution to the story you do need to read the entire trilogy but I can't believe that would be a problem as it was so good. The world building was wonderfully crafted and the reader can believe she has been transported to Al Khair. I definitely recommend When Darkness Falls to all who enjoy a fun colorful story with great characters and a heartwarming conclusion.

Allie has a way of breathing life into her stories. Details and language draw you into the places in a way you feel you are part of the story. The world she has created in "When Darkness Falls" is a fantastical-enhanced Middle Eastern folktale world with beautifully rich characters and wonderful settings. I love this story so much. Her balancing of innocence with revelation and the pace she builds conflict gives the characters strength for their own story. She lifts a veil as the story progresses like a magician.

Fantasy that makes you wish real life could be like this
I have read this trilogy and all of the Wishes and Dreams series and both myself and husband thoroughly enjoyed all of them! They are books you love to read but while you want to know how they end you are sorry to reach the end! I have referred this series to others already, and encourage anyone with an open mind for fantasy to read them! Thank you Allie!

This trilogy of humans and vampires ruled by Lord Damien and how Alyssa overcomes his powerful spell and how she helps her people to overthrow Lord Damien. I really enjoyed reading this fantasy trilogy with an amazing cast of characters and their adventures in the city of Al Khair.

I had the privilege of beta reading this book and to read the final book after is such a thrill still adore this story.
