Not originally intended as a "story", the author fell in love, writing poetry for her with furious abandon, through days of obscure verse to open dedications of love, calling for its return, and celebrating the ensuing relationship.

These poems document, in the order written, a frank and desperate joy the author found in this mystery woman, their private romance written before an unknowing audience, the anxiety, dreams, wishes, and, ultimately, the crushing heartbreak at the end of their road before the long difficult journey to acceptance and forgiveness.

Sometimes lyrical, sometimes blunt, always heartfelt in its romance, these words were bled, danced, and laughed onto the page with reckless sincerity, struggling to express, through the written word, the depth of feeling when it could not be offered through touch.

This is the author's heart in words.
