Ellis Murphy has loved Levi Winchester for most of their fifteen-year friendship. She’s gone hundreds of miles away for college, dated other people, and desperately tried to ignore her feelings for him all these years.
Levi has always been the playful, harmless flirter but Ellis' steadfast rock of a friend. Between camping with their best friends, the countless summer nights by the pool, and sitting under fireworks, things seem to be shifting.
When Levi thinks there’s someone waiting for Ellis back at college, he isn’t sure how he feels about that—so he settles in for another summer just like the rest. They’ve both resolved themselves to just being friends—without the other even knowing.
But the fireworks seem to be larger than ever this summer—and not the ones put on by her family’s fourth of July show. Is Ellis reading too much into it? Or does Levi really see her as more than a friend?
After all, how could they be anything more after being friends for so long?

Red White and Only You is a sharply written novella that offers the perfect bite-sized romance of friends to potential lovers Ellis and Levi. A fifteen year friendship has led them to a fork in the road of their relationship, and it is time for some difficult decisions. Is taking a friendship to the next level a dangerous proposition when you might risk destroying the very foundation that has held you together through life's ups and downs, or is finding a love that makes your heart sing worth risking comfort, security and trust by opening yourself up to new possibilities?
This is a quick, satisfying read that will have you rooting for a happily ever after.
Many thanks to the author for providing me with a copy to read and review.
So this is a novella, which means I don’t wanna give too much away. Levi and Ellis have been best friends for over half their lives, and they’ve never been anything more… although, not for a lack of dreaming on Ell’s part. But one fateful summer, maybe that can change…
Oh my gosh, yes! In only a couple pages, Morhaime had me rooting for Ellis and Levi. They had the best chemistry, the kind where it’s still passionate, but there’s so much love and trust as the foundation that they really, truly had it all. I loved them, and I loved this novella. Kudos to Morhaime for completely and utterly charming me with this one!!
Clean romances are not exactly my favorite, however this one was very good. The author did a fabulous job of creating chemistry, and keeping it going without steamy scenes. Thank you for the opportunity to read this ARC.
As always, Michelle has done it again. A lovely easy read, capturing my attention within the first pages. Gorgeous characters and a beautiful happy ever after.
A sweet story of two best friends who fought their feelings for each other all through growing up. They finally give in and tell each other how they feel after they both graduate college. It is sweet to see them realize what they each meant to each other, while those around them knew all along.

Watching Ellis and Levi allowing themselves to admit what everyone else knew, is a trip you don't want to miss. Harboring a massive crush on Levi, Ellis seems doomed to live her lovelife without The One in it, until one fateful 4th of July and a summer at home. There's just something magical about fireworks in the air!
Red, White, And Only You is a very sweet book about Ellis, and Levi, who have been friends since childhood. Levi is always more than happy to help Ellis’ family with their fireworks stand , and now is no different, at least until he finds and job, and Ellis leaves to go to graduate school. They both know that their feelings is more than friends but Ellis is afraid of messing up the closeness that they have. Not admitting to each other, their true feelings could mean that the only fireworks will be in Ellis backyard. Summer is slipping away quickly, and then, they will be away from one another if someone doesn’t act. Can they start a spark and have fireworks forever? I definitely recommend it!
Levi and Ellis have been best friends for over a decade & are completely clueless to each others feelings. While all their friends are finding their soulmates and setting up for the future, Ells mom gives them the nudge they each need to put their feelings out there!
