Would make a great movie, it is very visual in style. The story is interesting and well planned. A really good balance of world building and character development. The ending is bonkers and fun. Can't wait for the second one to see what happens.

This book was a really good spacey SciFiy story.
I would have been served better to have this story in physical copy, having a hard time switching to the glossary, or having to remembering what exactly was happening. I would have done better with the physical copy. But that doesn’t have anything against the story.
If you are into sci fi novels or space novels, this series is going to be a good one to check out.
Got a little confused with the names, but once I got that down it was smoother to read and follow.
X7 E7 E2, it got kinda confusing in parts.

Excited to check out the rest of the series

Generally an interesting plot with lots of networking beings and hints of an interesting political and social hierarchy. But a lot falls apart with overexplaining and a linear style battle ending (this happened then this happened then this happened). The ending felt underdeveloped and all the characters became automatons with little emotional depth in my opinion. Another 30 to 50 pages of story depth would likely have improved things.

I thought it was an excellent story, well edited. The characters were fun and the ending was a surprise. It was kind of like Isaac Asimov writing War Hammer 40k in the best possible way. I have preordered the next two already.

Love the idea of Ancient. The idea of a futuristic mining job seems pretty simple. What is wonderful about this book is that nothing is as it seems. It is well-written. It is interesting. I continued reading looking for answers. Like that as a reader I had to figure out the twists as they appeared. Very compelling. There are a few heavy narration sections that slow the story a bit. There are a few confusing sections as well that you have to plow through to get to the good part of the story. Really enjoyed the discussions of the guardians and the ethereal, but at times it was a little longer than necessary. There are some really great parts to the novel. Love the descriptions. Love the character development. As a reader I liked trying to figure out the story before the end. I also liked the whole robot, android and human interaction. For a first part of a planned three book series kudos to the author. Looking forward to the next selection. Wondering where it heads after such an interesting beginning.
